Quickly Get Rid of “App is Using Battery Notificationâ€.
We recently had a Samsung Note 9 in our office and I customized it with a few essential apps. After a while, I received an annoying “Audible is using battery” notification that, unlike other notifications, cannot be deleted.
Why?
With Android 8.0 Oreo, Google introduced a new feature called “persistent notification” that detects a battery-draining app in the background ( Facebook Messenger coughs
Fix – The app is using battery notification
Swipe down on the notification bar to display the app is running out of battery notification.
Press and hold this notification (or slide it to the left if that doesn’t work) and a new toggle gear will appear next to it.
Click on the switch to turn it off.
Save your changes by clicking on the “Save” option at the bottom. And he has to hide the permanent notification. Note that this only hides the notification, the app is still running in the background. If it is not an active application, such as a music player or podcast, you need to “force close” it.
Alternatively, you can install the Hide Background Notifications app from the Google Play Store. As long as you have this app installed, you will not see any persistent notifications on your phone.
