Bought this as I really like the large easy to read display. It replaced a Casio DR-270TM which I used daily at work for 6 years before the keys started not working all the time. I was apprehensive about the auto off but all you have to do is tap the CA/on button for it to turn back on. I was worried I’d have to use the switch to turn it off and back on. Not the case and it is actually a nice feature as usually just left the old one on 24/7. .
Layout and functions were almost the same as my 15-year-old Casio which finally bit the dust. I use this a lot, so I wanted the heavy-duty model. The key feel was lighter than my old model. It took a while to get used to. Paper tape is std 2 1/4 inches. Only issue I found (mentioned by other reviewers is that the calculator shuts off after I think 1/2 hour of no use. (May be 1 hour – I haven’t checked that closely.) It’s a bit annoying and don’t understand while that unnecessary feature was added. Otherwise, it’s what I wanted. Still worth the 5-star rating. .
