Best PDF to Word Converter Online (Free Without Email).
I have recently reviewed my resume making small changes here and there. I use MS Word to edit my document files like everyone else, but I convert it back to PDF when I need to forward it. Unfortunately I was unable to find the original document file and had to look for an online PDF to Word converter that was free and worked without email registration.
While there is no shortage of online PDF converters, most of them asked you for an email address or fluent text formatting when converting a PDF to a document file. But don’t worry, we’ve done the hard work for you. In this article, we have compared some of the best web apps for converting PDF to Word file. Let’s start.

Convert PDF files to Word online for free
1. Convert PDF files for free
Free PDF Convert is a PDF to Word converter that works without any email registration. I started by uploading my resume in PDF format. The file was quickly converted and ready to download. The conversion went well, all formatting remained unchanged.
There is only one caveat. For free users, there is a time limit of 60 minutes per conversion. So while it was good enough for me, not everyone would love their paid plans. Let’s see a few more options. Although you can get around this limitation by using another computer or VPN to change your IP address.

2. PDF online
PDF Online is a free tool that can be used to convert PDF files to RTF format, which can later be edited with MS Word. RTF stands for Rich Text Document, which is a proprietary Microsoft format so there is nothing to worry about. After converting the PDF, PDFOnline will show a web copy with a download link.
PDFOnline has done a good job. It was accurate with the same font type and size. The underlines under the hyperlinks were thicker than usual, but that didn’t really matter. Easy to fix. It also comes with a desktop tool, but it’s paid.

3. Online transfer
Online Covert offers some additional features like OCR support. This means you can read and convert text directly from an image to a Doc file. There is also support for cloud storage. You can select files from Dropbox and Drive.
There is also language support. You can choose the original language, which in my case was English.
The tool is slow but accurate. The only issue was the font size. It was much smaller than the original, but again, this is a minor fix. After conversion, the file will be downloaded directly to your system.
Please note that the maximum file size is limited to 100 MB for free and unregistered users. For most users, this should be enough.

4. Free online transfer
Convert Online Free does not support cloud storage or OCR, but does a great job of converting PDF files to Word documents. There is a 50 MB file size limit for free users.
There is also support for many other file formats that can be useful in other situations. I haven’t tested them, but judging by the quality of their PDF to Word tool, I think they’ll be good. The file will be downloaded automatically after the conversion is complete.
If the conversion takes too long or doesn’t work due to server overload, they have provided an alternate Mirror link. Please try this. Good idea.

5. Go4Convert
You can choose between Doc format and Docx as output, just like in the previous tool. It supports drag and drop function. Apart from the usual boot from disk option, there was also an option to boot from the Internet. Here you can enter the url of the file.
The result was as expected, without changing the font size. The format was unchanged and the tool was very fast. The file was downloaded to my disk automatically.
The key difference between Go4Convert and the other tools mentioned is that there is no file size limit. You can also convert large files and it’s pretty fast. Overall, if you’re looking for a free online PDF to Word converter for large files, this is the best option.

6. Soda PDF
Interesting name. The user interface has been the most professional so far with drag and drop functionality. A desktop version is available if you want to work offline, but I haven’t tested it. There is cloud storage support for Dropbox and Drive.
After conversion, you can either download the file or send it directly via email. It can be useful in a situation when you are working on a public PC.
Although the font type and size were correct and the accuracy was good, there was something wrong with the document. The spacing between lines and words was different, which gave the document a different look. Not cool.

7. Free online OCR
Free online PDF to Word converter with OCR includes image-to-text support. The process remained the same, but this time the results were different. The type and size of the font were different and too small.
It was easy to fix, but I wasn’t happy that all of my hyperlinks were removed. A resume is a small document so it shouldn’t take long, but what if it’s a large document? This can be problematic.
