In most cases, the Killer Ethernet driver that comes with your motherboard is a reliable Ethernet driver.
However, as with all drivers, you may occasionally have problems with it. If your version of the Killer Ethernet driver stops working, it could be due to an outdated driver or a recent network change that is causing unexpected behavior.

For this hotfix, you will need another device that can connect to the Internet and a reasonable way to transfer files to your computer. The easiest way is to use a smartphone and USB cable. You can also use a laptop and a USB stick.
uninstall problematic Ethernet driver
First, you must first uninstall the Ethernet Killer driver from your PC. To do this, follow the steps listed below.

- Step 1: Press the key Windows
- Step 2: Use the search box and type Device Manager
- Step 3: Click the appearing Device Manager
- Step 4. In Device Manager open the drop-down option Network adapters listed
- Step 5: Double-click Gigabit Ethernet Controller Killer E2xxx
- Step 6. In the new window that opens , click Driver tab
- Step 7. Finally, click U Set device button
- Step 8. Restart your computer so it is ready for the next steps.
Your network driver will be disabled. In the next step, you will need an additional device with an Internet connection.
install the new Ethernet driver for the Working Killer
Now that you have removed the old Killer Ethernet driver, you need to go online on a different device to download the new driver.
You will need to transfer the driver installation application to your computer after you download it, so make sure you have a data cable or USB stick.
To download the new driver, visit one of the following pages, depending on whether you have a 64-bit or 32-bit computer.

Click the Download button on the desired page. This is a link to the .EXE file. After downloading, transfer this file to the computer from which you originally uninstalled the driver.
Not sure which version is installed on your computer? Go back to your computer without the Internet and do the following:
- Press Windows key
- Find dxdiag
- Open dxdiag app
- On the System tab , look at the line Operating system .
- This information will tell you which version of Windows you have (32-bit or 64-bit)
On your new PC, just double-click the downloaded .EXE file and install.
Your network connection should be restored and you will be connected to the Internet through the new working Killer Ethernet driver.
