How to Rid the Google Chrome Pop-up Virus on Android.

Google Chrome Pop-up Virus is a common and nasty malware on Android phones. The most common cause of this virus is downloading applications from third-party or unknown sources that contain malware. The most important thing is NOT to click on the popup!

If your phone is infected, it’s not the end of the world. There are several ways to remove pop-up viruses from your Android device, and we’ll start with the most appropriate one – uninstalling any apps you don’t trust in Safe Mode.

Delete Suspicious Apps in Android

The first step to getting rid of Google Chrome virus on your Android device is to remove permissions from suspicious apps before restarting your phone in Safe Mode. This will prevent problems when you restart your phone.

1. Click Settings, then Biometrics & Security.

1. Open the Play Store.
2. Tap the User icon (the letter in the upper right corner of the screen).
3. Select Play Protect and check if it is enabled.

2. Once enabled, navigate back to Play Protect and select Scan.
3. Wait for the scan to complete and take all recommended actions immediately.

1. Open Google Chrome and create a new page.
2. Click More (three dots in the upper right corner of the screen).
