How to Mirror iPhone to Roku.
Streaming media content to your Roku device is easy, you can do it from a PC, Mac, or Android smartphone, but what about an iPhone or iPad? Well, you can use the official Roku app to stream photos and videos, but live screen mirroring is not natively possible. Luckily, there are third-party apps that let you cast your iPhone screen to Roku along with some other perks. Let’s check them out.
Before we start
First of all, we need to enable Screen Mirroring mode on the Roku device. This ensures that the content you download from the apps shown below will be accepted by Roku. To enable screen mirroring on Roku, make sure the Roku device and your iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Then go to Settings System Screen Mirroring Prompt or Always Allow.

How to mirror iPhone to Roku
1. Mirror for Roku – for mirroring the screen from iPhone / iPad
You most likely want to do more than just send videos and photos to your Roku from your iPhone, and Mirror for Roku might be the right option for that. It can stream whatever is on the iPhone / iPad screen to Roku TV.
Install Mirror for Roku from the App Store and open it on your iPhone. Discover your Roku device in the app by clicking the Select button. Tap your Roku to link your app to it.
The app will prompt you to set a channel on your Roku device, which will allow the app to mirror the iPhone screen to your TV. Click Install on your iPhone and then proceed with installing the channel to your Roku TV.
After that you will see a record button in the center of the screen. Click the button to start broadcasting. Due to Apple and Roku restrictions, the app works, records your iPhone’s screen and streams it to Roku.
Now, just click the Start Streaming button to start streaming live from your iPhone screen to your Roku TV. You can open any app and it will appear on the big screen, you can use it to stream video games, apps that don’t support Roku, etc.

Even though you can cast any app to your TV, it is still displayed vertically and there is no way to optimize it. However, the following app allows you to stream content optimized for TVs, such as videos from sources other than YouTube and Netflix.
2. Video and TV Shows | Roku Player – for broadcasting video from the Internet
This next app allows you to stream videos from sites like Tumblr, Instagram, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc. The app plays videos full screen on your TV. Install the Video and TV Cast app on your iPhone / iPad from the App Store. After installing the app, open it and click the broadcast button in the upper right corner. It will show a list of all available Roku devices on the network. Tap your Roku device to connect the app.
You can share local media, mirror screen, and stream videos from the internet to your Roku TV. Click “Web Browser” and enter the link for the video you want to play on your Roku. You can also search for videos using the built-in web browser and navigate the web pages.
When you go to the video page, the app will automatically detect the video and provide you with a link at the bottom. Clicking the button will move the video to Roku. You can choose the video size you like or click “adaptive quality†for automatic selection.
This app is free on the App Store and meets all your streaming needs. However, there are ads in the app that you can remove and unlock all features for $ 5.99.
3. Screen Mirroring – TV Cast – for broadcasting web videos.
Screen Mirroring – TV Cast is similar to the previous app, and I’ve added it in case any of the apps crash in the future. You can also try Mirror for Roku-AirBeamTV, which costs $ 4.99 and doesn’t have a free version.
