How to Watch Apple TV+ on Roku, FireFox, Android TV and Chromecast.

Apple TV + is Apple’s latest streaming media service that brings you originals like The Morning Show, SEE, Dickinson, For All Humanity and many others. Although it comes bundled (for a year) with every Apple product purchased after September 10, you can still get a $ 4.99 subscription if you don’t have Apple products.

Apple officially supports Apple TV + on all Apple devices, Roku, Firestick and select Samsung and Sony Smart TVs. But you can still install Apple TV + on other streaming devices like Chromecast, Android TV, and other smart TVs. I’ve compiled a list of all the devices you can watch Apple TV + on, let’s check them out.

1. Any computer

While not generally known, Apple TV + has a web interface like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Simply open the Apple TV + website using this link in any web browser and sign in with your Apple ID. Once logged in, you can view and view it on Windows and Linux. If you’re using a Mac, it will redirect you to the Apple TV app. Streaming quality is automatically adjusted and the controls are similar to those of applications.

2. An Android smartphone

There is no Apple TV app for Android, but you can use a web browser.

Like Windows computers, Apple TV + web interface supports mobile web browsers, and you can watch Apple TV + on any Android smartphone. Open the Apple TV + website and sign in with your Apple ID. That’s it, you get a web interface that is optimized for your mobile screen. Enjoy!

3. Chromecast

If you have a Chromecast, you can stream Apple TV + shows using the Chrome browser on your computer. To get started, simply log into the Apple TV + website in a Chrome browser on your computer and play the show, right-click anywhere in the video player, click Broadcast, and select your Chromecast from the list. However, this is not the most elegant solution, as you will have to control the playback on the TV using the browser on your computer.

4. Firestick

The Apple TV app is officially available for Firestick and you can download it from the Amazon app store. Just search for Apple TV and install the app. Log in with your credentials and you’re done. It is currently available for residents of the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and India. Apple promises that the app will soon be available in other countries.

5. Rocco

Firestick and Roku are the only (currently) third-party streaming media players that Apple officially supports. If you have a Roku device or can get your hands on one, you can watch Apple TV +. If you have a compatible Roku device, simply press the Home button on your Roku remote, find and open the Channel Store. Then select Search for Channels and search for Apple TV. So, sign in and enjoy Apple TV + on Roku.

6. Smart TV

Samsung Smart TV has its own TV OS (Tizen OS) and officially supports Apple TV. I’ve tested the Apple TV app and it works flawlessly. Go to the App Store on your TV and install Apple TV, sign in and enjoy your favorite shows on your Smart TV.

7. Android TV

So far so good, we’ve managed to install Apple TV + on almost all platforms except Android TV. While Firestick works with a dedicated Android skin and officially supports the Apple TV app, there is no easy way to install this app on your Android TV like NVIDIA Shield TV or any other Android TV. However, if we can get the browser to open the Apple TV + website, we should be able to access Apple TV + on Android TV.

Start by downloading Chrome or Firefox to your Android TV. You can check out this detailed guide on how to download apps on Android TV. You should now be able to open the Apple TV + website on Android TV. If navigation is a problem, you can connect a USB or Bluetooth mouse, or download the Mouse Toggle app to use the Chrome browser with just a remote control. Now, open the Apple TV + website, sign in and enjoy Apple TV + on your Android TV.

How to watch Apple TV + without Apple TV

So this is how you watch apple tv + without any Apple device. There is no official support for Chromecast and game consoles at the moment, so I recommend that you get a cheap streaming stick like Firestick or Roku. The interface is consistent across all devices I’ve tested it on and rarely ran into any issues. The only problem is the lack of official support, which will hopefully be resolved in the future. What do you think? Have I missed any devices that can run Apple TV, let me know in the comments below?
