In Minecraft, you can use the teleport command to quickly move around the map. This can be useful if you are working on a new build and are not bothered by the constant running back and forth.

In this article, we’ll show you how to teleport in Minecraft, including how to enable cheats, find the coordinates you want to teleport to, and teleport to those coordinates whenever you want. Since the process is platform-dependent, we’ve divided our guide into sections for PC, Console, and Mobile so you know how to teleport on each.
How To Enable Cheats in Minecraft
To use teleport commands in Minecraft, you must enable cheats in your world. How to do this depends on which version of the game you’re playing, so we’ll take a quick look at that before we explain how to teleport. Keep in mind that using cheats means you cannot unlock achievements.
Java version
Load the world you want to play or create a new map. Press Esc and select “Open on LAN”. Switch to “Allow cheats”: ON.
Pocket Edition
Load the world you want to play. Click in the upper right corner of the screen to open the pause menu. Click “Settings” and turn on the “Cheat Codes” toggle.
Note: you can only activate cheats in the PE edition if you are the owner of the game. The trial version won’t let you activate cheats or teleport.
Everything Else
All other versions, including Windows 10 Edition and console versions, are very similar. You can activate chats from the world edit screen or the world creation screen.
Select Play. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) to the right of the world you want to play in. Or select “Create a New World”.
On the edit or create world screen, scroll down to the “Cheats” section and select “Activate Cheats”.

How To Teleport in Minecraft on PC or Mac
Teleporting on the PC version of Minecraft is probably the simplest of the three. To do this:
Open Minecraft and load the world you want to play. Go to the place in the game where you want to teleport. Press F3 to display your coordinates. They will appear under your minimap as three numbers in a row. These are the x coordinate, the y coordinate, and the z coordinate (for example, 43 22 181). Write them down as you need them to teleport.
To teleport:
Open the console by pressing the “/” button. Command for teleportation: “/ teleport “. So using the above example it would look like this: / teleport MinecraftSteve 43 22 181
Press Enter to teleport.
Note: You can also teleport players to other players’ locations using the command “teleport “. For example, teleport Minecraft Steve, Minecraft Bob.
How To Teleport in Minecraft on the Console Version
In the console version of Minecraft, teleportation is slightly different. If you just want to teleport yourself or someone else to another player, do the following:
Open the Chat & Commands window by pressing the right D-pad on your controller. Click the “/” button. Select “Teleport”. Select “Who or Where” and select the location you want to teleport to. The team will automatically enter your chat.
Click submit.
To teleport to a specific coordinate:
First, you need to include coordinates. On the Create Map screen, scroll down to World Options and select Show Coordinates.
Upload your world and travel to where you want to teleport to in the future and write down the coordinates. Open the Chat & Commands window by clicking the right D-pad. Click the “/” button. Command for teleportation: “/ teleport “. So using the above example it would look like this: / teleport MinecraftSteve 43 22 181
Press X to enter the command.

How To Teleport in Minecraft Pocket Edition
Teleporting to Pocket Edition is much easier than teleporting to the console. To do this:
Open Minecraft and choose your world. Under the World Options heading, find Show Coordinates and turn it on.
Upload your world. Your coordinates should now be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. These are the x coordinate, the y coordinate, and the z coordinate (for example, 43 22 181). Go to the place where you want to teleport, and write down these numbers.
If you want to teleport there, tap the chat icon again and enter “/ tp “. For example: / tp MinecraftSteve 43 22 181
Press Enter.
