These Services Are Free During Quarantine.
To encourage quarantine, many online companies offer their services for free. For example, HBO made 500 hours of entertainment free during quarantine. Finding everything yourself can be tricky, however, so I made this guide. Let’s start.
I will divide the services into categories like Entertainment, Education, Fitness, etc. to make it easier for you to choose one. Also, some of these services are only available to US customers, however you can easily bypass this limitation using a VPN. I will update this list as I discover new services with free offers for this period.
Entertainment
1. 500 hours of HBO
To make your stay at home less boring, HBO has decided to offer 500 hours of content that will last you several weeks. Although it’s only available in the US, you can follow this guide to get it outside of the US.
2. All episodes of Samurai Jack
Adult Swim’s noblest samurai, Jack, is ready to take you into a fantasy world from this reality to the world of adventure. You can watch all episodes for free on the Adult Swim website.
3. Sling TV Free Trial
Sling TV offers 7 days of free Sling Blue TV streaming without a credit card. This includes the news networks CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, BBC America and many more. However, like HBO, it is only available to US users, however a good VPN should remove restrictions.
4. All episodes of Star Trek: Picard
CBS All Access offers a one month free trial that will allow you access to the entire service library. To gain access, you will need to register and enter the “GIFT†coupon code to receive a 30-day free trial. Join us!
5. Apple TV +
Apple is not one to shy away from this situation and put out a fair amount of shows to keep you busy. Apple offers shows like The Elephant Queen, Little America, Servant, For All Humanity, Snoopy in Space, and more. You can access all of these from the Apple TV app and log in system with Apple ID.
6. A few YouTube Originals
YouTube also offers some of its premium shows for free, and you don’t even need to have a premium subscription to do so. Shows on display include Escape from the Night, Impulse, Foursome, Sherwood, etc. You can watch the show here.
7. Free premium for Pornhub
Pornhub does their best to make your stay at home bearable, which is why they offer their premium directory for free. You just need to create an account and you’re done. You can register here. No credit card required.
8. Watch Netflix documentaries
Netflix has directed several original documentaries such as Sir David Attenborough’s Our Planet. There are ten documentaries in total, and you can just go to the Netflix YouTube channel and watch the content.
Skills / Courses
9. The plural form
For the entire April 2020, PluralSight made the entire library of over 7000+ courses free for new users. You can visit the website, register for an account and start learning IT operations, machine learning, software development, cybersecurity, and more.
10. IVY League Courses
The good folks at freecodecamp have put together a comprehensive list of free courses from the most prestigious US educational institutions. There are about 450+ courses on the list, from Computer Science to Personal Development. Check out the list here.
11. Nikon School Video Courses
If you’re an aspiring video creator, you’d like to know that Nikon has made their video tutorials available for free. They have a very impressive curriculum that includes subjects such as photographing children and pets, photography basics, the art of making music videos, and more. 12. Free live lessons for students
Popular Indian edutech platform, Byju’s, offers free live classes for students who are stuck at home. Although the program is aimed at Indian students, you can still check it out by installing the Byju app on your smartphone.
13. Coursera free courses
Online learning platform Coursera has made some 3,800 of its premium courses available for free. These courses are designed to get unemployed civil servants back on track and hopefully find better jobs. You can read more about this here.
14. Grow with Google OnAir
Google offers digital skills training, interviews with professional experts and programs from partners including Merit America and the National Congress of the American Indian. You can visit their website and start a course of your choice.
Fitness
15. Premium content for Nike Training Club users
Nike Training Club is the app of choice for many athletes and we at TechWiser recommend it for its simplicity. NTC made premium content free until further notice. You can simply install the app on your smartphone and view the premium section inside the app.
16. Adidas Training with Runtastic – Three-month free trial
Following the same path, the Adidas training app also offers a three-month free trial that will allow you to access all of the premium content in the app. You can simply install a free app from the Play Store or App Store and access premium content from the app.
Programs
17. Tinder passport
Okay, you can’t leave your house, and there is no one interesting around on Tinder. You can simply change your location anywhere in the world using the passport function. It is free during quarantine and will allow you to meet people from all over the world.
Video / audio editing
18. Free 90-day trial for FCP X
Apple’s FCP or Final Cut Pro X is an indispensable tool for most content creators working with macOS, mainly because it is intuitive and easy to use. Although the license costs $ 300, you can get a copy of the software with a 90-day free trial.
19. Free 90-day trial for Logic Pro X
This is the favorite software of music creators and has probably been used to create one of your favorite songs from the last decade. Apple offers a 90-day free trial with no questions asked. Just enter your email address and you will receive a copy of the software for the next 90 days.
20. Harvester
Reaper is another music workstation software that offers a license key that you can use to unlock all the features of the paid software. If you are into music, now is a good time to brush up on this skill. Get your license key here.

21. Cards Against Humanity
A very popular card game that destroys families is giving away his entire deck in PDF format. If you are attached to a family and have a printer, you can print this deck and start playing. All the rules are on the site.
22. Steam games for sale
If you want to get the most out of your Steam games, buy them during sales. How do I know when a game is on sale? You can follow your favorite games on the Steamsales website.
23. Two PS4 games for free
If you have a PS4 at home, then Sony has two of the most popular games for you. You can play Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey for free until May 6, 2020. Read more about Sony’s announcement here.
