Open multiple websites with single click.
Most of us open multiple websites several times a day. For example, I check my Google Analytics, Reddit, and YouTube every few hours. You can open another set of websites, but you get the idea, right? So instead of having to enter the URL every time, we need to automate this process.
Open Multiple Websites is a Chrome extension that allows you to open your favorite websites in a new tab with one click. It also saves your links to the Chrome storage. The following screenshot shows how it works.
Pro tip: To open an extension using a keyboard shortcut, go to the Chrome extensions page scroll down until you see a keyboard shortcut assign a keyboard shortcut starting with Ctrl or Alt.
To do the same on Android, use an automation app called Tasker. It’s paid on Google Play ($ 3), but trust me, it’s worth it.
After installation, follow these steps or watch this video tutorial.
1. Go to the tasks tab click the plus sign at the bottom create a new task, let’s call it “open multiple websitesâ€.
2. To add the first action, click the plus sign at the bottom Network View URL.
3. Paste the link into the URL field and repeat this process to add multiple websites. Then go back to save your changes.
4. Now go to your widget find Tasker drag and drop it to your desktop. Then it will launch the tasker task menu. Select the “open multiple sites” task and you’re done.
Now, when you click on a widget, it launches your browser and your favorite websites.
