What is my Snapchat AI?.In 2023, Snapchat introduced a feature for everyone using the app, previously only available to premium users. It’s called My AI, an artificial intelligence chatbot integrated right into the Snapchat app. According to Snapchat, My AI is based on OpenAI ChatGPT technology, as well as an extra layer of security and controls only available through Snapchat.My AI works in a similar way to other chatbots: you can ask it questions, enter hints, and discuss ideas. It learns and develops the more you talk to it, so it can provide better and better answers the longer you talk. In this article, we’ll discuss some of the basics on how to use My AI, what it can and can’t do. 
How to Use My AI on Snapchat
To be able to access My AI, you need to make sure your Snapchat app is updated to the latest version. Then, once you open the app, you should see “My AI” pinned to the top of your Snapchat conversations. To start a conversation with My AI, click on that conversation and you can start typing like you would in any other conversation.There are many things you can ask My AI for. For example, you can ask questions, look up directions, ask for recipes, and more. Whatever you ask, My AI is really limited by your imagination.To start chatting with My AI, follow these steps:
- Open Snapchat and swipe right to access your camera chats.
- You will see a chat My AI at the top of the chats with an emoji robot image. Click on it.
- Start chatting with My AI by typing in the text box just like you would chat with other Snapchat friends.
- You can even send photos by clicking on the camera icon to the left of the text field.
From here you can chat with the My AI chatbot as much as you like.
How to Customize My AI
If you want to change the look of your My AI avatar, change its name or even its clothes, you can do it quite easily. This works similar to changing your own Snapchat avatar.To change the name of my AI:
- On the Chats tab, click My AI avatar .
- Click the ellipsis icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Press Friendship Management.
- Press Change name.
- In the text field, change the name of My AI to whatever you want.
If you want to change the appearance of My AI, here’s how to do it:
- In the My AI profile, tap the Customize option in the banner.
- Click on Avatar.
- Follow the instructions to start the setup. This works the same as setting up your own Bitmoji.
- When done, choose Save.
If you want to change the outfit of your My AI avatar, you can do so by editing its Bitmoji. However, if you only want to change his outfit, you can do that too.
- On the My AI profile page, click Customize.
- Press Outfit.
- Select the clothes you want to wear on your My AI avatar.
- When done, click Save.
You can always change My AI Bitmoji or avatar whenever you want.
Can You Delete My AI?
Some Snapchat users don’t really like the fact that an artificial intelligence bot is constantly pinned to the top of their chats. So is it possible to remove My AI if you really don’t want to use it? The answer depends on whether you have Snapchat Plus or not.If you are a Snapchat Plus subscriber, you can remove My AI. However, if you are not a Snapchat Plus subscriber, this is currently not possible. Here’s how to remove My AI as a Snapchat Plus user:
- In Snapchat, go to the Chat screen.
- Press and hold My AI.
- Press Chat Settings.
- Select Remove from chat feed.
From there, you will no longer see the “My AI” icon pinned to the chat screen. You can still search for My AI and chat with the bot again if you want it to show up later.
How Does My AI Know My Location?
Some Snapchat users have expressed concern that My AI may give them suggestions related to their location, such as restaurants. Users have found that My AI can do this even if you’ve set your Snapchat to Ghost mode.However, there is a simple explanation for this that does not result in My AI collecting new location information that you have not provided yet. If you previously allowed Snapchat to access your location information, this is what My AI uses. Using Ghost mode doesn’t mean that the Snapchat app as a whole doesn’t collect your location information, it just means that it doesn’t show it to other users.If you don’t want Snapchat to use your location, you can go to settings on your smartphone, find the Snapchat app, and disable location sharing.
