Scaling records

Before we get into setting up automatic recording for Zoom meetings, we need to understand how Zoom recordings work. There are 3 important points to consider when recording Zoom meetings.

How to auto-record Zoom meetings

If you frequently record your appointments, it is best to set up an appointment with automatic recording. To do this, click the “Schedule” button in the Zoom application.

Now in the meeting scheduling window, go down and click the “Advanced options” radio button.

In the advanced menu, check “Automatically record meeting on local computer.” This ensures that as soon as the meeting starts, it is recorded.

When the meeting is over, Zoom will open the location where the recordings are saved. Alternatively, you can also access your notes from the Appointments tab.

Where does Zoom store recordings?

By default, Zoom creates a local folder under documents to store recordings. You can access or change it in the Records tab in the zoom settings.

Closing words

Zoom has a lot of good tricks up its sleeve. For example, you can integrate Zoom with Slack and create meetings from Slack. Alternatively, you can also use third party apps like Krisp to make a silent video call on Zoom. If you have additional issues or questions about Zoom, let me know in the comments below.
