Great calculator! My old basic calculator only gave me decimal notation answers, when my Professor required fraction answers, and only allowed scientific calculators, not graphing calculators. I needed a calculator that could convert decimals to fractions, while still being a scientific calculator. It works perfectly, exceed everything I needed it for. I used this in Elementary Algebra 1 & 2, intermediate algebra, and college algebra. I thought I was going to recieve the gray color, but I was sent a green/blue calculator. However, the color is not what I purchased the calculator for. .
This calculator was weird at first. But the more that I use it and become familiar with it, the better this calculator is. I purchased it for my actuary exams and subsequent preparation. I think as any purchaser familiarizes them self with this calculator they too will grow fond of it!(PS: I have a BS in math and am familiar with other calculators/ software for computing – this is quickly becoming my favorite hands down!) .
Great calculator, bought this one with the BAii plus professional for the actuary exams. The Ti30xsv has a very clear display easy to push buttons and you can scroll up and down to look at past problems. easy to use and a clip on case with grip feet. The only problem I found and not a great problem is when you clip on the case to the front it presses on the bottom keys for a moment but other than that a very useful calculator that you can you for cal1, cal2. cal3, phys, chem. .
