TI had a decent product and updated the model with an inferior one. The buttons are smaller and less responsive, and there are no pads on the bottom two corners of the back side to prevent the calculator from sliding around on the table when you punch buttons. Apparently, TI forgot to test their product with a representative sample of the people who would use it, so the experience is incredibly distracting when you need to make fast, accurate, and precise calculations, especially in an exam environment (morons!). .
The product arrived as planed, it’s important to know that I am a lawyer making his way to become a commercial notary public, so I needed a calculator capable of computing value of money and multiple cash flow entrances in order to estimate the value of businesses , and this little fellow is perfect for the job, plus it looks like a normal calculator, I mean it has no graphs and big pixel screens which is important because in my case those calculators are prohibited to use during the examinations. Feels realy well constructed, solid and has a nice clicking touch on the keys. .
This calculator is great for my classes when doing financial calculations, however, I cannot go too fast or else the buttons may not register with the calculator. This is my only complaint. .
It works, but the keys are very unresponsive. You would not want to take this to CFA exams. .
