How to Download High Quality Images from Google Play and App Store.
At TechWiser, we test many apps that often require high-quality screenshots from Google Play and the App Store. Assuming you’re reading this article, you may already know that both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store do not allow users to directly download the app logo or screenshots uploaded by the developer.
When you right-click a screenshot of any app in the app store, you cannot save images or open images in a new tab. The Google Play Store is slightly better, it allows you to right-click a screenshot of the app, but when you download the images, it saves them as a google website. No PNG or JPEG. It’s the same with the app logo.
While you can always take screenshots, you have to compromise on image quality. Luckily, there is an easy way to download hi-res images from both stores using simple hacks to check the elements. Let’s start with the Google Play Store.
