Change the iPhone Text Message Sound
Apple offers you a nice collection of message alert sounds, so you can choose one that you recognize quickly.
Open the Settings app and select Sounds and Feels.Tap Text Tone under Sounds and Vibration Patterns. Select a sound in the Tones area to preview it. You can also select Classic at the bottom of the Tones list to hear more options, or select one of the ringtones to use as your text message sound.When you hear the sound you want to use, make sure he is selected. A checkmark will appear next to it and it will become your default text tone.

Open the Contacts app and select a contact.Tap Edit in the top right corner.Scroll down and select Text Shade. Note that you can also select a ringtone for them.Select the alert tone you want to use for this contact. Click “Done” in the upper right corner to save your changes.
You can then click the arrow at the top left to exit and return to your contact list.
