If you are an avid Amazon shopper, you may need to take a look at your orders and previous Amazon purchases. You may have products that your company pays for, or those that you share with roommates.

Either way, you can easily download your Amazon order history. Along with orders, you can view products, returns, and refunds. In addition, you can select dates or view several quick reports.

Access Your Amazon Purchase History

Currently, the purchase history download feature is only available in your account settings on the Amazon website and not in the mobile app. So, visit Amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account.

In the upper right corner, under your name, select “Accounts & Lists”. Select Account from the drop-down menu. Scroll to the “Order and Purchase Settings” section and select “Download Order Reports”.

Use a Quick Set Option

At the top of the page, Request an order history report, you will see a field with speed dial options.

Create an Order History Report

To view products, orders, returns, or refunds for a specific date range, you can set up your own report.

At the top of the page, select the report type from the drop-down list. Enter a start date and an end date. You can select “Use today” as the end date if you wish. Enter a name for the report, if desired. Select Request Report.

You will see a short message that your report has been requested and is being processed. You can also view the real-time report status in the Request Status section and in the Your Reports section at the bottom of the page.

When the report is ready, you will receive an email to the address associated with your Amazon account. So if you want to do other things instead of waiting for a report, just check your email for a notification.

Download Your Amazon Order History

The email you receive when your report is ready contains a link to download the report immediately and another link to view all of your reports.

If you use the download link in the email, this will open your browser and place the report in your default Downloads folder.

If you are visiting Amazon.com, to view your reports, click the Download button to the right of the report. Then go to your Downloads folder to open it.

View Your Amazon Order History Report

By default, the report is a CSV file. For a better view, open it with Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or another spreadsheet application on your computer.

Depending on the selected report type, you will see different information in the file. Basic reporting information can include order ID, order date, ship date, item name, product category, ASIN/ISBN, vendor, shipping name and address, and quantity.
