How to Return a Book on Audible App.
Blocking CoronaVirus proved to be a good opportunity to catch up on my reading list on Audible. However, having bought a couple of books from my wishlist, I realized that some of them are not up to par. Fortunately, Audible’s return policy allows the user to return any book they don’t like or that they bought by mistake. The only problem is that the official method of returning a book to Audible requires that you use a computer. However, if you don’t have access to a computer, you can still do it from your smartphone.
How many books can you return?
There is no limit to the number of books you can return. I returned no more than four books in a year and never had a problem. However, according to some people on Reddit, an account with good credentials can return up to 10 books per year with an automatic web button per year, but if you contact customer service, you can return unlimited books. Simply put, if you don’t abuse it, you can return a decent amount of books.
How to return books in the Audible app
Go to the Audible website and sign in to your account from your desktop. Remember, you must be an active Audible member to return audiobooks, and you must return the book within 365 days of purchase. If you are not a member, you will need to reactivate your account.
First, open a web browser on your smartphone and log into your Audible account. This method works for both Android and iOS as we are using a web browser to return the book to Audible.
When you see the desktop view of the site, tap your name in the upper-right corner of the page, then tap Account Information from the drop-down menu.
On your account page, tap the Purchase History option. You will find a complete list of all the audiobooks you have already purchased and a “Return” button next to it. Click the “Return” button next to the book you want to return. Some audiobooks may have written “Not Refundable†next to them. If this is the book you wish to return, please contact customer service to return it.
On the next screen, you will see a pop-up asking the reason for returning the book. According to Audible’s policy, you can return the book even if you have listened to it completely. Simply select the appropriate reason for the return and click the Return Title button.
And it’s all. Your book will be returned. If you paid for the book on credit, you will immediately receive a credit that you can use to buy any other book. If you purchased the book using a credit card, you will receive a refund to your account within a few business days.
