How to Put a Password on a PS4 Account.
Imagine you bought a game for your PS4, you were stuck all night at a level that seemed impossible. You spent the next day pondering all the strategies, only to find out that your flatmate or cousin passed that level for you. This worries me a lot because it spoils the impression. I am creating an additional user, but this does not guarantee that he will leave. Luckily, PlayStation allows you to set a PIN for your account. This will prevent the possibility of my achievements in the game being hacked in the future.
Setting a password on PS4 is very easy, you just need to follow a few steps to enable the security function. You can set a 4-digit code that uses PS4 controller keys instead of letters and numbers. Think of it like the cheat code we used in old retro games, up, up, down, R2, or any key combination you can imagine.

Delete users on PS4
If you have children in your home, you can prevent them from accessing adult content. By default, anyone with a PSN account can log into your PS4 and play games. Even if you protect your account with a password, they can still log in with the new account and play games. You can fix this problem by deleting all other user accounts and disabling the creation of new accounts.
First, delete all other accounts from the PS4, go to Settings and select Login Settings.
In Login Settings, scroll down to User Management and press X to open the list of options.
Select the user to delete by pressing X on your controller. We’re going to remove any users you don’t want to associate with your PS4.
You will be prompted to confirm multiple times before erasing all user content. Confirm all requests and the user is now deleted.
Disable creation of new user and guest logins
After removing all users from the console, it’s time to disable the creation of new users. This will not only prevent them from creating new accounts, but it will also allow them to use guest logins. Go to Settings, scroll down to Parental Controls / Family Management and press X to open.
Select PS4 System Restrictions from the list of options and press X to open.
You will be prompted for a password before proceeding. If you have never changed your password before, you can enter 0000 by pressing the square (â–¡) button on your controller four times.
You will see “Allowed” next to “Create New User and Guest Login”.
Press X to open the list of options on the right and select “Not Allowed.” Now no one can create a new user to play on your PS4.
Secure your PS4
It was a quick way to set a password on PS4. If you are worried about other people spoiling your campaign or story, it is recommended that you have a PIN in your account. If you have 18+ games and don’t want young people to pay for these games, setting a password can really help. Removing your password is just as easy and you can do it in the same window.
