- Now select New Property.
- Enter a name for the property (for example, your website name or website URL) and select Show Advanced Options.
- Select the radio button to create a Universal Analytics resource.
- Then enter your website URL (including “wwwâ€) and select Create Universal Analytics Resource Only.
- The following information about your company. Click the Next button and enter all the details.
- After you have entered all your company information, click the Create button.
- You now have a tracking ID from Google Analytics! It will look like this: UA-999999999-0. Select and copy your tracking ID to your clipboard.
You are now ready to add the Tracking ID to your Squarespace site.
Connecting Your Squarespace Website to Google Analytics
