Facebook Watch Party is a little-known feature that lets you watch Facebook videos together. You can not only watch videos together, but also play videos in perfect sync. Let’s have a Facebook party.
Set up a Facebook Watch Party
First, log into your Facebook account, on the main page in the “Create a post” section, click “More” (three horizontal dots).
Along with the regular options, you will see other options such as live video, polls, recommendations, and Watch Party. Click Watch Party.
You can add videos to Watch Party by searching or choosing from the suggested ones. Facebook also offers shows that you can watch with your friends. After adding all the videos to the queue, click Done.
Then name your post Watch Party. It will only appear in the feeds of people you share it with. You can adjust visibility by clicking the drop-down menu next to News Feed.
Now you just need to click the Publish button. It will take a while to process your Watch Party. It will start showing up in their news feed and notifications.
Just grab a bite and enjoy the video with your friends.
Watch Party gets more fun when more people collaborate, you can add cohost to Watch Party, it grants user permissions to add and remove videos. You can chat in real time using the comments section, use emojis and invite others to your party.
Just click the “Invite†button in the bottom left corner and send the link to everyone you want to join in the fun. All participants appear at the bottom.
This is how others see your Watch Party in their news feed. If they see it, they can join without an invitation.
