Denial of responsibility. The iOS 14 Public Beta is an early version of the software with a lot of bugs. I would recommend using a second iPhone and backing up your data to iCloud or computer.
To install the iOS 14 public beta, simply go to beta.apple.com, scroll down and find the sign in button. Sign in with your Apple ID that is used on your iPhone.
Once logged in, scroll down to the Getting Started section and click Register your iOS device. After that, simply click the “Upload Profile” button on the web page to upload your profile.
The profile has now been downloaded to your iPhone and we just need to install it. Go to the Settings app and click General Settings. In the Profile section, you will find the installed profile.
Click the Install button in the upper right corner and you will be prompted to restart your iPhone. Reboot and we’re almost done.
Now go to Settings General Software Update Download and Install. Depending on your internet connection, it may take a few minutes to install the latest software version and reboot the device several times. Once this is done, you will have the latest public beta of iOS 14.
As much as I enjoy testing the new features of iOS 14, it has a lot of bugs that lead to app crashes, untimely restarts, and a buggy interface. If you want to go back to stable by trying the latest software version, it’s really easy.
How to uninstall iOS 14 Public Beta?
Go to Settings General Profile iOS 14 Profile delete the profile and wait for the next official update from Apple, and your iPhone will be restored to the latest stable version.
However, if you want to revert to a previous version of iOS immediately, you will have to restore a backup from your computer if you created one.
Last words
It was a quick way to get the iOS 14 public beta on your iPhone. I agree to pay $ 99, it just doesn’t make much sense for early access and so the public beta is free for everyone. Anyway, let me know if you have any doubts or problems installing iOS 14 on your iPhone.
