iClever BTH03 Bluetooth Kids Headphones Review.
Buying headphones can often be a daunting task. There are many variables to consider – the sound quality, the comfort of the headphones on your head, and if they’re connected via Bluetooth, you also want the connection to be stable. There is nothing worse than listening to music or TV shows and turning off the sound every minute or two.
After years of using a pair of Sennheiser wired headphones, I thought that nothing could take me away from them. However, after trying the iClever Bluetooth BTH03 headphones, I may have to change my mind. It might be a small set of headphones for a small price, but they have a big advantage in the audio department.
Not just for kids!
I need to clarify a few things before proceeding. These headphones are marketed as “kids headphones” but can be easily used by an adult (assuming your head isn’t exactly huge!).
The ear pads are easily adjustable to fit the head of a child or average adult. Weighing 160 grams with a very soft headband, you won’t even feel like they’re on your head. They’re also extremely flexible, as you’ll see in the video above, so they can be squeezed into your child’s school bag without worrying about breaking.

But if you’re an adult looking for an inexpensive pair of headphones, you can’t go wrong with one either. Don’t let the kids confuse you.
Pros of the iClever BTH03 Headphones
Let’s go straight to the important thing and tell you about everything that is good about these headphones.
First, it takes less than two hours to charge these earbuds to full capacity (in my tests, I overclocked them for about 90 minutes). Then, once you have a full charge, the battery will last for an incredible 18-20 hours (again, this was tested where it lasted just over 18 hours, although the company claims 20 is possible – your mileage may vary). p>
There is an on / off button on the side of the earbuds to help conserve battery power when not in use. Turn on the headphones, then turn on Bluetooth on your device, be it smartphone, tablet or laptop, and the headphones will automatically connect.
Next to the on / off switch is the volume control. Start a music, movie or TV show – and off you go. Since the distance between the device and the earbuds is 33 feet, you do not need to place the device near you.
If you’re using headphones on your smartphone, you can also answer, pause and end phone calls. They have a built-in microphone for excellent sound quality.
But what is the overall sound quality?
Simply put – the stereo sound quality is surprisingly good.
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. So for just $ 36 for these headphones, you might think the audio quality is substandard at best.
But you are wrong. The sound quality is really really good.
Now I’m not an audiophile or a sound engineer. If that were the case, I would most likely have noticed the tiny sound quirks that bothered me. I am a regular headphone user just like you. And remember that the box says “baby headphones” – which means your child is unlikely to complain, right? As long as they can listen to Cookie Monster or Spongebob Squarepants, the sound will be enough for them.
The sound is amazing to my untrained ear.
The Downsides of the iClever BTH03 Headphones
I’m not sure if this is a drawback per se, but if you connect headphones to one device, the headphones won’t connect at the same time to the second device. You must first unpair with the first device. Only then will the headphones be connected to another device.
Whether this is related to headphones or Bluetooth in general, I cannot say. But if you use headphones with different devices, you might be a little annoyed with having to constantly press “Forget this device†every time you want to use the headphones with another device.
