How to Easily Share YouTube Videos with a Timestamp on Android.
I share a lot of YouTube videos with a friend and most of them are long music concert videos or tutorials. So instead of sharing the entire video, I just use YouTube’s timestamp feature to report the exact duration at which I want others to listen to the video. We’ve already talked about how to use timestamping for your YouTube videos without installing third-party apps. However, this process requires some work. So, here is a simpler method that allows you to easily share timestamped YouTube video using third party Andriod app.
Share YouTube videos easily with a timestamp
For this method, we will be using a third party Android app called Tube Notes. This is a very simple and handy application that is provided for free. After you download the application and it is installed automatically, open it from the main menu. The next step is to login. You can use your email, phone number, or, easiest of all, your Google account with the app.
Now that you are logged in, you will see the main page of the application. As I said, this is a simple app, so there won’t be many icons or buttons on the home screen. You have a + sign where you can add YouTube links, and a user sign that tells you which account you used to sign in. There is also an exit option on the same tab.
There are two ways to add time stamp to YouTube video using the app. The first is to click on the + sign at the top of the app.
On the new page, you can paste the video URL if you’ve copied it already. Otherwise, open the YouTube app and copy the link to your clipboard using the share option. Then paste it into the URL section in the app.
Let’s move on to the most intuitive, i.e., assign a timestamp to it. You can do this with the duration section just below where you copied the URL. As you can see, you have hours, minutes and seconds. You can scroll these scales up and down to change the value. Once you’ve set your desired timestamp, you want to share your YouTube videos by clicking “Save†at the bottom.
This way you will be able to save the video along with the time stamp displayed in the app.
You can also tap Share if you don’t want to save the video along with the timestamp in the app and want to share it with other apps right away. The third option – “Save and Add More” saves the video and stays on the URL page so you can add more links.
The second way is to immediately send the video to the Tube Notes app. It’s very simple and works well when you come across an interesting video that you want to share with your friends right away. For example, if you are watching a YouTube video, you can simply click on the submit icon and select Tube Notes on the screen to submit. That’s it, otherwise you can follow the same way as I said earlier.
Add notes when sharing a video
If you notice, there is another option under the URL link. Don’t get confused, this is an extremely useful feature that comes in handy when you want to have a chat or add a comment when you share it with friends and family. For example, if you are publishing a music concert, you can add a note, listen to guitar, vocals, etc.
The application is free and contains no ads that would annoy you while using it
If you are mainly saving the video before publishing, all videos will appear on the main page of the application along with a specific timestamp. This way you can listen to it at any time, in addition, you have a database of videos that makes it easy to share later.

Concluding remarks
So it was the easiest way to share YouTube video with time stamp easily. I especially like the Notes feature, which allows me to add additional comments to videos that I share so that my friends can focus on a specific part of the video. I hope you enjoyed reading this and now you are going to use this method often.
