As described, arrived promptly, well-packed.The TI-82 is a fine basic graphing calculator. It’s unique strength is that it’s what high schools use and is the one allowed on SAT tests. If you’re not buying for these reasons, you can get much more calculator for your money with more recent models (or a smartphone app). One with RPN is well worth the five minutes it takes to learn, if you’ll be doing serious calculations – faster and less error-prone. .
Syracuse Calculus sold me a calculator that A) the case slid off and B) had tens of dead pixels down 2 entire columns on the calculator. Would not buy again from the company .
Calculator was described as new in open box. Key #2 and #3 were inoperative.Worthless waste of money. Dishonest vendor. AVOID! .
I love it. I have not been able to use most of the features. I bought this for my son. I use it now. I love the way it repeats the # I typed on top. I know exactly what I entered. The only downer is it does not have comma separating the thousands, millions. I have to be extra careful in typing my zeros. The numbers are very clear to the eyes I appreciate this because I have a financial calculator that the first digit to the right becomes blurry under the light. I stop using that because in test, the last digit counts. I gave it a four stars, because I have not have the chance to use all the features. According to my son and his professors, this is a great calculator. .
