Easy to use compared to others. Instructions were a bit difficult to follow due to the amount of things this can do. Wheel moves easily and is very accurate. I am not sure if the description says it or not but it comes with a cool fitted decently rugged case for it. I will be returning the neoprene case because I won’t need it. Unless you decide to put it in a tool pouch, I can’t see the neoprene case as necessary. .
This works like a dream for the take off of architect’s plans. We use it for bidding jobs and then again when we’re ordering materials to verify the original take off. It’s smooth and doesn’t skip if you move to fast like some of the others we’ve used in the past. Perfect, thank you! .
When we go through a set of blueprints to calc foundation costs, it’s usually a lot of scale ruler and numbers. With this gadget, zoom zoom zoom! It’s wonderful! I don’t know about durability, because we’ve only had it a month, but we’ve used it twice, and it was a real time saver. .
The Scale Master Pro digital measuring tool arrived promptly and in excellent condition. The tool performs as described in the user manual, and seems to be quite accurate. It’s easy to use, the display is easy to read, an the custom scale setting makes it very versatile. Whether measuring distances on a drawing, or on a Map, this tool seems to performs well. Anyone that works with drawings, or Maps and needs to figure out undefined distances can do so. All you need to know is that the drawing is drawn to a linear scale, and know a defined distance on the drawing (example, 1 inch = 20 feet). Once you set up the custom scale calibration on the Scale Master, you can measure any distance on you drawing. I measured distances on some of my known CAD drawings and compared them to the actual distances and found the Scale Master very accurate. Nice tool. .

Slippery plastic parts fail to hold the measurement, which makes transfer from one proportion to another with accuracy almost impossible. Two sharp sticks and a rubber band would work just as well. Now I must purchase a more expensive and efficient design. .
Easy to use. My problem is getting in the habit of flipping it. Will take a little time but it is easy to use. Also there are videos on using the product. .
Arrived promptly. Packaged properly. A bit flimsy, but ok for the price point. I use this when I draw, and also have my art student use this. Very helpful when using a small source picture, when goal is to draw it on a larger scale. .
