How To Create Your Own Personal Stickers On WhatsApp (Android).
WhatsApp recently introduced much-requested sticker support for Android. Although you can get a set of stickers for WhatsApp, either by searching in the app (displayed next to the existing emoji and gif option), or by installing it via third party sticker apps like these. But wouldn’t it be great if we could create our own stickers in WhatsApp?
Essentially, stickers work like emoji, that is, they are simply PNG images with a transparent background that look cool in chat. An interesting question arises; If stickers are regular PNG images, why can’t we create our own stickers? Well, it turns out you can. Actually, there are several ways to set custom stickers on WhatsApp. Let’s check them out.
Create your own personal stickers on WhatsApp
1. Use the official WhatsApp application form
To prevent users from overusing the sticker function with hastily cropped images, WhatsApp allows users to add stickers to chats only through third-party apps. WhatsApp has also released a sample app to help developers create custom stickers for Android and iOS. You can read more about the rules on their FAQ page and download the sample apps from this link.
If you are a developer or have a little coding experience, you can create your own sticker installer app in the Play Store. However, for most of you, this would be too difficult, which brings us to the next method.
2. Create stickers using the Bobble Keyboard application
Bobble Keyboard uses the feature to create stickers and download them to WhatsApp right from the app. Previously, we had to go through a lengthy process of editing stickers, then convert them to the correct format, and then use another app to download to WhatsApp. Now the app does all the work and makes the whole process smooth.
With this application you can create your own stickers with your own face. The application generates an animated avatar of your face and places it on pre-designed stickers. You can customize your avatar’s facial features and add stickers to WhatsApp directly with just one tap. The app is free on the Play Store.

3. Create and modify stickers within the application
We will be using Create Stickers for WhatsApp. Install it on your phone by following the link above.
To create a sticker, go to the app and select an image from the gallery. You can create a collage-style sticker using existing images and emojis.
After selecting an image, you are taken to the crop window, where you can adjust the orientation and crop the image. After that, the editor is loaded, in which you can make changes and adjust the image. You get a brush tool, text box, filters, and emojis. Use them to personalize your creations and create unique stickers.
After editing the image, click the checkmark icon to see a preview of the sticker. You have the option to add a custom-shaped sticker that adds another layer of exclusivity to your stickers.
Now click “Add to WhatsApp” to add stickers to WhatsApp. Viola, your stickers are now showing up on WhatsApp.
The only problem with this method is that you get a limited number of stickers after you run out of the limit, you can either buy a set or watch an ad to get some stickers.
4. Use Sticker Maker app
If you are looking for a one-click solution to send custom stickers to WhatsApp, check out the newly released sticker maker for WhatsApp. However, don’t forget to update your WhatsApp version on the Google Play store.
After the update, go to WhatsApp, open any chat and click on the emoticon icon in the bottom right corner. If you don’t see the sticker icon, you may have to wait a few more days before you can create your own stickers for WhatsApp.
Go to the Play Store and download the sticker maker for WhatsApp. It’s free and lets you create stickers from almost any image.
After downloading the app, open it and click the create a new sticker pack button.
You can specify the name and author of the sticker pack and click “Create†after entering the data. Once you’ve created your starter pack, click on the header to add stickers.
The only downside I felt when using the app was that you could only create one sticker at a time and you couldn’t use multiple images at once.
You first install the tray icon, which will be the thumbnail for the starter pack, and then add one sticker at a time. Tap the highlighted icon to start creating stickers. The app gives you two options: use an existing image or take a new one.
After you select an image, it will open the editor and you can crop funny faces by scribbling outlines with your finger. As soon as you release your finger, it grabs the area, cuts it out, and shows a preview. If everything is ok, click the Save Sticker button or try again to select the area for the sticker.
You can add up to 30 stickers to one sticker set, and once you are satisfied with the stock, you can post the sticker set. The pack must contain at least 3 stickers, otherwise it will not publish your set. After the sticker pack is published, you will be prompted to add the pack to WhatsApp, click the Add button, and you’re done.
Go to WhatsApp and open a chat window. Click the emoji icon in the lower left corner of the window and tap the stickers icon at the bottom. You will now see a thumbnail of your sticker and you can click on it to view a list of your stickers. You can send it to your friends and have fun.
