These pens are everything I was hoping for. They look beautiful, are great to write with, and I get so many complements on them. I work in an office where I work with the public. So I see a lot of people. I actually bought it first from the store, but then a customer took the pen. By accident, is what I tell myself. I went online to see if I could get it cheaper. Not only cheaper, but I was able to get a whole box. It made it so I could share with other employees!! I will be buying them when I run out of pens. Oh and I use the pen everyday. The ink lasts a long time, and it is very comfortable to write with. .
Really good pens. They write smooth and as a left handed writer, I am not smearing it all over. I write small and this pen doesn’t make each letter look like a single glob of ink. .
Purchased these pens to give to the Veteran’s at my place of employment. They appreciated them. .
Gave these out to my team at work as a 4th of July gift. They love them and, as usual, the RSVP writes like a dream! .

These are my favorite pens! They write smooth and don’t have as much smudging which is important for a lefty. The colors are beautiful. .
These pens are so awesome! I have 4 college courses back to back and these pena allow me to vigorously take notes with no discomfort whatsoever. They are able to do this because of the comfy grip, along with smooth application to the paper. I am also very pleased with how they come in a variety of colors to allow my OCD self to color coordinate my classes notes. I included pictures to show the bleedthrough difference from notebook paper to a medium quality piece of printer paper. The notebook paper as you can see has some noticeable bleedthrough, but it does not take away from the readability of the writing. On the printer paper you can see it is almost non-existent. If you look super closely there is just a tiny itty bit, but nothing too noteworthy. I would also like to note I have never had smearing issues these dry very quickly. I am however right handed so it is not typically an issue I face. .
I am a lover of a good pen! I will blatantly, unapologetically steal them from friends, family, and strangers alike if it’s a good one! But that has changed! I have given away all of my ill-gotten gains, because I cannot bring myself to use any other pen but this one. It HAS to be this specific one! Pentel EnerGel RTX Retractable, Metal tip, Bold 1.0mm, in black! I will chase a person down if they “accidentally” (yeah right!) walk off with it! Glides on paper like no pen I’ve used before! What does it say about me that I’m THIS crazy about a pen? Kinda sad, huh? But seriously, GREAT PEN!! .
A friend recommended these pens to me. I’m a teacher and they’re great for providing feedback to my students! So, I bought some more for my daughter. She’s a scientist and uses them to highlight papers she is working on. The ink is bright, flows without skips, dries fast so it doesn’t smear, and the pens are comfortable to hold. .

This ink is very thick and does not bleed into mulberry paper. I included a picture of the tonalities. They begin with a brown undertone and dry to a slate grey. Product arrived undamaged. .
The ink has a pleasant scent in addition to being good ink. I played with it some tonight. I still need to work on the relationship of ink and water to paper. This ink smells good and looks good, regardless of what you do to it. Very competitive with the other ink of its type I’ve found online or elsewhere .
This gold ink can be used on any type of paper and looks great. This picture is painted on black canvas. Its versatility is surprising and delightful. Unlike most gold paint or ink it is smooth and opaque. .
I just got my ink from HMAY. This ink is great. It is smooth and rich. Perfect for ink painting. I do not create calligraphy but suspect it is wonderful for that also. If you love the smell of ink like I do, you will not be disappointed with the fragrance. I am very pleased with my purchase. This is a well-made and firm foam roller. I have a 12 one in another brand and wanted a longer firm one (36) so I can do exercises for my back and shoulders where I can lie on the length of the roller. I got the 36 one and it measures 35 1/4 inches in length and slightly less than 6 inches in diameter. I like that it is firm as I have been using rollers for months now and the softer ones just don’t work as well for me. It works really well to stretch out and massage the tight muscles. .
This roller is exactly as described. It is very firm, which is what I wanted. I bought the 36 length. The long length allows me to use it to roll out my back, by laying on it lengthwise and rolling side to side. It seems well made and I expect it to last a long time. Did I say it’s very firm? If you want a roller with very much give or flex, this is not it. .
I bought this in the 24 inch size which I think is the perfect size. The foam roller came well protected in a big box. The roller is super lightweight and my trainer showed me some of the ways to use it. I had locked up my back and we used this to roll out some of the knots. It works as expected .
I was ok with this roller until i started to get my back pinched while rolling at a particular point on the roller. Turns out that there are two small indentations on one section, and my back would get pinched when rolling over them.Not fun when you don’t expect it. .

I love the color and way these pens write. The big problem I have is that they are expensive as pens go, and I consistently have them break on me, making them unusable. I’ve had this issue with other colors of the Energel model as well. What happens is that the barrel inexplicably cracks slightly, so the two halves of the pen don’t stay screwed together and spring apart in your hand. It’s not every single pen, and it’s not immediately, but I have had it happen more often than not, and it’s extremely wasteful and frustrating for the high cost. .
I used Zebra Sarasa 1.0 Black pens for well over 20 years. It was the best inker out there. But, then around 2009 they switched their manufacturing from Japan to Mexico. Nothing against Mexico but the quality of the ink flow dropped dramatically. I called Zebra when yet another box of 12 pens had 3 to 5 that just simply refused to work properly. They sent me a free dozen but with a “Who cares what you think of our product” attitude. Rude lady she was. Really. I guess product loyalty means nothing to some companies anymore. Well, guess what Zebra, you lose. I’ve spread the word about you for all this time but no more. Perhaps this is why I stopped being able to find your pens in Walgreens or any other store anymore?Point is, after tons of research, I decided to try Pentel. This particular pen suits my need for smoothness perfectly. Zero skipping. And a nice 1.0 thickness. Thanks Pentel for catching me and keeping me writing. .
Let me start out by saying that this is a great pen! Let me also say I canâ€™t believe the number of people that are complaining about minor things with this pen. People, this is a $2.15 pen when bought by the dozen. Of course itâ€™s not going to last for months on end. If you want a pen that will last longer, but the 0.5, it will last nearly 3 times as long. The 1.0 lays down a beautifully even thick coat of water-based ink that doesnâ€™t smudge. I prefer the 1 mm because it has a rich broad stroke and very smooth writing characteristics. These are Japanese designed pens, made in Japan. For those that complain about the price, there are plenty of Chinese made pens for half the money or less that will write the same letters and numbers without the smooth flow of quality ink you get in Japanese or German pens. This is an ergonomically designed pen with extremely high-quality ink that flows smoothly and doesnâ€™t smudge. .
I LOVE THESE PENS! They are the only pens I will write with at work. I buy them myself because I love the darkness of the ink, the fast drying gel and the smoothness of flow. Regrettably I have gotten a few duds, but they are few and far between. The ink writes on virtually any surface without smearing. I am constantly having people steal them from me, hence I buy in bulk. Whenever I let someone borrow one I always hear Wow! this is a nice pen, where did you get this? They come in a plethora of different colors and all of them write as smooth as silk. You can use them for adult coloring books, journaling, drawing, sketching, mandalas, it is the ultimate doodling pen. Comfortable, easy to hold, ergonomic and long lasting. I take tons of notes everyday and buy refills for these pens. .
