Bought this keyboard as a cheap mechanical I could pimp up with steampunk keycaps; which looked great, by the way! (See the pics) But was most pleasantly surprised by the quality and design for the price. I’m not kidding, close your eyes and type and you can’t tell the difference between an actual cherry-MX blue and this keyboard. The switches (the keys) feel almost the same, and they are LOUD! Just like the cherry keyboards. I was barely through this review before the police had to come cuz of the noise complaints. Let’s talk about the LED back lights; one on each switch, and bright! Oh yeah, they are bright. Paint on the ceiling is fading, and I have a major sunburn on my palms. I recommend cranking up the techno when you plug in the board cuz it starts up with a trance inducing light show. It’s a mirror-ball with benefits, and for the price, given this is a fully mechanical keyboard, you won’t go wrong. .
This is a great keyboard for anyone looking for a new gaming keyboard. It is a 87 key, meaning that it does not have a number pad, but this saves a ton of space on the side of the keyboard and makes it feel almost most like a gaming controller rather than a keyboard. It is pretty responsive and have no issues with ghosting or keys not being pressed. The key caps are all nice ABS plastic and should hold up to some abuse. The keys and the switches can both be replaced and there are a couple replacements included in the box. The keys have a slight swoop on them which makes typing smooth and reduces stress on your fingers. The keyboard construction is very solid. It is full metal and can really take a beating. I rage quit, and smashed this thing against my desk with zero repercussions. This thing should last for a while. The lighting is pretty decent and has a ton of modes available to type with. It does get pretty bright so I tend to keep it on the second to highest setting. It is a chroma keyboard so each key can light up any color. There is no defined colors for key rows making personalization easy.Overall this keyboard is a joy to type on. I liked it so much, I actually just returned this one to get the bigger model so I can use it for daily typing and not just gaming. Very impressed by these new value mechanical keyboards. .
i really like this keyboard. im typing the review up on it right now and its absolutely delightful. its hard to describe exactly what is so nice about these sorts of keyboards relative to the normal rubber dome types, its kind of something you need to try for yourself to understand. best i can compare it to is like a power switch on like old tv’s where you pressed it in and you could feel it clicking into an on position, imagine that sort of tactile feeling on every single keystroke. its amazing. the board is really solid, it doesnt flex at all, and is fairly weighty for its size. the feet on the back are really nice too, they snap up and down with authority and have nice rubber feet on them, there is no way this will move around on your desk unless you deliberately move it. the colored lights are a nice gimmick if youre into that sort of thing, i have mine on the setting where they light up everytime you press a key which i think is probably the least distracting while still being sort of interesting.now onto the cons, its very loud, louder than i was even expecting and i was expecting it to be loud! louder than the old ibm keyboards you may remember as a child. definitely the loudest keyboard ive ever used in my life. the whole keyboard is very bare bones, if you took the cover off a normal keyboard and just had the innards exposed thats sort of what you have here with the entire key and switch assembly mounted onto the surface. the backplate turns into a reflector essentially transmitting out as much sound as possible. its fine for me, but i could imagine it would be really annoying to anyone else if you have to share your living space. the key caps themselves arent the best either, theyre thin plastic and very low contrast at least on the white model i got, im not crazy about the font either but its not like you look at them often while youre actually using it. also one of the big pros of the form factor is the lack of the numpad, but i keep finding myself missing that. holding down control and hitting the plus sign to change the scale of the font is something that i didnt realize how much i used until i didnt have it. the numpad is also just way superior for inputting numbers, and after using it for so many years im very bad at using the top row for doing anything but 1-5. i didnt detract a point for that though but its something to consider if your making the leap to mechanical at the same time as switching to 10 keyless. the reason im giving it only 4 stars is because the one i got was somewhat dinged up on arrival. i put up pictures to show how one side has a bend in the tip of the aluminum plate, its not a big deal because you can barely tell while using it, but the box was in perfect condition on arrival so it had to happen somewhere at the factory. not worth the hassle of returning for something so inconsequential, but qc might be a concern with these.you can see how long this is getting though, and the keyboard really does make it such that every key press is fun. so overall its great for the price, provided you can live with the noise. .
At first I had annoying ping sound coming from the metal board but It disappeared after 10 minutes of usage. Keyboard position is a bit high compared to my previous keyboard but I think I can get used to it. .

When it arrived it arrived in a good packaging. Very easy to set up. The buttons are big so they’re easy to see. Pros you can put someone on hold and it plays music so the other person on the line doesn’t feel to bad. Cons you can only connect one phone line to this so it won’t work if you’re trying to have multiple phones around the house. One of the main reason I returned it otherwise I was pretty happy with it. Also when you put yourself on speaker it’s harder for the person on the other line to hear you. .
Needed these for basic phone needs for my employees at several different buildings. Works great for what we need it for. Highly recommend if your need is the same .
