People no longer access the Internet from one browser or device. Most switch between devices in everyday life. Each browser has its own set of bookmarks If you create or delete a bookmark in one browser, the change will not show up in the others you are using.
This will work fine if you use the same browser on all of your devices. However, most people don’t. Firefox and Opera users, for example, want to view their favorite sites in multiple browsers and therefore want to be able to sync bookmarks across browsers across systems.
You can manually import or export bookmarks between browsers. However, this is time consuming, inefficient and requires constant updating. This article will describe several solutions to sync bookmarks and data on Windows when using Firefox and Opera.
Some browsers, including Firefox and Opera, have built-in options so you don’t need any third-party software or extensions to sync data and settings across all your devices.
How to set up Firefox Sync
If you don’t have a Firefox account yet, sign up. Then open Firefox on your computer. Then click on the hamburger menu button in the upper right corner> Options.
Sign in, add your credentials and then click Sync in the left navigation pane.

As you can see in the screenshot above, we are currently syncing bookmarks, addresses, open tabs, logins and passwords, add-ons and options.
If you want to delete a synced item, click Edit and uncheck what you don’t want to sync. To add a device, click Connect Another Device to sync it in Firefox.
Sync your Opera browser with its built-in widget
Log into Opera by going to Preferences (for PC) and Preferences (for Mac)> Browser Preferences.
Scroll down to the Synchronization section and click the Sign In button.
If you don’t have an Opera account yet, click the blue button that says “Create my account”. If you already have an account, please sign in.
Select what you want to sync and click “Start”.
Synchronization is enabled after logging in.
When you sign out of your Opera account, the data saved in your browser is not synced. To add a new bookmark or password to the synced data, you must be logged into your Opera account.
There are also third-party tools that can help you sync bookmarks and your data across your devices. We will discuss some of them below.
Atavi

With Atavi, you can use your bookmarks through their service and set Atavi as your home page. Add new bookmarks to your favorite pages through the control panel.
When you switch your home page to Atavi, it automatically opens when you launch your browser.
