How to Mirror iPhone to Amazon Fire Stick.
Unlike the previous generation Firestick, the new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (along with the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Cube) does not support native screen mirroring. This means you can’t mirror iPhone to Fire Stick right out of the box. But luckily there is a simple workaround.
To the unknown, AirPlay is Apple’s wireless technology that allows content to be transferred between Apple devices wirelessly. For example, you can use Airplay to cast an iPhone screen (which acts as a source) to an Apple TV (which acts as a receiver), obviously both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Now, while Firestick doesn’t support Airplay out of the box, there are several third-party apps that support Google Cast, Miracast, and of course AirPlay. Let’s check them out.

1. AirScreen
AirScreen is one of the most popular Android and iOS screen mirroring apps on Firestick. It mimics the AirPlay protocol on a local server running Firestick. You can simply touch the device in the control center to enable screen mirroring.
For this to work, install the AirScreen app from the Amazon store (link below). Then go to your iPhone and swipe up to open the quick settings tab and tap Screen Mirroring (Airplay). It shows you a list of active devices, click the Airscreen server tile and alt, you can now successfully cast your iOS screen to the Fire TV Stick 4K. During testing, the app worked very well and I had no issues, however the Fire TV Stick 4K would sometimes fail to connect, which could have been a bug because the same thing worked flawlessly on the older Firestick. You can get the app for free on Amazon.
Pros
- Easy to use interface
- Fast connection
- Fast feed transfer
Cons
- Unreliable Firestick 4K connection (possibly a software issue)
Install AirScreen (firestick)
2. AirPin Pro
Like AirScreen, this app creates a server on Firestick to simulate the AirPlay protocol. However, if you just want to play music from your phone on your TV, you can do it with this app. This can come in handy if you don’t want to show the user interface and navigation of your phone just to listen to music. The app is paid and will set you back $ 4.99, but you can try the free version to see if the app works for you.
Pros
- Local Link Transfer
- Various AirPlay Modes for Video and Audio
Cons
- The UI is confusing for newbies
Install AirPin Pro (Firestick)
3. iWebTV Player
Firestick has an official app for most video services like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, etc., but what if you want to watch videos from other websites? iWebTV Player allows you to browse the web on iPhone and download videos to Fire TV Stick. Just download the app for iPhone and Firestick and you’re done.
While I was testing the app, I felt that it would be a little confusing for new users to use as it is not available in the Amazon Store, however you can watch this video to learn how to download apps to Aptoide TV.
Pros
- Plays a lot of videos from the Internet.
- Intuitive user interface of the application.
- Automatic connection establishment.
Cons
- Installing on Firestick is a bit tedious.
Try Aptoide TV
4. Video & TV Cast
The previous app allows you to stream videos from the internet to the Fite TV Stick, but cannot stream your personal media to the TV. Video & TV Cast can stream your personal media from Camera Roll and even iCloud to Firestick over LAN. Just install the app on both devices and enjoy your cute cat video on Fire TV Stick. Cool, isn’t it.
The free version is more of a trial version in which you can only stream the three latest media from the Camera Roll. You will have to shell out $ 6.99 to unlock all features blocked by paywalls.
Pros
- Ability to stream files from Camera Roll and iCloud.
- Local media streaming
Cons
- The free version has few features
Install Video & TV Cast (Firestick, iOS)
Show your iPhone on FireStick
These were some of the best apps that allow you to view your iPhone screen on a large screen. AirScreen and AirPin Pro are efficient and available in the Amazon store. iWebTV Player is available on Aptoide TV, which makes it difficult to install, but worth it. The latter app is perfect for when you just want to mirror your old photos and videos to your TV. While you’re at it, buy an MHL cable, it’s a good investment if you ever want to stream from your phone directly to your TV via the HDMI port. Which app are you using to mirror iPhone to Firestick, let me know in the comments below?
