How to Download Google Photos Albums on Mobile.
Downloading albums from Google Photos to your desktop is easy. Just go to Google Photos, click Albums in the left menu. Find the album you want to download and open it. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Download All. That’s it, Google will download a zip file containing all the photos from your album.
But this does not apply to the mobile app, as there is no way to download multiple albums from the Google Photos app. You can still do it with the method below anyway.

Option 1 – Download individual albums to Google Photos
Before I show you how to download multiple albums from Google Photos, here’s a quick rundown of how to download a single album.
Open your browser and go to Google Photos. Now open the hamburger menu and select “Albums”.
Now open the album you want to download. Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of Google Photos and choose the Download All option.
This will download the Zip. You can extract the zip file using any zip extraction application or use the built-in zip file extraction function for files in the google app.
This process can be useful for downloading an album, but if you want to download multiple albums, you need to manually open each album and download it, and then you need to extract each zip file to access the album as a folder. If you want to upload multiple albums, you can use the following method.
Option 2 – Download multiple albums at once
To download multiple albums as a folder, open the Google Archiver using this link and click the Deselect All button, since we only want to download albums from Google Photos. Now scroll down and check the box next to Google Photos.
This will fetch the complete data from Google Photos, including every image. Since we only need a few albums, click the All Photo Albums Included button. A pop-up window will open with all the albums in your Google Photos library. Now click on the Deselect All button as this option shows auto-generated albums over time. Then scroll down and select all the albums you want to download and press OK.
After that, scroll down and click Next Step. Here you need to select the file type, frequency and destination. Leave the default options and click Create Export.
This process can even take hours or days, depending on the number of photos in your album. Either way, you will receive an email when the process is complete. Later, you can download the zip file and unzip it in the Files by Google app.
