How to Play Stadia in Unsupported Countries.
Last year Google introduced Stadia, where people can simply stream games like Netflix and play on any device. This opened up the possibility of gaming for many operating systems like Mac, Linux, Chromebook, etc., and you can even play on your phone. Since I also use a Chromebook, I really like this service, but it is currently only available in 14 countries. If you try to access Stadia outside of supported countries, you will receive the error “Stadia is not yet available in your country.” Either way, a VPN connection can fix the problem. This is how you get started playing Stadia even in an unsupported country.

Stadia requires a fast internet connection, if you’re using a VPN to play from another country that’s even more imperative. Before starting, check your connection speed in the Stadia Speed Test to see if Stadia can start or not. If the message “Your connection is not yet ready for Stadia†is displayed, this is not working for you. At the very least, this requires a 10 Mbps connection.
And you can use any VPN to get started, but make sure your VPN doesn’t have a speed limit. Here I choose Proton VPN with Plus plan because it supports good speeds.
Install VPN and select any country supported by Stadia. After connecting, check again that your connection speed has not dropped.
If this is not the case, try connecting to a different server, this may solve the problem.
Now open the Stadia website, click Try and sign in with your Google account.
You will be taken to a seven-step process for creating a Stadia account. Complete the process by accepting the terms, choosing your avatar, choosing your name, changing your privacy settings, and finally starting your free trial.
To get started, you need to make a $ 0 purchase from your bank account. After the trial period expires, the amount will be debited from your account. If you are not satisfied with the service, you can unsubscribe at any time. It deducts $ 1 as a check and returns the money to you when the process is complete. Moreover, you can use any credit card. It doesn’t have to be an American card.
It asks for the postcode. Just search for “My Location” on Google, find the zip code of your VPN connection, and click Subscribe.
That’s it, you have access to Stadia as well as the free Pro service.
The gameplay is not that good with 720p display quality and lags here, but if you have a good internet connection it’s definitely a good experience. But you need to turn on the VPN every time you want to play. So, what are your impressions of Stadia? Let me know in the comments below.
