Free HQ Images You Can Use Without Linking to Source.
Yesterday I posted a video on Top 10 Technology Myths. And while I was filming this video, I needed images. High quality images that are relevant to my content and of course free.
Yes, I know there are some websites (like Flickr and Google Image Search) that offer high quality images for free. But there you have to link to the source. Do not misunderstand me. There is no problem with returning a value, but in some cases, such as in a video, this is not possible and you cannot edit it later.
So I had two options: either buy stock images from Shutterstock, or search for websites that offer high quality images for nothing in return. I choose the second option.
And after doing a little research, I found that quite a few websites have a huge collection of free, high quality images that don’t require you to link back. All of these websites offer:
- High quality / resolution images.
- Free images even for commercial use.
- No credit link / permission / attribution.
- There are no ads or watermarks in the image.

Unsplash is one of the best places for high resolution images. It will deliver ten photos in 10 days straight to your inbox.
All images are free, in high definition. But they are better suited for travel blog or photography niche. And since I have a tech blog, it’s useless to me.

# 3 Pixabay (my go-to destination)
These are my favorite sites. In fact, now I am even contributing to it. Remember the video I talked about at the beginning, well, I got most of the images from Pixabay.
They have a huge database of quality images. If you are looking for images for food, technology, travel, or whatever, you’ll probably find them on Pixabay.
Although there are no categories, you can use search images with keywords. The website follows a fair use policy, which means that you can do anything with the images, but you cannot claim ownership of the images. Fair enough.

I use this site for quality icons. Some of you might be thinking that these icons can be found with a simple Google search. But this site has many options.
Create Free Feature Image With Wordle
# 6 Wordle
Ok, this is not a free images site, but a web application. So instead of providing FREE images, you can use these services to create a word cloud from a pair of keywords. All you have to do is type in a word (or URL) and it will make some cool typographic text. You can also customize colors and positions.
The only drawback is that since this tool is built in Java, you cannot save images directly, but instead you need to take a screenshot. Or use Pablo to create quote / ad images

# 7 Download 75 free stock photos
Hubspot also offers 75 high quality free photos. All you have to do is fill out a simple survey. No credit link required. They get data from you and you get high quality images. Everyone is happy. However, I found that some of these images are used quite frequently on the web, so do a reverse Google search before downloading.
