How to Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages on Android.
I have a group of friends posting and deleting messages. This not only frustrates you, but also piques curiosity about the messages. If you are one of them and want to get ahead of your friends, I have an easy way to recover these deleted messages. So, without further ado, here’s how to read deleted messages on WhatsApp.
Before we start, keep in mind that with this method you will only be able to see deleted messages after installing the following app. If you already have multiple deleted messages that you missed, the following method will not work.

How to recover deleted WhatsApp messages
To recover deleted WhatsApp chats, we will be using an application called WhatsTool. It is an app that has features like live chat, profile search, video sharing and more, one of which is the deleted message recovery feature. This method works on a locked phone, when you are using other apps, and even when you are talking to someone else on WhatsApp. The only time it doesn’t work is when your network is down and it gets removed before it’s delivered to you.
WhatsToo recovers deleted messages with your notifications and shows deleted dialog in the app
Open the Play Store and find the WhatsTool app. Now download and install the app and open it from the main menu.
When you first open an app, it asks for storage permissions. Click “Allow” when you see this popup. Now select the option to recover deleted messages from the main menu.
As I said, the app will pull messages from your notifications. Hence this will only work f
At this point, we will allow the application to read the notifications. Click to start message recovery as shown in the picture below. Then turn on WhatsTool for WhatsApp to read application information.
On the new screen, you won’t find any new messages as the app hasn’t found any messages yet. A slight downside to this app is that it displays all WhatsApp messages you receive (don’t send) in dialog-style tabs like WhatsApp.
To expand the conversation, tap on a contact’s name and view any new WhatsApp messages sent by that contact. When they send the text and delete it, it will appear in the same conversation. Just for the sake of experimenting, ask a friend to send you text and delete it. This will give you a better understanding of the user interface.
Below is an illustration of how the message will be reflected in your original WhatsApp chat and in the Whats Tool app. You cannot reply with the WhatsTool app and there are banner ads that I did not find intrusive. There are many other useful features in the app that you will love if you want to improve your WhatsApp game that I mentioned above. You can unlock premium features by watching sponsored ads, which also removes banner ads for $ 6.
Concluding remarks
So, that was the easy way to read WhatsApp messages. It works well with any Android phone and is very easy to use. Additionally, Android 11 introduces the notification history feature. But since most phones have yet to receive the update, we can’t say how this will go. Until then, this app will save you.
