For example, if you have a Samsung phone, you can use the native Messages app called Samsung Messages to schedule text messages to be sent. To do this, follow these steps.
- Open the Samsung Messages app, find the contact you want to send a message to, and write down the text.
- Click the arrow icon. to the left of the text, then click the plus sign to open additional options.
- From the list of options, select Schedule Message.
- Select the time and date when you want your message to be sent. Select “Done” to confirm.

How to Schedule a Text Message Using Google Messages
On many Android smartphones, Google Messages is a built-in Messages application. This makes scheduling text messaging even easier on Android.
To schedule a text message to be sent in Google Messages, follow these steps.
- Open Google Messages and enter your text.
- Hold the Submit button until the Scheduled Submit option appears. and select it.
- Select the date and time you want to send the text.
- Select Submit to confirm. The button will now display a small clock icon, which means your message is scheduled.

Do It Later is like a snooze app, but it’s an app for automating your messages. In addition to scheduling emails and text messages to be sent at a later time, Do It Later allows you to automatically answer calls, text messages, WhatsApp messages, and even emails.
To schedule text in Do Later, open the app, click the plus sign in the lower-right corner of your screen, then select Message. Then add a recipient, record your message, and choose when you want the app to send it.
Click the checkmark icon in the upper right corner of the screen to confirm. Do It Later will take care of the rest.
