Keep it simple stupid . KISS is a frase I learned 40+ years ago. And I have found life can get pretty complicated. But keto doesn’t have to be unless your marketing it. This app came with a downloadable manual that explains the keto diet simply enough for anyone to fallow. And the app it’s self makes staying in track with your food so simple any kid could do it. I always know how many micros I have used up and how many I have left. I have a daily balance. And a good progress long so I can look back and be able to tell what I ate on days lacking weight loss. Or see what worked really well. I tried other apps but none of them were as quick and easy to use as this. I just finished my first 30 days and I’m down 13 pounds. I highly recommend this app. .
I’m one of those people who don’t read instructions, but this app is perfect for me. If I don’t see what I’m looking for I just wait; at least ten suggestions will appear and I have yet to be disappointed. It’s perfectly named. .

I lead two different keto classes and although there are some great keto managing apps out there, some of my members are not so internet savvy. Therefore, they cannot enter into these apps what they take in daily to configure their net carbs, etc. This was a wonderful book for them, or anyone else that want to take something on the go to help them configure their macros. It is a very small book and can easily fit into your purse, and there are even fast foot cheat sheets in the back 🙂 .
This seems to be a fairly comprehensive list of foods. As for accuracy I can’t attest since I have just received the book this morning and have only done a few comparisons.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the way the serving sizes are listed. It would have been much better for the serving size to be listed in grams or include grams in a separate column since some items can change carb count with only a few grams in weight. I just think this would be more precise way to count macros. Cups and spoons are too vague to get an accurate count. That being said, I still think this will be a very valuable tool. I will probably include grams next to serving size when I can. .
It is much easier to find menu items from restaurants (although it did not have every item from every location) and items from packaged quick to prepare grocery store items than to locate basic ingredients you would buy at grocery store. This surprised me because some other reviews said it was much more user friendly from other guide books. It is going into my donate box and I am going to look for a different one. I would think people serious about the KETO diet would also be serious about preparing their own healthy food. .
I like that all the macro values are included for the keto diet. I also like that restaurants are included. What I don’t like, and it almost cost two stars, is the small print. I wear glasses and still had a problem. I don’t understand why anybody would publish a book with the print this small. If the print had been normal, this would have been a 5 star review. .

Here is the reposting, heed the warning: HOW CAN AMAZON ALLOW THIS TO SOLD AS KETO WHEN IT HAS -Maltodextrin which can cause spikes in your blood sugar because it has a high glycemic index, and this can be particularly dangerous for people with diabetes symptoms or insulin resistance. Maltodextrin’s glycemic index is even higher than table sugar, ranging from 106 to 136 (while table sugar is 65)Easily absorbed carbohydrates like maltodextrin and sugar get into your bloodstream quickly, and if the carbs aren’t used for energy, they’re stored as fat. This is very different than real complex carbohydrates from whole grains that are broken down and absorbed slowly, helping keep you feeling full and energized for a longer period of time.A 2012 study found that maltodextrin increased bacterial adhesion to human intestinal epithelial cells and enhanced E. coli adhesion, which is associated with autoimmune disorders. Very disappointed I bought this and took it without reading the ingredients and reviews. It has 0 carbs and contains a lot of good stuff for people on the Keto diet but it’s loaded with Maltodextrin and Sucralose which have a high Glycemic index. I was measuring blood ketones at 2.4mmol/L then the next morning tried this and immediately after tasting I knew there was something wrong. Far too sweet. Felt like crap after and checked my numbers. Dropped straight down to 0.3mmol/L. I am very upset that this can be sold with Keto on the label when its not at all Keto friendly.That said it tastes great so if you don’t care about ketosis this may be a decent low carb supplement. They need to change the label though. .
Love this product and do the keto diet better than adding butter to my coffee .
Taste is better than all others. Blends in well with minimal chucks. Great taste. The only weird thing is that the container is half full. Seems a little wasteful. .

I bought this book because it had “5 ingredients†in the title.i thought it would be easy peasy for cooking during the hectic work week. The recipes are pretty easy but most required more than 5 ingredients which is irritating since the name is “Easy 5 ingredients †.
“You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.” We have all heard that. When I saw CARROTS on the cover of a book for ketogenic dieting, I thought, well here we go again. Everybody knows that carrots have too much sugar. However, once you actually read the book (as well as looking at the delicious photos) you find a ketogenic diet gourmet gem. They rightly state in the “Foods to Enjoy” table on page 8 that carrots can be included but “only with moderation”. The basic information regarding achieving a ketogenic lifestyle is brief, yet accurate. The whole book tells you how to have “Foods to Enjoy” on your ketogenic diet. The recipes chosen are diverse and simplified for our busy lives, yet delicious and adding that little bit of joy from a selection of self-prepared foods which taste real good. I enjoy the Blackberry-Chia Pudding (Frozen Blackberries from my backyard).So, with additional thought after writing this review, in this case we can judge a book by it’s cover. Delicious to look at, Delicious to read, and by following the “made easy” recipes, Delicious to eat.I highly recommend this book for those who have been following a ketogenic lifestyle for a long time to learn some new recipes to spice up our life, and to make life a little easier. For those who are just in the contemplation stage, or who are ready to begin, this cookbook lives up to it’s calling card in Chapter One: “Simple & Easy Ketogenic Cooking”.For those who want more of the “science” behind the ketogenic diet, it will be a good companion to the book “The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living by Phiney and Volek”.Reading and “digesting” this cookbook is a good way to start off the New Year on a ketogenic diet. 5 stars in my opinion. .
The name of this book is misleading. Very few of the recipes contain five or less ingredients. The author also includes specialty ingredients such as “Perfect Keto Exogenous Ketone Powder in Peaches and Creamâ€. I was expecting ingredients that I could purchase at my local grocery store. .
I Wanted to love this. The high net carb levels are ridiculously high for each portion (like 13 and 15!!) which completely defeats keto!! Beware!!! .

I bought both Keto Diet Journal for Beginners and Keto Diet Food Journal, both “authored†by Enchanted Willow, assuming Keto Diet Journal for Beginners would contain information for beginners and Keto Diet Food Journal would contain information for experienced Keto dieters. Wrong!!!Except for the front covers, the books are identical! The only other difference is the bar codes on the back covers. Everything else is the exact same! Neither book contains any textual information. There is only the one page that was apparently duplicated 89 times to make a 90-day journal (pages are not numbered, so I’m guessing 90 pages).That might explain why Enchanted Willow neglected to put sample pages or describe the interior of either book.There were no prior reviews on either book, so I took a chance and now feel cheated, and am so very disappointed that I’m tempted to rate both books with one star.Had I known that the books were identical, I would have purchased only one of them, of course. However, I actually like the one page (which is the entirety of both books) enough to keep both books and gift one to a loved one and I’m rating each book with 5 stars because that one page is really good.I would recommend buying either Keto Diet Journal for Beginners or Keto Diet Food Journal, but not both.And yes, seller, I am duplicating this review for both identical books!EDIT: A pleasant surprise: Earlier I missed that a nice 14-week Progress Tracker is at the beginning of both books, on the back of the page after the front cover. .
Best of 4 others I have purchased but not at all what I need. I want pages with header of carb, pro., fat, cal. And it would be great to have space for blood reading ( K/G/GKI) and lots of lines going down the pageto do each food throughout the day and total it out where I want a total . NOT a total where I have to have seperat papers for adding numbers, listing foods etc.Apps are a pain, I want a book or stack of printed pages next to my scale. If I am in a hurry all I have to do is jot down quickly food and size or weight. I can do math later! Forget the clocks and faces, use the space for critical info. Cut the touchy-feely stuff and take the task seriosly. .
Handy for beginners if you like to write it all down. .
I found this is a good stat for keto but I did not fill it out I used a note book to track but this gave me a format to use. .

Last year my daughter, had received a Air Fryer as a Bridal Shower gift and she love, love, loved it. 😠So she got me one for Christmas. My daughter is Vegan and I was looking at Vegan Air Fryer cookbooks for one of her birthday gifts. She always likes to experiment and since she has been Vegan for about 20 years and has a lot of cookbooks, I really didn’t think another cookbook was necessary. I had just gotten my Air Fryer too, and I really didn’t see much in the cookbooks for me either. Then I found these and realized that the biggest help you need for cooking with the Air Fryer is one, the Temperature and two, length of time for cooking, and these covered all you need. So I purchased one of these for each of us. We have found them to be helpful and they do help with the kind of cooking we needed them for. They cook chicken breasts and instead making the kitchen hot from the oven, the Air Fryer does a great job of giving the skin a nice brown firm appearance and very moist chicken. There are a lot of items on these sheets that are very helpful (like mozzarella sticks and all different potatoes for fries). We have never had as many French Fries (Sweet Potato, Thin Cut, Wide Cut, Nathan’s Seasoned, Tots), and then Onion Rings basically anything you might deep fry and you use zero oils. and other food with terrific results. The sheet is magnetic and stay eye level on the refrigerator for quick reference. I recommend these for both Air Fryer Nubies and a quick reminder for Air Fryer veterans!😋 .
I love this! It is handy because the magnetic background fits perfectly on the front of the refrigerator. Also, some times the recipes in the cookbooks are not what you want to eat. This allows you to create your own recipes that your family likes and you can adjust for food allergies or family tastes. Would definitely recommend this item. .

The cheat sheet is really a nice thing to have handy if you’re new to air frying and the cookbooks that come with it don’t cover hardly anything. Quick and handy, mine now resides on the side of my fridge for quick reference. My only thing is my air fryer doesn’t go up to 400F degrees only 380F but no problem. A little pricey in my opinion but the information is worth it. The only issue I had was in shipping not the product, it was stuffed inside a mailbox which bent and tore the sheet and magnet but it’s still usable. The product cookbooks can’t cover all the different foods we all like to cook. .

Scale came right on time. Followed instructions: put batteries in, turned on, got error message, tried everything (turn off, reinstall batteries, etc) but scale just kept flashing numbers. Never weighed. Packed it right back up and returning it. Hope replacement works, but truthfully, I’m not very optimistic.Update #1- Replacement arrived. Return was simple. Unfortunately scale #2 turned on but turned off before I could finish weighing. Increased stars from 1 to 3.Update #2 – Replacement for replacement arrived . Oddly, I did not ask for the second replacement; all I did was add the update #1 to this review. Scale #3 woks perfectly but it seems I do not have the option available to return scale #2 other than to receive a refund. But I want to keep scale #3 since it does work and if I am refunded the purchase amount if I return scale #2 then I would basically be getting scale #3 for free. What to do? Oh well, adding a 4th star.Update #2- Even though I didn’t return scale #2 or request a replacement, scale #3 arrived in my mailbox today. I tried it and it seems to be working as it should. I’ll use it this weekend and if it’s still doing its job next week I’ll return #2 and up the stars. .
I love this scale. It’s accuracy is on point and super user friendly. I use it three times a day to weight my food out for my food plan. I love that you can put a plate on it, then turn it on where it zeros out to not include the weight of the plate, and will only weigh what you put on the plate. That way you don’t have to dirty up the scale plate. You can also turn on the scale, place the plate on the scale plate and zero it out, so two options to get to that result. I have tested it several times for accuracy and its on point every time, meaning weighing and re-weighing food to see if it comes up with the same number. It’s also lightweight, comes with batteries so you don’t need to buy batteries right away for it. It as a plastic sheet on top of the scale plate when packed so when you peal it off for first use, it’s shiny and attractive. I recommend this scale hands down. You won’t be disappointed at all. In fact, I may be another one to have on hand. Beware of trying to buy cheaper scales, this is well worth the money for sure. .
Excellent food weight scale. The screen is well lit up and the accuracy is per 0.01 in ounces. It is energy saving as well. The screen will turn off if there is no activity within 10 seconds. I’m very happy with my purchase. .
This is very small and fits easily anywhere on my counters or kitchen storage. It has been consistent and accurate. Its very easy to zero out the scale with a bowl, plate, etc so you know you’re just measuring the food itself. The stainless steel look makes it seem like a high end scale, but its crazy cheap. Highly recommend! .

Of course, in real life, most food doesn’t come in 100 gram portions . . . so will need to do some math . . . but even if you aren’t actually counting, it helps to know what each food has to offer. .
When I opened the app it was all in Spanish. So it is a waste a time to download even though it is free. .

I love Tina’s more balanced approarch to eating and macros as I often struggle with this all or nothing mentality with eating and struggle with eating a more balanced diet. There are so many recipes that I’m excited to try with ingredients that are easy to find or that I usually have on hand. I like the overnight oat recipes that are easy to prep and have ready to go for the next day. The meal plans in the back of the book are a great resource and help to see how everything fits together. If you are interested in learning more about following a macro diet, I recommend this book! .
Very interesting and informative book on macro tracking. There are lots of recipes that I’m looking forward to trying. I bought the Kindle version of the book and I’m thinking of getting paper copy as well because I like to use a paper cookbook in the kitchen. If you want to learn to track macros and also get some great recipes, I highly recommend this book. .

While the title of this book clearly puts it in the female zone, much of it could certainly be applied or of interest to men as only a small fraction of this book is gender specific. It covers intermittent fasting basics like the different types (hour or day splits, e.g., 16/8 and Eat-Stop-Eat) as well as benefits and potential pitfalls and side effects. The book doesn’t have many references; I like to see at least some in a book like this. It reads like someone’s blog. The book also has a suggested 16/8 10-day eating plan. You don’t immediately jump into 16/8; you start off gradually with 12 or 14 hour fasts. The book contains no recipes, just suggestions for what you should eat at particular times or days. All in all, it feels a light on substance.I received a free copy of this book as a part of a bundle, but that did not affect my review. .

I had the *EXACT* same issue as the most prominent negative review.The unit worked for maybe a few hundred reads. I sent it in for calibration. They have informed me that my unit has failed re-calibration.This is completely ridiculous. Who in their right mind would knowingly spend $120 on something that works for ~200 reads and then fails EVEN a re-calibration. The whole point of a supposed professional grade device is that it’s extremely reliable. Honestly, as long as the circuit works, there is no reason it should fail a recalibration. This unit was sold to me as something that could be recalibrated and was marketed as a very high quality product.BACtrack did the exact same as that reviewer, waived my re-calibration fees as a supposed courtesy and offered to give me a $40 coupon on a new one.This whole thing feels like a gimmick to keep upselling their latest model. I also agree with that reviewer, if their units fails to even be re-calibrated, how reliable can it be?This is complete and utter garbage. .
My wife left me, so I thought I would buy this and see how ridiculously drunk I could get in hopes it would heal the pain she caused me. I was happy once I hit the .241 mark .
This product worked for ~200 reads. I sent it to calibration through BACtrack and they emailed me a week later to let me know that my unit had failed calibration.BACtrack Solution to my problem: Refund the calibration charge, as a courtesy (a given). Send the unit back to me as well as a $40 coupon to purchase another unit from their website.My problem with their solution:1. The battery is rated for ~1500 reads the unit itself isn’t operable after ~200 reads.2. I paid for a unit that could be calibrated for this very reason3. Why would they charge a calibration fee for a unit that can supposedly be calibrated, but can fail calibration at the same time? Shouldn’t they be able to re-calibrate so that it passes the specifications?3a. There is obviously a quality problem here. I hold them responsible just as I would hold Apple responsible to replace the faulty chipset on my MacBook when it was found to be faulty due to quality (which they did).How many people actually send their breathalyzer in for calibration? Well I calibrate all of my measuring tools because I have been exposed to highly regulated pharmaceutical labs that run devices requiring calibration on a monthly or even daily basis. If BACtrack can’t identify this as a quality issue and honestly address it, why would I trust them to let me know when I am blowing over the legal limit? Would you guess that your device isn’t going to pass calibration after 200 reads? Would you keep using it knowing that its not guaranteeing precision or accuracy? Probably not.My proposed solution to BACtrack:Send me a new one and keep the broken one, as a matter of ethical customer service decision-making. If you can’t guarantee quality after 200 reads, then stop telling people that the battery will last 1500 reads. It’s a fool-proof way of guaranteeing that the breathalyzer is working FOR YOU and not FOR BACtrack’s pocketbook.***UPDATE***I spoke to BACtrack customer service on the phone and here is what I got.The units are expected to last anywhere from 3-5 years (time dependent not based on number of reads). I have owned this thing for nearly four years.I’m very disappointed with BACtrack’s dishonesty when marketing their product as being used for 1500 times on a single battery cycle, when customer service clearly states 3-5 year lifespan (maybe print a “best by” date???), even with “calibration”.I suggest they change their verbiage from “calibration” to “verification” soon. Their calibration service consists of reading the device at high, low and mid BAC standards and comparing it to the acceptable range. There is no method of calibration, just verification.According to their customer service, this is a common occurrence after owning the device for three years. At least put an expiration date or some sort of specification that lets your customers know about this or else you’ll inevitably have blood on your hands. For example, imagine an AED chest pad or battery doesn’t have an expiration date. If it fails to properly operate and there is not safeguard or printed date, then good luck to you buddy! .
I am so glad I bought this breathalyser. Why? I shall explain When buying a breathalyser, it really only has one job: accuracy. Any inaccurate breathalyser no doubt does more harm than good. I needed a breathalyser. A combination of my industry having many alcohol-infused social outings combined with the fact that any driving offence would render my career over. I just simply could never drink-drive, ever. So, the breathalyser sat in my glove box, and if I was ever over (or close to), there was no driving for me.Now, the accuracy, It just so happens in my industry (in my role) we were in charge of breathalysing participants on a regular basis. Due to the high-risk nature, we had to ensure all participants were 0.0. We used an incredibly expensive breathalyser worth around $1500 (police standard) that had to get recalibrated every six months.So, I used to have a few drinks, try our professional breathalyser, and then try my BacTrack. The results? Pretty well much identical. Typically, when one would read .031, the other would read .032 (if not exactly the same number). They would be very, very close. That gave me the confidence that the Bactrack is that accurate. .

I bought this a few years ago at the recommendation of a friend, and have generally thought it seemed pretty accurate based on how I felt. Tonight I left the bar after averaging a drink an hour between Father’s Day dinner and a date (I’m a 210 lb male). I could feel the alcohol but didn’t feel intoxicated. I blew in the unit and it registered .05, so I drove home. Got pulled for speeding and was given a breathalyzer test by the police officer, and it registered a .04 on his unit. Very happy that the unit was accurate and that it registered slightly higher than on the police officer’s unit, although there was about 15 minutes my initial reading and his.I did have to have it calibrated once in the last 2 years since I bought it. At that time it didn’t register at all after a few drinks. I recommend testing yourself with it regularly to get a feel for your BAC. That way if it seems off you’ll know you need to send it back to the company for recalibration. But after tonight this product has definitely proven its worth to me. .
it works amazingly and it has stopped arguements of whether or not someone is drunk in my house. I can’t tell you how much gaslighting this has saved me from if you live in an alcoholic who likes to pretend you’re insane rather than then them being drunk this is a time saver .
This unit is great, once it arrived I quickly charged it while downloading the app.First a word about privacy, you have the choice of setting up a cloud account and if you want to save data to your health profile on iPhone, I don’t like the idea of saving/broadcasting potentially damaging personal data if I can help it so I turned both options off. Legally none of it should be admissible (at least in my state) no reason to be the one to fight that battle. Thankfully the developers do not hobble the app in any way if you choose to not use their cloud services.The unit itself is small with rounded corners it doesn’t snag in my pocket and it’s slim enough to not print very much when sitting down. The stark white/black helps when it’s in my girlfriends’ handbag making it easy to find in a darkened bar. It comes with us anytime we might be drinking and away from home. It has rechargeable batteries and they seem to last a very long time additionally the app shows battery level at start-up.Using BACtrack is easy, first, you must wait 15 minutes from the time of your last drink or your readings will be artificially high. Once you are past the 15 minutes just hold the on/off button down until it lights up, open the app wait a few seconds and tap the screen once “BAC test” pops up. The unit warms up then asks you to blow (also a light on the hand held will flash), it might take a few tries to get used to it but once you do it is very easy. Wait a few more seconds and your BAC is displayed. It’s “time to sober” is interesting, for me it is usually off by some margin.My only complaint is it has a “need a ride” button that opens your uber app, although it is buried in the settings menu for some reason if a person blows over or even at .06 I wish it would pop up on the results page.Even on nights when I wasn’t drinking I’ve had several friends blow and end up taking uber or waiting the 20-30 minutes to get to the legal limit.Overall this thing is great. The design of the unit and the app are very simple and well done. When potentially dealing with impaired people simple is important. I like knowing what my limits are and knowing when I go past them helps ensure I make the correct choice to drive or get uber. .

I purchased this scale because I have been on a 1200 low glycemic index calorie diet. I am required to eat 90 grams of protein a day. I wanted to make sure that I am eating my required amount of protein. In addition, knowing the amount of ounces of fruit and veggies that I am consuming is a great for my calorie counting and nutritional needs. “Eyeballing” it, doesn’t always work. The bowl that come with it, helps with weighing. In addition, being able to zero out the scale is also nice. The scale is very accurate. Best purchase that I have made for assisting me in my weight loss journey. I lost 15 pounds in one month. I also purchased the scale that was recommended. The scale comes with a measuring tape, which is a plus. Sometimes in the weight loss process, we lose inches and people discount that because they haven’t lost pounds. Losing inches is healthy also. ADDITION: When I received the scale, if I remember correctly, there is an option to use kg or ounces. .
I don’t know why anyone would get anything that doesn’t AT LEAST give an option to switch to a metric system but I assumed that it would be in metric by default being a scale for FOOD and all all nutritional facts are displayed in metric why would anyone ever make or use a scale for food that doesn’t use metric is beyond me I suppose you could make the argument that recipes use imperial units but I don’t think that the primary application of a scale in a kitchen is to follow recipes .

And before I begin this review on the Lodge 4 Quart Dutch Oven, I want to let you know that I currently own a Lodge 5 Quart Dutch Oven, 3 Quart Chicken Fryer, 12 inch Skillet, 10 inch Skillet, Round Griddle and 10 inch Chef Skillet I cook with Cast Iron several times daily.I made a huge Beef and Vegetable Stew in this Dutch Oven and it served 4 people w generous helpings. I roasted this in my oven at 325 degrees for 2.5 hours and it was the best stew I ever made.- Reaon that I purchased this size Dutch Oven is Ithat I needed something in the 4 Quart size for small Roasts, Cut up Chicken, Stews and Soups etc. It is perfect for these types of Foods.- Four Quart vs Five Quart Info Now you may be wondering if you should buy the larger 5 Quart or the small 4 Quart. So I first took a picture of them side by side (picture one).*** The 4 Quart is 9.5 inches across the top and 4.5 inches deep. On the bottom of the 4 quart, it is quite a bit NARROWER than the 5 quart.Only a very small whole chicken or 2 to 3 pound roast will comfortably fit into this 4 Quart.The 5 Quart is 10.25 inches across and about 4.75 deep.* The 5 Quart will fit a much larger roast. If you cook for say four or more people, I suggest the 5 quart Dutch Oven or larger.— Preseasoned by Lodge. However, I washed and dried it and rubbed it down with vegetable oil. Then when I cook, I use Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil. Then when I wash it and dry it, I lightly run it down with a light coat of veggie oil and store it. This way, my food never sticks and slides right out. .

This Dutch Oven has revolutionized my bread making. Now each time I make bread, my husband and I cannot wait for the bread to come out of the oven. I have yet to have a failure in my bread. The resulting bread is like eating a fresh baguette from Switzerland where I lived for 18 years. I know what fresh bread tastes like, and now I can have it all the time. Even the next few days after the bread is baked, the toasted slices taste very fresh and delicious! I am so grateful to learn how to use this Dutch Oven for quality breads of all kinds. The four quart size is the perfect size! While I really wanted to like this product to transport my fresh artisan sourdough bread, unfortunately, the plastic produces a chemical smell that has not disappeared, even after sitting around unused for over a year! When the cover and base are separated for a short while, there is no smell from either part. But put the two together and after a while, take them apart, the smell is as strong as ever. It’s almost like a chemical reaction between the base and the cover, which are different kinds of plastic. I know it’s way too late to request a refund, but for a product designed for use with food, the company should have noticed this before offering it for sale. .

I’m starting to think all these reviews are fake. Every 5 star review was written in a two week time frame. The book appears self published. It also appears to be printed the day I ordered it. There are inconsistencies in recipes. One recipe talks about cooking mushrooms and green beans then jumps to mushrooms and tomatoes, then back to pouring mushrooms and green beans into bowls. The tomatoes must disappear somewhere. This was the second recipe I viewed before I stopped reading. I don’t want to second guess every meal I make. .
There is NO way to follow this 21 day meal prep guide and be within the recommended keto macros. This is a terrible meal plan. It is just a bunch of recipes broken up into breakfast,lunch,dinner for 21 days. NO thought was put into the caloric or macro comsumption per day. Also there were so many mistakes and ingredients left out of the ingredient lists but would be listed in the directions. It also appears that most of the directions are written in broken English. .
I just received this book today and it does not appear to have been written competently. A lot of the sections are very confusing with multiple spelling and punctuation mistakes. It almost seems like this is a rough draft and not the final book. I haven’t even read the recipe section yet and I just want to stop. Needs a lot of work before a bigginer would ever want to read or use this meal prep book. .
Someone should have proofread this. Typos & grammatical errors throughout entire book. Foods missing from ingredient lists but mentioned in the directions. Recipes duplicated with different titles. I would not attempt to make any of these recipes. I was really disappointed, was looking forward to meal prep. .

I am going to give my honest opinion. Some cons: I think the writing could be better. There are typos and I found it difficult to read- I think the author could benefit from an editor who could consolidate the information in a more cohesive and “to the point” way. Not all recipes have ketogenic ratio (although the vast majority are low carb)Pros: Each recipe lists the macros. While I use a diet calculator app to count macros- this book provides a lot of recipes I can grab directly for meal plans. Many are under 10 net carbs. Many are basic and would be good for newbies, but some of the cheese recipes are ones I haven’t seen before.That being said, I think this book is good for basics. For someone who is experienced with both vegan and ketogenic diets, there may not be much that will be new, but you might find yourself turning to this book for ideas. I commend the author for contributing a resource for the ketogenic-vegan diet as I believe this may be one of the most beneficial diets out there. .

And to be completely honest it was hard. None of the recipes overly excited me.Scratch that. I tried one. The cheddar cheese. It was awful. But that’s only my opinion. The garbage can devoured it.I don’t make a ton of money and I’m certainly not going to waste expensive ingredients such as raw cashews and agar on another recipe in this book. If you’re going to publish a cookbook, you’d better make sure every single recipe included is a winner.I would’ve given it zero stars, but it was beautifully designed. I’m very disappointed with this book. I had read that there were multiple typos, but I didn’t realize that they were so severe that many recipes are missing ingredients in the list. I love cooking and I get my recipes for free off of blogs all of the time. This is the first cookbook I bought, because there aren’t many ketogenic vegan recipes available. If I could go back, I would’ve never bought it. I am still baffled as to how this book is able to be sold, as it seems evident that it was never edited. There are no pictures, and the recipes are extremely short lacking details. I have found so many better free resources! .
For many recipes I read, the ingredients did not match the directions. It would say at the bottom of the list, 10 ingredients when 9 were listed. Another would start the directions saying to put 3 ingredients in the blender, one of which was not on the list so you don’t know how much or exactly what to use – if anything! Not worthwhile. .

I enjoyed reading the book from the beginning. The author has explained her depression over the early years of her life and how she evolved from it. I think most of the readers will be able to relate to her story easily. This keto cookbook is one of the worst books ever written. If I could, I would give it stars. Poorly written, many typos, incorrect sentence structure, to name just a few of the blatant editing errors. The recipes were repeated, repeated, and repeated with just a change in the protein used, ie: beef to pork to chicken. Most recipes had missing ingredients, measurements switched from metric to our system. This book looked like the author called all his friends for their favorite recipes and compiled on his computer at home. Absolutely no editing done. Did he print the content out at home too? The author obviously doesn’t know how to write a paragraph, let alone a book. I requested a refund from Amazon which was provided immediately. They didn’t want the book returned. Hum, wonder why. I burned it. .

This was a fun and factual read of the ketogenic diet along with a meal plan and a few recipes. This diet was first used to treat epilepsy before medication became readily available. So backed with a history I believe the best keto plan would be one derived of clean eating .fresh vegetables, and grass fed animals. The book covers types of vitamins and vitamin deficiencies, plus how to best avoid that. What did I like? If your really serious about a keto diet plan then keeping a written log seems like a must have since there are a ton of things you have to be aware of or suffer a keto flu. Fasting seems like a good way to keep your thoughts organized enough to write down since you’ll only spend a portion of the day eating and the rest in a fasting state. The recipes in the book were very simple beyond a piece of meat and a bunch of vegetables. The author helps us out by adding nutrition facts per serving in case we are counting calories or nutrients. Would I recommend or buy? Sure, this would definitely benefit someone looking to start a keto diet with a well balanced look at everything that encompasses the diet. People already knowledgeable would get very little additional information from this book. Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on this very basic intro to keto style eating book. This is the best medical math reference guide available in laminated 3-ring form. Highly recommend! .
I bought this Medical Math chart in order to help me study for my upcoming Pharmacy Technician licence. I love that it is laminated so nothing can ruin it as I will be using it alot. what a waste of money. This is not a medical math reference guide. It is a conversion guide. There are about 3-4 different med math examples and the rest is conversions and normal values. It’s not that it isn’t useful information, but it is misrepresented. Don’t bother if what you really want is dosage calculations. .
