Music is what most people enjoy. Thus, making learning fun through hands-on experimentation will encourage playing with rhyme, sound and melody.

Coders and musicians have teamed up with Chrome and web audio, using freely available tools that let you use code to create sound.

The goal of the Chrome Music Lab is to give visitors the ability to visualize sound and touch it to see how it looks, learn how a melody works, create rhythms, and turn drawings into music.

The CML website has sections called Experiments that allow anyone of any age to learn how music works. Each experiment has a different focus, such as piano, composition, harmonics, voice spinner, and sound waves.

How does the Chrome Music Lab work?

Chrome Music Lab is an intuitive and simple music program. Bright and colorful details make it accessible and comfortable for people of all ages.

CML is open source so musicians and programmers can do their own experiments. Any user on any device can instantly open it and start playing, without waiting for the download and installation of the application.

The easier it is for someone to learn music, the more attractive it is for everyone to show curiosity, creativity and inspiration. Many experiments can only be carried out immediately and on the spot. This means that you will not be able to download, export or share your work.

Two experiments let you share, embed, and upload your creations. These two experiments are Song Maker and Melody Maker.

How to Create Ringtone Using Chrome Music Lab

Start by going to the CML website and clicking on the Melody Maker tab. You can see the name of each experiment by placing your cursor inside the block.
