How to Automatically Delete Your Retweets.
Have you changed your mind? Want to remove all the clutter you’ve created on your Twitter account over the years, you can easily delete all your tweets at once. But if your tweets are valuable to you and you just want to delete retweets, you can also do this with third-party apps like the circular arrow and tweet remover.
Delete Retweets using TweetDeleter
To delete old retweets, open TweetDeleter and click the “Sign in with Twitter” button.
In the pop-up window, log into the Twitter account from which you want to delete your old retweets. On the next page, click the “Authorize Application” button. In doing so, TweetDeleter can access data from your Twitter account. You can check all the information that TweetDeleter can collect on Twitter before you authorize it. However, this data is used to provide tools that may be useful to you, and TweetDeleter does not have access to any of your direct messages.
Once logged in, you will be redirected to the TweetDeleter home page. This tool is commonly used to delete all tweets. But you only remove retweets by filtering them. To filter out only retweets, click Type in the left menu and check the box next to Retweets. This will update the feed and only show your retweets.
You can click on the “select all tweets†checkbox at the top and click the “Delete Tweets†button in the upper right corner to delete all retweets.
In addition, you can filter changes such as date to only remove tweets from that time period, media to only remove retweets that have photos, videos, links, etc.
That being said, you can delete all retweets, delete only retweets with a different medium, or delete only retweets for a certain period of time. In any case, due to Twitter restrictions, Tweet Deleter can only access your last 3200 tweets. If you want to delete even old retweets, you can do so by uploading the archive to TweetDeleter.
Delete Retweets by uploading the archive
As stated, TweetDeleter can only access your most recent 3200 tweets. Thus, it cannot delete your old retweets after that. Either way, you can download tweet data from Twitter and upload it to TweetDeleter to access even your old tweets.
To download the Twitter archive of your account, open Twitter tap More Settings & Privacy Account Your Twitter Details enter your password and tap Verify. Now click the “Request Archive” button next to Twitter. This will take anywhere from a few minutes to hours depending on the amount of tweets and media you have in your data.
When the archive download is ready, Twitter will send you a notification and a link to your email so you can download your data.
After uploading, you need to upload the data to TweetDeleter. To download, open TweetDeleter and click “Download Archive” in the left sidebar.
Now click on the green Download button in the top right corner. This will open the file manager, select the file you downloaded and click the “Open” button.
This will download the data of all your tweets and you can filter retweets and delete as before. This process is slow and can even take days to delete all of your tweets. I also recommend the premium version of the app for quickly removing old retweets.

Delete future Retweets
With TweetDeleter we can delete our old retweets. But you can also remove your future retweets by setting a duration. For example, you can set the duration to 60 minutes and your retweets will be automatically deleted after 60 minutes of retweeting.
To delete your future retweets, open Twtools, select the clear RT option, and click OK on the pop-up notification.
Now set the duration of the retweet. You can set the duration from 60 minutes to 168 hours. Also, check the box next to “Remove retweets from my tweets” and click the “Allow” button.
Here you need to authorize the app with your Twitter account. Before logging in, check all the credentials Twtools can access from your Twitter account.
Once logged in, Twtools will scan retweets every 5 minutes. If he finds retweets after the set time, your retweets will be automatically deleted. You can also reopen Twtools to pause the service at any time in the future, or disable the service entirely again.

But if you want your account to always be free of your retweets, you can use Twtools, which deletes your tweets after a specified time.
