How to Customize Google Widget on Android.
If you are using the default system launcher on your Android, there is no way to customize the Google widget. All you get is the ability to resize the widget and that’s it. Anyway, Google recently introduced you to features where you can change the style, radius, and color for your Google search widget. Here’s a before and after view and how to do it.
How to customize Google Widget on Android
First, make sure you place the Google widget on the homepage, as the customization option will only be visible when you use the widget. To place a widget, press and hold on the home page and select the Widget option. Now scroll down and press and hold the Google search widget to place it on the home page.
To customize the widget, open the Google app and tap More in the bottom menu. Here you can find a new option called “Customize Widget”. Open it up.
You can find 4 options here, the first option gives you the option to change the Google logo style.
The second option is useful for adjusting the radius of the search bar. You can choose from square, round square, or circle.
The third option is used to change the color and style of the search bar. You can click on the color picker option to choose any color you want.
With the fourth option, you can change the transparency of the search widget as you need it.
Click Finish and the widget will be saved and applied to the widget on the home page. You can even add multiple widgets to the home page, but you can’t edit them individually anyway.
