Our 4 year old granddaughter loved this! she loved scanning everything and talking into the microphone – sending out messages to the ‘shoppers’!! We had a lot of play ‘food’ from a kitchen set, so we put the extra scan tickets on them so she could shop more at the ‘store’! Would recommend that you have extra items as well – it doesn’t come with a lot. The money and credit card are great and she likes opening the drawer with the key. We are having a blast playing with her. .
This is another great toy by Playkidiz! What a wonderful toy I love this so much my kids are playing with it every day it is so cute. This toy is a cash register and comes with play money, play coins, and little play foods both plastic and carboard. Also it has a scanner to scan the play food which has little ridges which the scanner picks ups and names each food. Overall I have never seen a toy like this with so many features I was so entertained for hours so much fun!My little one had no problem figure out how to play with it. And she actually learned numbers from playing with it. She couldn’t read or write number before getting it, now she can read the write all the number.Totally love this cash registry. I am pretty sure, there are few more years of play with it still! .
The best toy cash register around. Our three year old grandson loves it and has made it a key part of his restaurant. .
It was a gift for my 4 year old granddaughter, who after a week is still playing with it non stop. She love the products which is included and the microphone. .

My 3 old love it I bought it for him so he can have fun while doing is mathematicsperfect in his hand and he have no problem using it on his own .
These are a huge hit with my 5 year old and 2.5 year old. I’m glad I ordered 2 so we could avoid them fighting! .
This is NOT a 4-function calculator, it is a 5-function calculator, which means my daughter is not allowed to bring it to her SSAT test. Students with learning disabilities may qualify for a 4-function calculator and there is only one brand anywhere to be found and they PRICE GAUGE. This was going to be another choice for us, but it has that 5th function (percentage). We missed the return window by one day. .
Great, the grandkids love it .

3 – LeapFrog Chat and Count Emoji Phone, Black

We typically avoid battery operated toys because my kid turns into a zombie when she has one but we purchased this for an international trip. It was a hit. I appreciate that the screen is back lit so she can still see the graphics while in a dark car or plane. This play cell phone has two sound levels and neither are particularly loud- that’s a benefit, not a negative to me! I see a lot of complaints that this toy is too quiet. My husband and I don’t agree. It’s plenty loud enough for our little girl to hear it, and we can hear it from the front seat of our car. It’s not obnoxiously loud, so you wouldn’t necessarily hear it in a loud environment. Again, no complaints about that from us. I like that it has several interactive games on it. Now that we are back from our trip we limit it to car use and the toddler still asks to play with it all the time. .
This phone is good for a young toddler. It lights up and talks when you touch the buttons. There are different modes to choose from, including a guessing game and numbers. It tells the child what number to push and lights up the number. It seems very durable since my 2 year old has dropped it or thrown it a few times and it still works just fine. It has an on/off function and two volume choices. Overall he has liked it for short periods of time and I think when he gets a little older he will be a little more successful with matching the numbers, etc. .
Kids love toy phones. Especially this one, looks most like a real phone than other toys (purchased the black). I’ve seen reviews about it being to quite. But I haven’t seen that to be the case. In fact i keep switching it to the quiter option. .
It’s an educational children’s toy. It’s cute and is quiet as compared to most electronic toys. I don’t think it’s too quiet, I would say just the right volume I mean it’s a cell phone, back in the day we used to hold them up to our ears to talk to people and also it’s a kids toy. They have sensitive little ears. You don’t want to give them an excuse later in life to not hear you.I bought it as a gift for a 2 year old. He got excited that it looked like a real cell phone, but upon closer inspection I think he quickly realized it was not an iPhone and lost interest. The baby food pouches in the same gift bag were more exciting. Perhaps when he is less hungry or a little more into pretending, he will get more enjoyment from it.The phone has some songs and games about numbers and you can talk to Scout (the dog mascot of Leapfrog). Overall I think any kid who has not had the opportunity to touch a real smart phone would be into it, but for kids who have used a smart phone or tablet to play games this would probably not hold their interest. .

4 – Boley Kids Toy Cash Register – Pretend Play Educational Toy for Kids, Children, Toddlers – Cash Register with Electronic Sounds, Play Money, Grocery Toys, Working Calculator, and More – Pink

Great, heavy-duty product! I love that it comes with pretend money for playing store and for teaching math. This cash register comes with everything- the microphone, credit card, conveyor belt, scanner, scale, and everything you would want to teach your child about store and store manners. All three of my kids love it, an 8 year-old, 6 year-old, and a 4 year-old. Great for pretend play with my 4 year-old and certainly reinforces counting, coin and bill recognition for my older kids. This is certainly a money well spent for our family! .
This cash register has all the bells and whistles you could think of! We used to have another cash register from a bigger brand name but it was much simpler than this one from Boley. I would have to say, this cash register is probably most beneficial to kids 5+ and older toddlers. There are lots of different buttons and features that a young toddler might not figure out or understand. However, with that said. let’s start with the extra items included. There is some pretend cash, coins and credit card. There’s also a basket of pretend food boxes and milk cartons. I also have a set of smaller sized play fruits and veggies from Daiso and found that the little food items fit perfectly on the small conveyor belt and food scale! Some things that we particularly liked about this item:-Welcome, Thank You, and Bye Bye buttonsYou can press he bottoms or talk into the microphone and it’s like your own little supermarket stand!-Conveyor beltIt has quite an engine. haha. This belts revs up pretty loud and quickly. Prob not ideal for a baby under 1 to play with cause this thing spins fast.-Price scannerAgain, it’s like you’re actually at the market. makes for a good make believe play time if your kid loves the grocery storeOnly thing that was slightly bothersome about this was the packaging. The register is screwed on to the cardboard case on the bottom by plastic toy screws (not sure what they’re called). Usually you just twist it until it pops out, but the one we had wouldn’t budge so I had to rip the cardboard out to pop off those things. It doesn’t really have anything to do with the product itself, but just thought I’d mention it. .
I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying this. My daughter, 8, loves it. It is kinda small, but she doesn’t mind. She loves that the belt moves and that it makes the beeping sound for ringing things up.It has a little scale, a working calculator, a microphone (a big hit in our house) and a hand scanner. I just wish the cord for the hand scanner was longer and that the mic was longer, as well. .
Bought this for my 4 year old grand daughter who likes to play store. She opened up the box and I put the required batteries in. The digital display would not work, the credit card tab would only stay up at times, and the microphone worked on occasion. The scanner did beep and the track worked and the money drawer worked. After she saw it there was no way to then send it back because she wanted to play with it immediately so I am stuck with it. Needless to say I am very disappointed with wasting my money on this. .

5 – JOYIN My Learning Remote and Phone Bundle with Music, Fun, Smartphone Toys for Baby, Infants, Kids, Boys or Girls Birthday Gifts, Holiday Stocking Stuffers Present

I ordered these for my 8 month old. First and foremost, this is a great value. You get both the remote and phone for the price you would get one or the other anywhere else. Also, these are great quality. Better than I expected for the price. After purchasing I began reading the reviews and saw a few ( with video evidence ) that the number four is pronounced “ FO†and the weather button, when it does the cold weather it sounded like a woman moaning instead of shivering. The product must have been updated since those reviews because I watched the videos and that was definitely the case. They changed it so that the four button is pronounced “ FOUR†correctly and the shivering cold weather sound no longer sounds like a woman moaning and actually sounds like shivering. I took a video of me pressing all of the buttons on the phone and the remote and showing everything they do and showing the changes with the weather button and the number four ( that’s why I kept pressing the 4 so many times ) just so everyone knows they did fix those issues. Also, the phone isn’t as loud as the remote but it’s definitely loud enough to hear. The remote volume can be adjusted with the volume button but the phone is just one happy medium volume which is fine. My son LOVES these. He LOVES to steal my phone and tv remote so these are extra special for him. I honestly think he does realize that the phone is not a real phone but it definitely holds his attention. Great little toy and perfect gift for any baby/ toddler. Well made products, no stickers or anything that will come off or fade. Each requires 2 AA batteries that are held in with a screw so baby can’t take them out. Seriously great value here. My son and I are very happy with these. .
My daughter loves this remote, the phone she likes but not as much as the remote. The phone has barely any volume, if it loud in the room you can’t hear anything when baby presses the buttons. The only 2 things I don’t like about the remote is the “weather part†where it say it’s chilly it’s sounds like a woman Moaning. And the 4 it spins like it’s saying “foe†instead of “four†.
We got this as an x-mas gift for our 3 year old boy. My son has a fetish with remotes.GREAT PRODUCT! Not only a happy baby but a happy mommy too! When we change the channel he thinks he did it. It lights up and says numbers and channel up and down as well as volume. Pretty coo.One of my sons favorite toys! .
My baby loves to try and get my remote so I decided to get this for Christmas. He loves playing with it but I would have to agree that the phone part is much quieter than the remote. Also, on the remote , if you press (4) it does not sound like FOUR in English. It actually has an accent and sounds like FO. That’s my only complaint because I want my little one to learn correctly. If you don’t care about that then it’s a super cute little gadget for the baby. For the price I’d have to say it’s kept my baby occupied and that’s what I was wanting. .

6 – Melissa & Doug Abacus
Top Reviews
I purchased this for my six year old and she looked at it like I gave her a worm. But after I showed her how to use it, whenever she gets math homework she brings it with her – I’m happy she is actually using it. It looks exactly as shown, but what you can’t see is that it is well made and substantial. .
My 7 year old daughter still uses her fingers for simple addition even though she is in a gifted math program and has moved on to and understands more complex math. Of course she doesn’t have enough fingers! So I ordered this abacus, not sure if she would even understand how to use it. Well she uses it daily and it is a great visual to really see what each number looks like and why we would add or subtract to problem solve. She even has learned some simple multiplication (3×3, 2×4, and 2×11 were the problems she had to solve.) Times (mulitiplication) really gave her anxiety, but with this abacus, she really could see 3 three times, 2 four times, and 2 eleven times, as well as allowing her to easily see how multiplication was a communitive property. No more multiplication anxiety! I love this abacus. We have only used it in this way so far, but I am really looking forward to reading the directions and checking out some YouTube videos as another reviewer suggested. I chose this abacus based on all of the positive reviews and am happy with it! It is strong and sturdy and serves it’s purpose. I have a 2 year old that loves moving the beads back and forth and it is not flimsy. .
I love love Abacus, there is a reason it was the first tool used to teach Math. I really really wish I had gotten this instead of wasting money on other products that I have never touched again. I should have purchased this when my kids were 2.5-3 years old!!! I am having a hard time teaching addition and subtraction and other concepts to my 4.5 years old boys, and this is perfect because it teaches all these concepts, encourages using logic, and my boys’ being visual, they respond better to this. Highly recommend. .
This is a great novelty item and toy. My husband is a science and math geek so he definitely wanted our little one to have an abacus. At 1 years old, she is not doing any Math problems. However, she does like to move the beads back and forth, which is good practice for dexterity. Melissa and Doug make great toys (check out their puzzles and food items) and to be honest I’m surprised this didn’t cost more. The base is sturdy – she’s used it now for several months and nothing has come undone. She can easily grab it and carry it around as well. The second pic can give you a sense of the size as well. .

My granddaughter who is 18 months loved this little piano. The price is great. There is various options to use it. .
Bought this for my 9 month old. She’s in the beginning stages of learning to crawl and walk. Making noise encourages her to practice. My 11 and 8 year old also have fun playing with it. The sounds come out crisp and clear. Volume is easy to adjust by pushing on the volume up and down buttons. Even the animals make noise when pressed. It’s thin and rolls up easily to be put away without taking up much space. It does not come with batteries so you will need to buy some. .
Very nice! My son loves it a lot â¤ï¸ Bought this to have something he will jump on instead of jumping into our sofa! lol. Finally has some time to sit and relax. The sound is good, its sensitive which is nice. Really good quality for the price. Its totally worth it for those who have toddles who loves jumping and walking around. This will make them stay in one place. Happy that i made the purchase! .
