How to Get Android 11’s Media Control UI on Any Android.
One of my favorite Android 11 features is access to the media controls in the Quick Menu. With this feature, users can not only control media playback, but also change media output right in quick settings. Anyway, if you don’t want to wait for your device to install the Android 11 update, you can use a third-party notification management app. Here’s how.
How to get media control for Android 11 on any Android device
First, install the Power Shade app from the Play Store and click Open.
Now grant the app all three permissions. Dual Sim permission is used to make phone calls or reply to messages directly from notifications. To grant Dual Sim, just click on the radio button next to it and click “Allow” in the pop-up window.
Accessibility permission is used to overlay the application on top of the system and help the application integrate with the system. To enable access permissions, click on the toggle next to it and select the Power Shade option. Now turn the toggle on and click Allow to grant access to the Power Shade app.
The notification permission is used to display notifications in the new quick setting panel. Just click on the switch next to it and turn on the switch next to Power Shade on the next screen.
Your notification and quick settings panel will already be replaced by the new Power Shade panel. You can also try out the new media control interface in quick settings. If it doesn’t work, open the PowerShade app, open advanced features, and turn on the “Integrate media players into quick settings” option.
Now you can simply open Quick Settings and click on the speaker chip of your phone and instantly change the media output to any connected device. You can also play music from multiple apps and switch between them by simply swiping left and right.

Power Shade also offers many other features like icon resizing, shape, grid layout, color change, etc. You can completely transform the Quick Settings panel to look like a pixel or stock Android. Anyway, in order to access some of the other options like brightness, Wi-Fi, etc., you need to grant a few more permissions.
