I bought this for my 3 year old and he absolutely loves it!There are so many cool features on this. What a great purchase! .
My granddaughters (ages 2 and 3) loved the cash register! .
My grandkids love playing with this cash register! They can scan their groceries and prices come up, the working microphone is just right for calling for a “cleanup on aisle 3â€.My 2 year old grandson enjoys dropping the coins in the slots and seeing them go through the register. The cut apart fatuity is fun for them also, and totally safe! We are all delighted with the quality and fun! .
This cash register is great! My 3 year old Grandson loves it plays with it all the time .

The product came quickly and on time and in the cute little box pictured above. It has plastic inserts that each toy comes in but it’s not something I would keep for storage because it’s so flimsy so all of the pieces just get thrown in the box which isn’t really an issue to me. The box is sturdier than I expected though and we may end up using it for something else down the line.My daughter is 20 months old and loves Doc McStuffins so I figured this would be fun for her. The pieces are all appropriately sized and there’s nothing too small I have to worry about her choking on.The beeper, cell phone and stethoscope are all battery powered (cell phone does not come with batteries though, 2 AAA) but the stethoscope only works some of the time which again, doesn’t really bother me or my daughter but it’s why I’m giving this 4 stars and not 5 stars. It’s supposed to make either a coughing noise or a heartbeat noise but the coughing kind of sounds like giggling (my daughter thought it was laughing, I had to tell her it was coughing lol). The blood pressure cuff doesn’t fill with air but when you squeeze the pump the dial spins around which my daughter loves! Although you do kind of need to squeeze hard and it barely fits my wrist but fits her arm perfectly. The bandaids fit her great as well, and can bend a little to fit mine. The thermometer has a little dial you can spin as well with the degrees in F and C. The shot is spring loaded and fun for my little one to press (although it does take her two hands at this point in time lol). Everything else is very child friendly and honestly great for any child interested in doctor stuff or even to become less scared of the doctor. If my review helped you please click the button that says “helpful”! Thank you so much 🙂 .
Very pleased with this purchase! Comes with lots of accessories and my kids love playing doctor! The blood pressure cuff has velcro so it will stay on the arm and if you squeeze it the air will make an arrow rotate around pointing to different numbers which my girls love the interactive play! The cell phone takes 2 A A batteries (not included) and every button makes beeping noises or ringing noises! The thermometer has a dial that you turn and it has different numbers that show up.The pager (my kids have no idea what this is lol) makes noises when you press the buttons. The stethoscope alternates between a cough noise and a heart beating noise when you press the button. The shot has a spring in it so when you press it down it will pop back up instead of having to pull it back up yourself.Everything feels super durable and I am very pleased with the quality in this set. Everything that required batteries had them included except for 2 AA batteries in the cell phone. .
I love when pretend sets make an effort to try to look authentic and to really try to educate young kids on what the different tools are used for. This set does not get even close. The quality and rendering of each tool is so poor that at times you can barely make out what the tool is supposed to represent. The speculum is just a plastic cone with a hole at the tip. The reflex hammer is a piece of hard plastic. For other tools you question how they were thinking they should be used. The band-aids are made of hard plastic that only fits around my son wrist as a very-painful-to-put-on bracelet. The thermometer, the stethoscope, and the sphygmomanometer (to measure the blood pressure) are simply bad. They don’t have any logic in the way they operate that would help you teach a young kid what they are used for.I was expecting more from a Learning Resources toy.On the plus side, it comes in a easy to store carrying case. .
We gave this to our 5 year old grand-daughter and she loved it. Pink is her favorite color so she liked it even before she opened it but even more so when she say how many pieces there were. One of her favorite Christmas gifts and she had to “treat” everyone in the family for various ailments. Her 7 year old cousin wants one too. The case is sturdy and the instruments seem well made. .

My 3yo son has been on a “grocery store” imaginary place kick lately, and we had everything to act it out: food, shopping cart, and even his play kitchen. We figured he should probably have an actual cash register instead of the kitchen tool he was using as a “price scanner.”This. Register. Is. AWESOME. It has both an imaginary play mode to do all the basic functions you would expect. There are also learning games, too: Counting, identifying coins, and some others. Both the included credit card and discount coupon cards are pretty cool, too. All of the sounds are very realistic – all that’s missing is a “Please place your items in the bagging area” line.We often joke that this register must be from Whole Foods, since it randomizes prices – and they always seem to be ridiculously high! Definitely worth the price: high quality with lots of playtime and learning options. .
I was hesitant to buy this cash register because of the negative reviews, but decided to give it a try. It was a mistake. The cash register worked for one day, then began to malfunction. The cash register began to constantly beep and chirp and the lights flickered. When a button was pressed, it would start to talk, but then become garbled and start the beeping and flickering. The batteries were brand new and I tried using the reset button, but it didn’t make a difference. It is now packaged back up to be returned. I’ve purchased many toys by this brand before and have not been disappointed, but I guess I’ll try to find a different brand cash register. .
Ordered this on March 18 for my grandson’s birthday on May 1st (today). When it arrived, I opened the shipping box it came in to make sure the cash register was not broken. Did not even take it out of the plastic wrap. Big mistake!!Today my grandson is about to come over. I pulled it out of the box, unwrapped the plastic and put the batteries in. All ready. But guess what? No sound at all! Batteries are installed lcorrectly. I tried resetting. Nothing! I was am disappointed I’ve been promising my grandson I would find a fun cash register because he loves to play store. I can’t see any phone numbers on the learning resources manual to call them!! My window to return ended on April 18! Now I have no present and no time to go out! What a disappointing and expensive lesson! Zero stars, although Amazon makes you give at least one! .
A little difficult for my 4 year old last year but he still loved playing ” Giuseppe’s pizza with us, taking orders and helping Giuseppe ( grandmama) make the pizza ( several Melissand Doug Felt Mix and Match Pizza sets). I expect as he gets older he will become more adept and savvy with the register. I like that when the customers come ( pop) he has to ask how much change so learning disguised as lots of fun. Not a toy kids would play with by themselves. .

Both my daughter and son love this!!!! The toy requires about 15 mins of assembly and preparation. You will need two AA batteries. The register is made of a solid thick plastic material and the functions are great. You have a microphone to speak into, a working calculator to add up amounts. There’s also paper money and coins that are included, as well as a credit card. The toy includes UPC code stickers, and this makes not really fun.Lastly, there are plastic food items that are included. The plastic items have no odor, very important.Great overall fun toy. .
Cash register has never been so interesting at all! We used to brought another cash register from a bigger brand name but it was much simpler than this one. I love that it comes with pretend cash and coins for playing supermarket and for teaching math. There are lots of different buttons and function that attract kids.Something that we particularly liked about this item:-Price scannerThis might is the best scanner I have ever seen! It comes with a stick of many different barcode that you can paste on the accessories. And you the scan the stick on the accessories and different prices will show on the screen.-goods buttonsYou can press he bottoms and the register will read the word of the button picture. That teaches my kid about the word and new things.-MicrophonePress the microphone button and get close to the microphone, it will amplified what your kid said. My son love to pretend supermarket with this, sometimes he even sing a song with it.Another thing I have to mention is the extra items included. Hamburger, French fries, fruit, disc, veggies, cash, coins, credit card. All these little things better satisfied our little kids and allow him to play a longtime in various way. .
Pros: This is my younger siblings favorite toy. It comes with fake money, Credit card, even scanner and scanning stickers, a lot of pretend food items, like hams burgers, French fries. It teaches the kids the value of money, teaches them how scanning works.Cons: The fake coins that it cane with, my 2 years old sibling put it in his mouth. They were bigger than actual coins so not as dangerous but still a choking hazard. I took the coins away. But, overall a great toy teaching the kids a lot of basic skills and keeps them occupied. .
This is a great toy for kids as young as 2 up to elementary age! As an educator, I’m always looking for educational toys that aren’t just screen time. This cash register allows for imaginative play, mathematical skills, and social interactions so it’s a win in this mama’s book! It has a functioning calculator on it, a working microphone, a scale, and a working scanner which my little guy likes the most! We put the barcodes on various items from the toy food the set came with and he can scan the item to “ring up†the price. This does not come assembled, it will likely take you 10-15 mins to put together (which i was glad I knew from reading the reviews- nothing is worse than an impatient toddler waiting for a toy to be allowed to be played with!). The play food that comes with this make a great addition to our play kitchen as well! .

Pennies register wrong! I bought this specifically to be used with the Learning Resources Pretend & Play Teaching Cash Register. It claimed to work with this item but the pennies are all wrong. The cash register says all the pennies are dimes. Of course this is confusing when my child is playing the games where it asks him to put in a specific amount. He puts in the correct change and it says “oops .that is incorrect”. The dollar bills are also not as realistic looking as the ones that came with the cash register. They are white instead of green. My son wants to keep them to play with but DO NOT BUY THIS if you are wanting to use it with the Pretend & Play Teaching Cash Register. They cannot be used with the automatic games since the pennies don’t register correctly. .
This is working great for helping my 5 year old learn to use money. It looks so realistic! Debating whether or not to buy another 3 packs so we can have 100 pennies (only 30 pennies in the pack. 20 quarters, dimes and nickels. I think 20 $1 and 10 $5, $10, and $20. But this is just from memory, don’t take my word for it.) I think it’s a great quality, thin enough to feel realistic but does not tear too easily. Great value in my opinion. .
If you ordered the cash regisiter don’t by this.they neglected to mention it comes with it. I kept the one I ordered and am trying to teach the grandchildren the value of the coins. funny how they think the value of oney is more when it is a coin. Ah, the magic of coins throughout the centuries. .
I love these! I bout a money game for my kids and these coins were in it. I bought more because the coins look so real I kept taking them out to use for teaching money in my class. The bills look great too! I think it’s important to make them look real because kids need to be able to really recognize the coins as they appear with real money so they aren’t confused. .

Wow! So happy I found this cash register. It is very realistic cash register with scale on a side. It comes with small set of shopping cart and grocery products (milk, water, carton boxes). A huge plus is money (dollars, euro, coins and credit card). When you slide the card, it makes beep sound 🙂 The button to open a register is the hit! Love it! .
The cash register has been popular with our toddler. The register has a scanner, a microphone, and buttons for specific items, as well as a calculator, and they all make different noises. It comes with coins, cash, credit card and some food items. .
My son loves this toy. It has food that come with it you can scan. He loves all the sounds it makes and you can actually talk on the speaker. I like the fake money that comes with it too. .
Great pre-k cash register for learning! My 4 year old loves this toy. Comes in great packaging for gifting as well unlike other toys from amazon. .

This was a gift for my daughter. She’s always adored playing cashier. It was exactly as described. I probably should have paid more attention to the dimensions, as it was smaller than I expected. But she loves it and that’s what matters. .
I bought this cash register for my 2-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it so much. It is super cute and very sturdy. We pretend to play customer and store clerk. She asks me what I want to purchase, rings it up and runs my fake credit card. This seems to be her favorite toy. .
I thought this would be a regular size cash register. It is Extremely TINY!!! It is so small my 2 year old granddaughter can’t even play with it. The buttons are tiny the play money is tiny. It is not worth the money. Spend your 17 dollars on something bigger! .
My baby is keen to have a cashier kit when she saw that in the grocery. But that one was a little broken, I want to but her a new one.She is excited to get it, can’t wait for days to receive it. Finally we got it, It is a cute cashier kit, now she plays with it for 3 days and she has not been tired of it.It is not big, doesn’t take up much space, so easy to put away. .

much smaller and chintzier than I expected .
Cute and my son loved it, however, the money is tiny. :/ I would rather have purchased another set with larger money. Think doll size. .
No vale lo que cuesta. En mi opinión pague $50 dólares por ella cuando la vi la regresé y preferà comprar una de $30 dolares que venÃa más completa .
My son loves to play grocery store with his grandma, this is a perfect accompaniment to their play time! .

Love this cash registry. And it works well with the fake cash I got from Target. The only complain is that there are only tree compartments for the cash. And cash come with $1, $5, $10, $20, and $100. And there is no place to store the card. By the way, the card slot work with any cards you have. The registry itself is pretty sturdy. The reason I got this one is we had played with the same one in some children’s museum. They are still working fine after days and days of play.My little one is only 4. And she has no problem figure out how to play with it. And she actually learned numbers from playing with it. She couldn’t read or write number before getting it. As soon as she got it, she hit the buttons to put in the number and ask for a pencil so she can write down the numbers on the papers that came with it. Now she can read the write all the number.Totally love this cash registry. I am pretty sure, there are few more years of play with it still. Now whenever we have little visitors, this is one of the most popular toy to be played with. .
This is the perfect play cash register to get. It has everything I was looking for: It’s sturdy and high quality. It doesn’t need batteries. (The solar power works well even in low light.) It is a perfect WORKING calculator. The buttons make a tiny little beep when you push them. (just enough sound to be satisfying but not annoying for the adults!) It comes with a set of play money (coins and bills) that are perfect. The drawer is the right size for actual-sized bills as well. And best of all when you hit the “open” button the drawer slides out with a very satisfying “ChaChing!” I have a 2 and a half year old who loves imaginative play and I wanted to find a cash register to play ‘grocery store’. I can already tell that this register is going to be some of the best money I’ve ever spent in terms of $/Hours of playtime. I rarely write reviews but this cash register was so perfect for so little money that it inspired me to want to support this company. .
I bought this for my four year old granddaughter and she likes playing with it. It’s so real it’s almost not really a toy. The solar calculator really works so maybe it will grow with her for learning math and lemonade stands or garage sales. But I then found a youniverse cash register at a garage sale and it has such fun features like a scanner that says random prices, a microphone that really magnifies your voice, a total button, and talking hello and goodbye and other things. So for the money I think she would have preferred a more toy like one. It does make a sound when the drawer open but that’s the only sound perk. Maybe this one would be better for an older child or for a parent that doesn’t want extra noise. .
I purchased this register after my child played with a well loved one at an ECFE classroom. I do not know how old the one in the classroom is, but it looked a bit older and still in great condition. I love this toy! The kids love to pretend with their register that they are at Target and buying their toys. The toy comes with different pretend currency in bills & coins, and the detail for the currency is great. We have played counting with the money, as well as using the calculator part of the register. The drawer opens smoothly and doesn’t have much for annoying sounds or songs. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it! .

Bought this for my 5 years old daughter, she absolutely loves this.Perfect play money and it comes with way more than I thought it would! Perfect for the kids to play store and learn the concept of money to pay for things. There is some pretend cash, coins and credit card. There’s also a basket of pretend fruits, food boxes , milk carton and everything you would want to teach your child about store and store manners. it’s also have the credit card reader with lights and sounds and the scanner that beeps and lights!!! my daughter clicks every button on the cash register for every item she charges, which makes her really happy.I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Well worth the price. .
Much, much smaller than expected; probably should have noticed the package dimension a little closer (no product dimensions shown). Great large advertisement photo, makes you think the items are larger than they really are.The money drawer doesn’t allow enough open space to place the play money included. .
Cute register set, even comes with a scanning machine. I didn’t realize it came with play food and cart, so that was a bonus. Comes with fake money, one bill is $25, which I thought was funny. Tossed the coins since we have a little one in the house and they were small pieces. Cute addition to our kitchen for our 4 year old. I like that it swipes the credit card and dings as well. The battery slot came with its own tiny screwdriver, which is handy bc a lot of kids toys you have to run around and find something to open it. .
The register and scanner are super neat and my daughter loves them! The piece that you put credit card in and it spins the $amount could be better and the basket of food is soooo small that it won’t work with all her other play food. It was kind of laughable how small the basket and food was. Otherwise great register! It was worth the money for just the scanner and register alone! .

12 – Fisher-Price Classic Toys – Retro Cash Register – Great Pre-School Gift for Girls and Boys
Top Reviews
This got one star because you can’t give zero stars. It wasn’t even completely out of the box before it broke. Just super cheaply made. I ended up and bought a 70’s/80’s one off eBay. Don’t buy this product and tell Fisher Price to quit cheaping out and ruining nostalgic toys. .
My kids love this item but I was disappointed in the quality. My mother has saved all of my Fisher-Price toys from when I was young and these toys are the first ones my children pick to play with but the quality of Fisher-Price toys is not the same as it was 30 years ago. The plastic feels lighter and the coins get jammed in the slots regularly. It is still a great toy and my kids don’t know any different but I remember the old toy so I am disappointed. .
This is very poorly made and they changed the concept of the toy. A child does not have to match the color of the coins with the item/button to get it to work and by changing the color of the drawer to blue it doesn’t match the color of the sale button and the handle that opens the drawer. I was VERY disappointed in this toy. I have the original and would love to have more of that design and quality to give my grandchildren. really glad i only bought one not the three I needed. .
This is a cute cash register. I’m sure my kids will love it. My main reason in writing this review is to let everyone know that there is only 6 coins included. You can actually see it on the packaging in the picture, but the description clearly says 9 coins. I don’t know that 3 coins will be a deal breaker for anyone, but to be clear, only 6 are included. .

5yo and 3yo love this toy! It comes with several food items to be rung out, which surprisingly are made out of durable plastic (we’ve had some that crumple easily if stepped on). It also comes with lots of paper money and plastic coins. It also has a credit card to swipe. The scanner beeps and the cash register displays numbers. The calculator on the register works, too. .
This is a quality teaching toy at a great price. My daughter loved playing store with this and learned her money denominationsIt promotes pretend play, sorting, counting and $/coin values. .
Like other reviewers, I was confused as to why everything was in English but the register spoke Spanish. And since there were zero directions with the kit, I had no idea where to turn. I just started pushing buttons. On the debit card reader, there are two red buttons, push the top bottom and then the bottom button, and it will switch languages. My kids enjoy this – I only wish the register was a little bigger so play money we already have could be used. The coins are great but the dollars are very small. .
This is a very cute item. If it didn’t speak, I might have kept it. The card reader is very cute. The tray and money are good for little hands. The grocery items are of okay quality, enough for young kids not to care about. The calculator is functional, and the beeping scanner keeps kids playing. However, each button has a single phrase. The red arrow just says please wait. Over and over again. All the phrases are over excited and just annoying. It comes with a Spanish setting, but with only three phrases, it’s not going to help your kid learn another language at all. The scanner has a clever feature: every time you press it, a dollar amount appears on the calculator screen. When you hit the equals button, the accurate total appears from all the randomized numbers. The problem: these numbers are generally in the two digit range, so even a few items cost more than $100. While the quality of the rest of the device is set for toddlers and young children, the money aspect seems to be aimed at middle schoolers. I couldn’t stand the loud single phrases, so I returned it. While I could have left out the batteries, I specifically was looking for something that beeped when you scanned food, so this item wouldn’t work. .

This is a cool toy fort toddlers that like to shop for things. We have a granddaughter that has a large kitchen set. She loves to seat us at her kitchen and then go through the whole process of shopping for the ingredients at the store and then bringing them home and making a meal for us. This is a great alternative to having kids with their faces buried in electronic devices. This still has some electronic functions, so it keeps her interested. Very good little toy – if your little one is like ours then you may want to buy additional accessories ahead of time because she likes the full shopping cart experience and pretending to buy a lot of things. .
I bought this set a month ago for my 18 months daughter, as I saw her once playing with almost the same set in X store. Actually, it was way expensive. So, I decided to look for it online, and I found this one. it is cheaper, and It has more parts than the one in the store. It was her Christmas gift, but her brother decided to pretend to play with her. He was the cashier and she was the customer. It was so much fun for them and for us watching them playing together. I like it as they do. They are playing with it every day, and it keeps them busy while I do some chores. .
I got this for my toddler as he likes to “scan†things like in the checkout. I thought this toy has a sensor to scan but it’s a button that physically needs to be pressed. Which is fine, he seems to still enjoy it. It comes with the cash register, the scanner and a piece where you can put the toy credit card in and it shows a price. It also comes with a basket of toy veggies and mini fake cash and coins. This toy was a lot smaller than I thought but it’s quite decent. .
What better way to help your kids learn about money and what things cost, They get to do transactions, count money and pretend to shop. My 3,7, and even 10yo set up a whole grocery shop in there room and all play together. One plays cashier and the others play shoppers. They love the credit card and all the working features of this register. Its more realistic than most registers that I looked at. It sets a more realistic set up as to what really goes into checking someone out at a real grocery store. .

My 2 year old received this for her birthday. She absolutely loves it, so does outlet 3 year old. It actually totals the items you select and asks for the amount of coins and counts them as you add them. Shes already counting with it because of how repetitive it is ! As for the issue in other reviews about being able to put coins in while the drawer is open. Yes they get stuck , but we have found that if leave the drawer open flip it up side down and shut the door while upside down and turn over again they go back in the drawer. Problem solved no screw driver needed . 🙂 .
This is a great toy for my two year old, she loves it. The only downfall is that it allows her to continue inserting coins with the tray open. The coins fall to the back, jamming the register. The only way to fix it is with a screwdriver to take the entire bottom out. Not too difficult but when you have to do it three times in an hour it gets a little daunting. We eventually had to put it away for the day to avoid spending the whole day “fixing” it. Might be a better option for older kids who would understand if you told them to only insert coins when the tray is closed. .
This toy seemed to be the favorite amongst my two year old twins Christmas presents. They loved it and had to have it opened right away. My girls immediately loved putting the coins in the slot. One of my girls did this over and over again and liked it so much that she didn’t even care about the rest of her presents. There are a few reasons I am giving it four stars instead of five as there are a few negative aspects of this toy. There are as follow.1. It is REALLY loud. Even the quiet setting is loud.2. The food that comes with it is kind of silly. It seems like just chunks of plastic.3. The cash register drawer does get jammed some times with all the coins but it is easy enough to shake and get lose. Some positive things with this toy are as followed:1. It holds my girls attention for a long time.2. The learning will continue as the grow. I like how the toy tells you to insert X amount of coins and then counts them as you put them in. This feature is still a little too old for my girls but I’m hoping that’ll mean the toy will be used for a long time to come.If you can get past the volume of this toy I would highly recommend it! .
The concept of this toy is great. My 4 year old asked for this as a reward for filling his “caught you being good jar”. Both my boys (2 & 4) really enjoyed it at first. Then the most annoying thing kept happening. The coins you feed it, get stuck if the drawer is left open. Now, this wouldn’t bother so much if I could just shake them out. But you can’t, you have to unscrew the bottom off and shake them out from there. My 2 year old has more fun with this toy but he is the one that can’t figure out the drawer issue. Cute toy, cute idea, but poor design. .

The description of the items states it includes “notes†(money) and coins as does the box. This does not. I ordered a replacement thinking it had been left out and it wasn’t in the 2nd box. Very small and cheap. .
I thought it was going to be bigger it is extremely small it needs 4 AA batteries not included . It seems very cheaply made .
Updated 2/3-We received the toy replacement and are very happy with it. Thank you funzbo.Updated 1/30-I have been contacted by the seller who apologized for the mistake ofmissing products. They also have offered a toy replacement for my daughter. When the item is received, i will update this review.Orihinal review – This product is much much smaller then advertised. The buttons were so small on the register that my little ones fingers couldn’t press one at a time. It advertises having play money and food, but this was not the case and it had none. Not impressed at all. .
Perfect for my 2 year old. He loves using the register and pretending to scan stuff. The size is nice for east transport. .

My 4 year old loves going to the park and doesnt have the patient to learn alphabets and counting, so I always think of ways how to make him learn numbers and alphabets . Whenever we walk to the park and start singing the ABC songs, he just constantly change the topic and says No mommy! Enough pls!Ive been looking for toys to improve his numerocal memory and so glad I came across this register toy. It comes with a basket pretend grocery and items, play money and coins, cash register of course and it requires battery(not included). We have been counting back and forth and he never says “enough mommy†to me! Great and fun way to interact and teach your child to count. .
I thought it was adorable when I first opened it. Once I got batteries in it I thought it was awesome that the scanner made noises and had a red light. But sadly the light lasted maybe three scans. I bought it so my little dudes could play library and they are so bummed that the light doesn’t work now. I wouldn’t buy it as a gift for someone else as it’s not great quality. Very cheaply made but it is cute. .
Really disappointing quality. I got it because it was a little cheaper than other similar items and I regret not going with a better quality brand for a little more money. For 23$ this is very subpar quality. The toy barely works and looks like its about to fall apart. It is also much smaller than I expected. Also worth noting that there was a $5 gift card for leaving a positive review included in the box Makes me question the other 5 star reviews on here .
This is a cute and simple cash register. Perfect for imaginative play for young kids. Comes with small basket with a fake plastic juice box, banana’s, plastic coins of various sizes, plastic credit card and various sizes of fake small money bills. Only down side is I wish fake bills were able to fit in money register but the coins fit. Overall Great simple play pretend register! .

My 6 year old had a little money saved up and wanted to go shopping on Amazon. Seen this and wanted it.I ordered it and it is ridiculously small, cheaply made, nothing special about this toy at all.I wanted to just send it back. I didn’t even feel like packaging it back up. I just gave my kid the money back and now its been played with maybe 2 times and sitting in the bottom of the toybox. .
This is much smaller than expected. The register is smaller than my hand, the credit card and cash both fit in the palm of my hand. Too small for little kids. .
Cash register has many accessory including a credit card swiper, shopping cart with grocery ans a casher. I like it included battery with it and mini screw driver for you to open the battery cap. It helps her woth math and learn how to count money. Good learning toy for 4 years old. .
Cute but didn’t realize how small some of the items were. The basket for instance is like baby doll size. If I realized how small the items were, I would have purchased another set definitely . My sons are 3 and 8 and they were not interested in the set due to the size of the toys. And yes that was the first complaint from them! .

I needed this in a rush so I actually purchased it without reading the reviews, which I usually never do. Imagine my surprise when it arrives and I see “beer” written right across the front. That being said, I really don’t mind that it has that on there. While my 3 year old obviously doesn’t drink beer, it’s something that we do occasionally purchase and I don’t see the big deal with her reading that word. The cash machine itself is great quality and has held up well to all 3 of my kids playing with it, and they are definitely not gentle .
This has brought so much joy to my grandson. We sent it to him for his 3rd birthday and he took to it immediately without his mom and dad showing him how to use the scanner, microphone and register keys. he only puts it away to go to daycare then gets it out as soon Ashe gets home he is also learning how to use the money. we are so glad we sent it to him. .
I bought this as a surprise gift for a young child who loves swiping the credit card into the machine at the grocery store .loves having me let him take the scanner gun to scan his purchase .He loved this sweet little cash register and the noises it makes when you “complete a purchase” .very, very cute gift to give a child with an inquiring mind at the grocery store! .

So, I bought this for Christmas and I mainly bought it for the register. I was looking for a simple register that a 3 year old could use. I LOVE this register. The drawer holds a few coins and paper money (included), it beeps when “scanning” and when credit cards are “swiped”. It DOES NOT talk, flash lights, or beep incessantly. The volume is not too loud or too soft. The buttons by the scale have “set” amounts and the register will automatically add the values as you click the buttons. It does exactly what I wanted and does it well. My daughter loves playing with this register and it’s mini scale and scanning purchases. Now, for the other items — the food, pots, mini stove top and hat — I really was not that interested in these BUT my daughter loves them as well and we have a special bag where we keep the items on hand for quick play. She is not rough w her toys and nothing has been broken or damaged. Everything arrived intact. I was very, very pleased with this purchase. Definitely worth the money.Oh, we did notice that the register would slide a bit when she played. We got a pack of those plastic furniture protectors for cabinet doors, etc at a home store and they provide enough “grab” on the bottom of the register to keep it from moving w normal play.Update 1 year later. I still love the register but it’s been acting weird. Not scanning consistently. This morning it was beeping and no one had touched it. I put in new batteries thinking that might be the problem it’s dead. My daughter loves this register so much I will probably buy another one but be warned. To my knowledge it never fell or dropped. BummerUpdate#2. I contacted the seller. Explained what happened and they immediately sent out a replacement!! Excellent customer service. This one is still functioning perfectly almost a year later. I would purchase again.Update 1 year after replacement: the second register is still going strong. My daughter is 5 and STILL plays with all these toys. Totally worth the $$. Mama is very happy!! .
My son received this for Christmas; it’s a favorite; he played with it for hours. We all love that the microphone really works! .
My son loves this register I bought it for Christmas and he still plays with it today. All the buttons work, it makes the scanning noise, it has a actual calculator, comes with fake money. It’s a great buy. .
I bought this as a gift and have seen several children playing with it at my grandson’s. Everyone wants a grown-up time at the cash register or cutting up veggies. One of my all time favorite toy purchases . .

This cash register is cute and definitely well-made, but it doesn’t hold my toddler’s interest for very long. I think it would help if the drawer made a ding! sound when it opens. .
My granddaughter had great fun “going shopping†with this register. She quickly learned to put the coins into the correct slots based on coin size. This comes with 3 coins which are sized to go into slots numbered 1,2,and 3. She enjoyed pressing the buttons which took some practice for her little fingers to depress fully. The credit card slot caused us to laugh but she caught on to the use of that too. The register gives her many hours of fun each day. .
Love melissa and doug products but disappointing to only have one coin of each color. .
I wish the drawer made a bell noise when opening. Felt a little cheaper than other Melissa and Doug toys we have .

shopping and paying is always fascinating for the kids. My little one always wants to pay and move the things on the counter for the checkout lady and used to watch her carefully scanning the bar-code and making the invoice. I bought this for her and she was very much excited with the toy. As soon as the package was delivered, and I opened the amazon box, she wanted the toy to be opened. She handed over the money and products to me and became the checkout lade herself. I moved my products and she started scanning and then had to handover her the money. The mic is very loud and it has a talking calculator. its very realistic and a great addition to her toys. .
The microphone broke making a very load annoying squeaking noise. .
Got this for my 4 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves that it has the mic you can talk into. Clean up on aisle 3. I had to giggle though, because the voice for this register has an asian accent. CLEARLY made somewhere in Asia. My kids had a little bit of a hard time understanding what she was saying because of the accent, but it doesn’t matter too much. Overall, I would say this would be best for a 3-4 year old because it’s so small. Also very cool how you can scan the foods and it will tell you which food it is. .
Love that there are so many buttons to press. my 3yo boy really enjoyed this, even thou it is pink. The fun food that came with the toy are petite but clearly know what they were.all the buttons and open/ close work fine. No issues after a couple drops onto the ground too.i think this is a great educational toy as it teaches young children the concept of money and buying food. We played with it for some time and havent been tired of it yet. .

It works and my son likes it. The few food pieces are hilarious when you read the labels (not proper English or terms). I actually got a kick out of reading the boxes. Idk much about Euros but I’m guessing even in Europe $200 and $300 bills aren’t normal for a jug of water. If you are getting this for money practice just know that it doesn’t use US currency and the amounts are not easy for making change. .
Worked for 5 minutes. My nephew loves using this for the scanner piece but all of the beeping noises stopped working and the microphone just makes a loud screeching noise. The cash drawer doesn’t stay latched closed. .
The toy money isn’t american. Got what I ordered tho. little niece loves the microphone. had to tape over the speaker. mine was way to loud .
Just as we expected. Only reason for the 4 stars is that the money is a weird size for the drawer. Some fits ok, some doesn’t. But it works great and the kids have a blast. .

Such a beautiful wooden cash register. I love the color pallet and quality for the price. However it is significantly smaller then any toy cash register we have had. I probably should have looked closer at the dimensions but overall it is a great addition to our play kitchen. .
It is adorable. Perfect size for our 3 year old. It is wooden and amazing quality. .
Very cute small but as described, definitely overpriced should be 20$ or less .
This cash register is very cute. It’s European style and the money and cards look very nice and good quality! .

I literally got this toy 3 hours or so ago and it’s already broke! TOTAL waste of my money and I’ll never buy from this seller again. NOT happy at all. Swiper part that you put the play food on broke and won’t move when I try moving it. The drawer on the register broke and won’t close no matter what I do.It’s also TINY compared to anything a toddler would usually play with. I want a refund or something. I’ve never had this kind of a issue with a kids toy like this .
Bought this cash register, and within a few days, the sound stopped working. After almost a month of changing out batteries–and beyond return window–highly disappointed. The sound of the microphone was never clear, the beeping for both scanner and calculator do not work, and the light on the scanner stays on, causing batteries to drain.Do not buy this cash register, unless you’re willing to throw away money–because that’s all I did. DISAPPOINTED. .
Sadly a huge waste of money. Bought as a Christmas gift and didn’t know how bad it was until my daughter opened it. It’s super tiny and the buttons didn’t even work. She wouldn’t even play with it. .
My grandchildren love playing with this set. They play for hours using their imagination. They use it as grocery store & also as restaurant . They especially like the microphone. .

Love that the sound affects are at a very low “non irritating†volume. It’s not too big so it fits on my 3 year daughters small play table and in her play kitchen. The coins are bulky and cutely desigbed so they are easy to spot around the house when we do clean up. I honestly think it’s just cute and perfect all around. Note: the register drawer comes with a key for them to insert to lock/unlock register. Best to get rid of – or store the key somewhere and leave the drawer unlocked because if /when they lose the key it will be hard to open that drawer. My daughter is 3 and LOVES it. The credit card slot makes a little muted beep too when the card passes through it. It’s really quite perfect! I only paid $10 on Amazon so that’s even better! Saw it at TJMax for $20. So I’m a happy camper! .
Perfect! My daughter has been wishing for a cash register for so long and this was the hit of Christmas. The cash register comes with batteries, food, a basket, money, and a key for the drawer. We took the key away from the children immediately, because we knew they’d misplace it. The sounds from the register are soft compared to more obnoxious toys out there. I’m so happy with this purchase and can’t recommend it enough. .
This is so small. Check out the measurements before you buy it. Waste of money. .
I like the sturdiness of the product. It was better than I expected for the price. It has held up to two toddlers.A couple little things don’t work perfectly on ours:-The calculator display has a couple of lines missing on each number on the screen.-Sometimes the scanner doesn’t beep. Our kids don’t notice these things. For the price, we don’t mind much either. Our kids have a lot of fun playing Store. .

I bought this to go with a shopping cart I have for my grandsons, ages 3 and 4. They love it, and I love that it came with some fruits and vegetables and a play knife you can use to “cut†the veggies in two, with the help of the Velcro that holds them together. I wish the cash drawer opened a bit more so access to the paper money was easier. .
I liked the realistic features of this toy cash register. It adds, has a credit card slot, a scanner and play money. I purchased one for my eldest granddaughter and her little sister liked playing with it so much that I bought another one for her. They now have play fruit and vegetable stores. I love seeing them so happy. Nice gift idea. .
I can’t understand why this has so many good reviews. The quality of this set is about what you’d find at a dollar store. The drawer doesn’t open all the way, there’s literally THREE coins and THREE bills. The “cart†is barely large enough to hold one item of food and the cutting board is hollow and laughably small. For the price this really isn’t worth it. Returning. .

I really liked the idea of this cash register, but here is what I found: the drawer will not hold real size American play money and the very first time it was dropped, the face on the solar panel broke so now the calculator will not function 🙁 I would not recommend it. .
This is a nice register however it would be much better if the money wasn’t made of paper or was at least laminated. It would also be nice if the drawer popped open with the touch of a button like a real cash register. I do like that it doesn’t make noise though because I am trying to stay away from noise producing toys for my son. He is 3 and loves to play with this but the money is very bent and ruined after a few months of use. .
We’ve had this cash register for a year. It is sturdy and rugged. My 3-year old calls it her computer. It is perfect for a toddler who likes to play store. Easy for little fingers to operate. .
This cash register is just the right addition to our grandchildren’s IKEA kitchen and their store of plush food. I expect it will provide years of fun. .

I was originally going to buy this while I was at Target, but every package had cardboard torn and just looked really banged up. I searched for it on Amazon and was glad I did because it was a few dollars cheaper and arrived in excellent condition! We got it as a Christmas gift for my daughter to use with her play kitchen and it’s perfect. She pretends she runs a restaurant and has fun ringing us up. I love that it actually has a working calculator, not to mention it’s SUPER CUTE! Overall a great toy that can be educational and fun at the same time. .
This little register is very cheaply made. It’s very small. The little pen doesn’t work even when dipped in water for the signature. For a toddler to dip it in water is also a mess. The card slider is misleading. It’s just a little piece of plastic sticking out. Doesn’t really do anything. Was so disappointed. .
My daughter really wanted it for the princess theme, but it is a little expensive for the quality. Just be aware you are paying a premium for the theme and you won’t be disappointed. Sometimes Disney is expensive and has decent quality, but this cash register isn’t in that category. My daughter loves it, so that’s a plus. .
My 3 year old loves this! Worth the money !!! .

Cute toy but impossible to open scanner and insert battery. Called the 800# but they were no help. Bought it for the scanner – very disappointed. .
We love this casher but it’s missing 2 play foods that don’t come in this playset cheese and chicken drumstick although there are buttons on the screen showing and they say chicken and cheese. If you buy the shopping cart that goes with this set it comes with a cheese but still no chicken. So if you buy this and the matching cart you end up with these many play foods 2 milks, 2 apples, 1 broccoli, 1bread, 1 jar of jam, 1 pretzel and 1 cheese. So we have a button on the cashier to ring up chicken but doesn’t come in either sets so we’re can I find this chicken? I checked other Fisher Price food sets no chicken. .
This product came broken. We thought maybe the battery was dead, but after a quick change, we realized the circuit board must be damaged. The buttons don’t work. They say half of a word (bread for example comes out as “Bruh†and milk comes out as “mih.â€Super disappointed. I was really excited to give this to my 14 month old to help him learn his fruits and veggies but nope. It just looks cute next to his play kitchen. That’s about it. .
Really dissapointed, bought as an open box, it had an inspected sticker from amazon but was missing the milk. Almost missed the return deadline because I had it stored away for Christmas so I’m so glad I caught it!The toy itself looks okay, not sure if I’ll rebuy because of the hassle. .

In my opinion, it’s too loud for little ears so I’m returning it. Decibels should be limited to 85. The sounds it makes are obnoxious and can be heard from the next room. That being said, my daughter really liked playing with it. Has low profile almost touch screen buttons so better for older kids.Other Cons:-No moving conveyor belt nor working scale like the Boley one.-Money is in British pounds/pence.-Scanner cord is too short to reach to where you would put the food.-Hold a button while talking for mic to work–complicated for 2–3 year olds.Pros:-Credit/debit card slot added feature-Decent working microphone-Cash drawer opens well-Food items are nice looking-It adds up everything you scan (using made up prices) .
This is perfect for my four year old. He loves that it has a scanner (actually 2 scanners) and it beeps and puts prices into the cash register. He also loves using the microphone and credit card reader. Lots of great sound effects! Even my older kids (ages 9 and 11) seem to like playing with it as well. .
This thing is tiny. The play food is pretty cheap looking. It’s a pretty cool toy otherwise, just really small. It comes with super small, fake looking play money that is about the size of a hotwheel. The credit card feature is pretty neat, though the number pad is just one big button. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. Just wish it weren’t so dinky. .
This toy is SO CUTE!! The only thing that is not evident in the product description is that, it is a British toy so the currency is in pounds LOL! I don’t really mind or anything , it just surprised me a little. I love the detail in it and my kids still play with it regularly after 9 months of having it. It’s a well-built and fun toy, definitely a good purchase. .

Omg this is so cheap and half the time doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money on this and buy one that’s more reliable. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. One it took forever to get here, second it is cheaply made and some parts broke the first time she played with it. She still likes it so that’s the only reason I’m not returning it. Otherwise I would and get her another one but she’s 4 and doesn’t care, it’s still a toy for her. .
Do not buy if you are sensitive to loud and annoying toys. I wish I didn’t throw the box away before letting my daughter lay with it. It has a very annoying voice that doesn’t speak English very well. It starts off at the highest volume every time you turn it on and then you can turn it lower, but which kid is actually going to do that? We go crazy every time she plays with it because it’s obnoxiously loud and annoying. It is also very small. .
Probably one of the most annoying toys! My daughter liked it a lot but we ended up getting rid of it because the voice was so annoying .
Good Cash Register toy for kid. My daughter like it. She very enjoyed it and like to play the songs from it when she use it scan the food. She doing go with the changes too. Lol .

So cute! Love that it has all features my child wanted, the mic, talking buttons, the scanner and the cc have such realistic sounds! The scanner can sometimes make a problem “catching†the bar code but usually it’s fine! Also, was a little hard to push to monitor screen into the base but once it’s on there it’s nice and sturdy. Great seller with excellent customer service! Thank you! .
This was a total disappointment. The product itself is VERY small. The whole thing is very cheaply made and the parts wouldn’t even snap together. If it did go together, it’d be acceptable for a 3 year old. This is over-priced plastic junk straight from China. .
I looked all over for a good cash register toy and the reviews were bad on most. I chose this one for my 2 and 4 year old girls and they love it. We have had it a couple months and they still play with it all the time. They love the scanner that beeps, the microphone and the buttons are fun the press. .
Extremely flimsy. So flimsy I actually could not snap the parts together. It was faster and easier to assemble my son’s new tricycle then to try to assemble this cash register so unfortunately had to return. The pieces that came with it (milk, cereal box, etc.) were also of very poor quality. I do not like to leave negative reviews but this item was just too disappointing. .

We just received this today and so far, so good. This is much larger than I expected and is probably the most realistic toy cash register I’ve come across (and I spent a good hour going through Amazon reading reviews, looking at pictures, comparing prices, etcetera). The register door doesn’t fully expand but I’m guessing that’s so money doesn’t fall out (it’s still fully functional). I highly recommend this one as other ones are half the size and look cheap. .
Realistic register that all 4 kids enjoy. They also like the different language feature. They can now greet people in French and Spanish as well as English. The only downfall is the money has to sit properly in the drawer or the drawer won’t close. Ben Franklin Toys Talking Toy Cash Register – store learning play set with 3 languages, paging microphone, credit card, bank card and play money.
Very disappointed in this product. Our first one, the microphone didnt work on it so I sent it back and the replacement microphone worked for less than 2 weeks. Also weird that there arent enough spaces in the cash drawer the quantity of bills and coins you get with it (ie: you get 1s, 5s, 10s and 20s, but there are only 3 spaces) 100% overpriced for what you get. .
This cash register is very basic. None of the features are particularly special. This was purchased to replace the broken case register he played with for years. That cash register was much better. It identified the coins when he put them in the coin slot and beeped when he scanned things. I expected more from this product as it was advertised as a STEM toy. He likes the microphone but it doesn’t make the product worth the price. .

I ordered this cash register on October for my 3 years old girl’s christmas gift. She opened it on the christmas day. I helped her to put new batteries on. It only worked for one minute and the screen just went off and never came back. It has no quality at all. I can’t even send it back since it’s already past a month though it’s brand new. Don’t buy it. It’s just waste of your money. We are very disappointed!!! I will give no star if I could!!! .
Bought this for my granddaughter about a year ago. She loved it and used it all the time. It was a great learning toy. About 11 months later the register started to read the wrong coins and give the wrong answers. I contacted the company and in less than a week they had shipped us a brand new one that works great. It really is a great toy, and with electronics you have to expect glitches sometimes, but this company does a great job of design as well as service. Very happy! .
Not very durable. Definitely wouldn’t hold up to a classroom of kids (or we got a dud). Our kid overstuffed the drawer on one side once and despite delicate removal and opening the drawer is now stuck closed and will not open. So it is s pretty damn expensive calculator at this point. Pretty disappointed . edited a few weeks later to say that it is now stuck in all areas: all the lights are on but nothing is working. Tried everything. It’s toast. It never had a fall (I keep it too high to reach and it is only played with under supervision due to the small parts). So we must have a dud. They’re sending a replacement. .
This is our second cash register this month. The first one arrived with missing pieces. Return was easy-peasy, and the second register arrived within days (the first register took over three weeks). I have a few minor complaints that prevented me from giving this 5 stars. We no longer use pennies in Canada, so perhaps these will be left out of future versions – minor curiosity. There aren’t enough coin areas in the money tray for all of the denominations of coins (regardless of not including pennies) – this is not a minor complaint – c’mon! The drawer does come open with high velocity, spewing coins all over the place, but I taught my daughter to place one hand just in front of the drawer before she hits the OPEN key – no biggie. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, and I would recommend the teaching register to others. .

there’s alot of stuff but of course my son decides to destroy the boxes and cartons of juices and milk and break the cart within 48 hours but its really cool mayne for a 4 or 5 year old who understand a little more 🙂 .
It is a cute little cash register set but came with some pieces missing. My grandson seems to enjoy his shopping trips but grandma is one who has to go to store. .
The cart lasted for probably two weeks before it broke. The food made to look like it comes in a paper product (juice, milk, boxes of candy or chocolates) didn’t last long either. I would buy a more expensive set next time, because this already needs to be replaced. .
Not happy with this product at all. Daughter opened Christmas morning and was so happy to see this. Once she started playing with it the cart broke. We managed to tape it together to hold it back together. That was complete and then about twenty mins later the cash register broke. This was very disappointing. .

I bought this in spite of all of the bad reviews in relation to the problem with the drawer sticking. I couldn’t find any other registers that were nearly as adorable, so I bought it with the intention of finding a hack to fix the drawer problem. Here is how to do it: (It took me about 10 minutes).1. Remove only the lower screws on each side.2. Pop off the bottom panel and pull out the drawer.3. Unscrew the stopper on the back of the drawer and then use a utility knife to break away the glue.4. Reattach the bottom panel. (Do not over tighten the screws or the drawer will not slide in and out easily.)5. Insert drawer and voila! The cash will still slip behind the drawer on occasion, but it can be easily removed.* I completely recognize that it shouldn’t be necessary to alter a toy just so it functions properly. Hape owes me 10 minutes of my life back! .
I wanted to get a wooden register because I don’t like having too many plastic toys. Of course, it doesn’t make any cool sounds or have a push button drawer that pops out immediately. My 2 year old kept asking me to put the batteries in, haha.So I read all the reviews and was willing to put up with the stuck drawer or the money getting caught just because this was the best wooden register I saw.We haven’t had an issue with either problem. Drawer comes in and out smoothly. The money needs to be slid under the red string so that it lays flatter. Not sure if people are doing that or showing their kid how to slide in money. I haven’t noticed money getting stuck if you keep it under the red string. I’ve attached a picture of this. .
My three year old granddaughter has not stopped playing with this since it arrived. I am tired of playing customer, but she is full speed ahead as the check out clerk. I have decided to not buy any more plastic toys and this has been a wonderful wooden toy. She is fine with the fact that she and I have to make sounds for the scanner, and for the credit card wiper; that is part of the fun! No batteries to replace, no plastic junk in a landfill five years hence. Several other reviewers commented on the money getting stuck in the drawer, but we have not had that issue. I spent a bit of time the first day showing her how to slide the money in delicately under the elastic band and no problem. I highly recommend this toy! I will purchase more Hape toys in the future. .
I wanted to leave a review for this product, because after reading some of the initial reviews I was hesitant to purchase it. Specifically, the reviews on the coins getting stuck and then not being able to close the drawer. After having this register for over 6 months, we finally got some coins stuck, but it is SO easy to get them out! All you have to do is pull out the drawer, flip the register over and then close the drawer with is still upside down. Then when you flip it right side up the coins just fall back into the drawer. My daughter absolutely loves playing store with this register and we are SO glad that we purchased it! .

This is a great toy cash register for children. My two-year old son plays with it constantly and really enjoys pressing the buttons and “weighing” food. The register plays music and repeats numbers back when buttons are pressed. There are three different modes on the cash register so my son gets a variety of music and information repeated to him.The only negative is that the money drawer is very hard to open for my kiddo. I even have trouble getting it open the first time. The “open” button might be a little bit stuck. I’m not sure if this is specific to our register or affects all of the registers from this manufacturer. But we are very pleased with this purchase. My son loves this toy so much! .
Most of the toys available these days are electronic filled with sounds and music. This Cash Register is one of our favorites for our granddaughter. She enjoys playing with the little pieces and the cash register has so many buttons and dials for her to interact with. It provides a good variety of interactive sound and responses. Great, great buy. Purchase this with the Bright Starts Giggling Gourmet Shop ‘n Cook Walker. They go well together. .
This is a great toy! It’s pleasant on the lowest volume setting, not obnoxious like other v-tech toys my sons have. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I wish there was a free play setting where my boys could push the buttons and have it make sound instead of saying the numbers/food and singing songs. Also, it would have been nice if all of the food pieces were detailed (some are just plain, matte plastic, while others are shiny and very detailed. Minor improvements. Overall, it’s a fantastic toy. .
This cash register is for kids under 2 as far as I am concerned. When you push the buttons, they don’t really repeat the name of the number, and you cannot use it like a real cash register at all. It’s perfect for a one-year-old, not advanced enough for a two-year-old. .

I thought the register and accessories were really cute but very small in the picture i was expecting it to be a little bigger but it was a good gift my grand daughter loved it so that’s all that matters .
Didn’t realize it was so small.I wish it was a little bit bigger.Pieces are really tiny. Hard to get the ice cream cones on the cart. Things are always falling over. Wouldn’t have got it if I would have known it was so little 😔 .
Items were tiny, cheaply made. When assembling the ice cream cart, they sent 2 of the same side handle bar, so you can’t even put the ice cream cart together. The stickers could not wrap around the cone very well. .
It’s too small for kids to play! The toys so small need to be careful kids will put it on their mouth .

Great cash register toy for a boy or a girl. I remember when I was a kid my favorite toy was a cash register. I would use it all the time. Now after receiving this gift my sons favorite gift is also a cash register. He loves the fake money the fact that has a scanner to scan groceries or other toys as he pretends people Fine has items. This came on time and as described. Great toy for boys or girls. Good quality. Fun for hours .
Useful toy, i usee it to teach my son the concept of key (to open the cash register). It also has the keypad that works as a simple operation calculator. Good to use to teach him about addition and subtraction. It’s a little smaller than i imagined though. .
My son really love this toy! .

I ordered it as Christmas gift for my nephew. The presentation of the box is great. I can’t wait to see my nephew open it on Christmas. I can’t imagine the smile he will have on his face. The little finger cashier presses on this cool looking cash register. It arrived in my home in great condition. Easy and done with a Christmas gift in my list! I will update it after seeing my nephew plays it! I am sure he will like it. Great buy for gift! .
My child loves cash registers so he loved this toy! It didn’t last very long, some of the wires started to come out where you slide the card. The mic worked great and the buttons and scanner did too. There are definitely sturdier cash registers out there. (You get what you pay for) .
I bought this for my son. He loves pushing all the buttons and the scanning noise, swiping the credit card and using the microphone. This has kept him entertained for hours. .
I will agree with other reviews, it is small. But it has a lot of features for under $20, so I’d consider it worth it. My three year old liked it. .

My daughter loves it so much. She 3 years old and loves the beep when she’s checking out the groceries. Unfortunately there’s seems to be some defect with the mic because whenever she speak there is this loud screech that scares her whenever she talks. Wish it wasn’t so loud. But other than that everything else is great .
Was much smaller than expected! .
It came very quickly! Great quality. Not cheap looking at all. My granddaughter is going to love it. .
My seven year old granddaughter loves this cash register, she loves talking into the mic .

This product does not play the sounds on it and the numbers on the calculator part are barely working. The microphone does not work either. Lastly, the drawer barely opens. It only opens about 2 or 3 inches. Luckily, this gift was for a 3 year old who doesn’t know that it’s not working correctly. Very unsatisfied with this product and will not be buying from this seller again. .
I ordered this for my 4 year old daughter because she loves to play “storeâ€. We received the item quickly thanks to Prime and my daughter couldn’t be happier. It works great and she’s already played with it for hours! My almost 2 year old really likes it too! .
How can my kid play pretend with a register that doesn’t allow u to open all the way to get the cash? Pretend she got the money out? Returned and got a better one. .
The extra features will keep my six year old great granddaughter interested for many years. Start out with pretend play and then the calculator and language features will keep her playing and learning. .

ok I’ll TRULY give an honest review since I haven’t gotten this at a discount. well I’m glad I didn’t spend much for it because I’m really disappointed. bought this for my 2.5 yr old and while it is cute and I dig that it’s wood and all, there’s some parts that are just puzzling. first off it’s really small like 8×8 maybe? I don’t know what the piece on a string is even supposed to be maybe a scanner? there’s a receipt tape roll which flies out at all times and you know a kids are going to pull the whole thing out on the first go to make it worse it’s filled with a roll of those little stickers stores use to price things so a kajillion stickers sticking to everything to boot. the little blue thing that’s supposed to keep it in doesn’t stay on at all I guess I’ll glue it on. I love how someone’s reviews states that ‘it even has a drawer’ it’s a cash register, of course it has a drawer! anyway with all of these amazing reviews I guess I was expecting to be amazed and just wasn’t. on the plus side the buttons are cute and it isn’t an awful plasticky looking thing quite cute in fact. at least it wasn’t very expensive! .
My 3 year old daughter seems very engaged with this toy. I like that it’s made of sturdy wood doesn’t talk or light up so she can focus on using her imagination to create the play schemes without getting distracted by making a certain sound or light happen repeatedly. My 3 and 1 year old have dropped it several times (if they are holding the scanner and walk away, it falls off the table where they play with it) but it seems to hold up pretty well to those crash landings. The receipt roll comes off with a tiny wooden rod and the cover falls out when it falls. It’s easy to put back together, so it’s probably better that it comes off rather than breaking off when dropped. However, we have to be careful because the tiny wooden rod is small enough to be swallowed by my 1 year old. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. .
Very much loved and constantly being used for role play by my son and daughter. I took off and kept the blue cover for the small paper roll because it comes of easily. I assume that it was made that way to be able to change the paper easily. My kids are two and three and they kept throwing it around. The size and weight are just right for them. I love that it has a scanner and slot for swiping cards. .
I have purchased this wooden cash register for my play therapy room and I love it! Not to small and not to big it fits on my shelves and it is easy for a child to carry and move around. .

The drawer doesn’t open, to fix this you’ll need two Phillips head screw drivers one regular and one small. Step one flip the cash register upside down and remove the five screws attached to the bottom plate. Step to remove the bottom plate and take off the four smaller screws with the smaller Phillips head that keep the register attached to the bottom plate. Step three remove the top part of the pink cash register so that only the drawer remains flip the bottom half of the pink register drawer upside down and you should see a rubber band, the rubber band needs to connect to the bottom base plate over a little gold hook that’s built into the bottom. Step four hold the drawer in place and reassemble the toy. My child cried for like two hours while we tirelessly attempted to troubleshoot this issue. You’re welcome .
The toy is okay, but not the best. I liked that it came with a key to drawer, which was the main reason I bought it. We’ve had it about a month and drawer aleady sticks. It doesn’t pop out like it is supposed to. So, the key/locking drawer is pretty much worthless now. I thought it would work like a calculator, but it doesn’t. It’s also very LOUD. I almost cringe when my daughter starts playing with it. .
This cash register is cute but like so many reviews before, the drawer does not work. We opened it and the rubber band is broken inside. Another buyer wrote a detailed description of how to fix it or you should return it. I have a feeling they are all broken because when I searched for this, there were few places selling and amazon was not one of them.In addition: The register does not come with many bills and it does not allow for bigger bills. The width is very small. .
This was a gift for my 4 year old granddaughter. The cash drawer would not open until my husband took it apart, and then you still had to pull hard to open it. I thought it was good that it shuts off if it’s not used for a certain length of time, but that one feature doesn’t make up for the rest. It is not easy for a child to use. One of the fun things is being able to put money in the drawer and give back change, but the poor design of this toy prevents that. The drawer key is useless. I definitely would not buy again nor recommend it to anyone. .
