1 – Desktop Calculator with 12 Digit LCD Display Screen, Home or Office Use, Easy to use with Clear Display/Memory Functions, CD-2775 (Teal)
Top Reviews I wanted a basic calculator of a decent size with decent size buttons. This one fit the bill. I like the orange color and the fact that it can use both solar and battery. I also got this because it has more digits on the screen than my last calculator (8 digits vs. 12 digits). What I did not know about this calculator at the time I bought this was that I can set the number of digits after the decimal (useful for calculating money) and it has a +/- button (which my other calculator did not have). These may not sound like a big deal, but they are useful for me! . Received today. Love the color purple. Great size. Seems to work fine. Giving it 2 stars because there is no metal cover. The only reason I chose this was it’s size with a cover per the description. Really needed a protected calculator for frequent travel. Disappointed to say the least! . This calculator is just the right size and has just the right number of functions and digits for my daily use. I also really like the bright color. I recommend this machine for anyone who uses a basic calculator plus on a regular basis. . So perfect! This calculator is just what I wanted. It’s just as described. I’ve had it for a while now and it is great! My favorite color is yellow, so this makes me happy! Get it! Read more
2 – Calculator, Helect Compact Design Standard Function Handheld Portable Calculator – H1007
Top Reviews I had to take a certification exam that only allowed primitive calculators like this (no cell phones were allowed). I got this one because it seemed like the best combination of features and price. It’s a nice calculator, but when it arrived, the battery was dead or at least I thought it was the battery, so I had to turn around and order batteries for it. It only takes one, but button cells aren’t sold individually as a rule. Fortunately, it was a dead battery and now I have a bunch of batteries for a calculator that I’m probably not going to use very much. The buttons are very easy to push, almost too easy. This doesn’t have a case, and the on/off buttons are also easy to push, and are located on the keyboard, so it’s easy to turn this on and off accidentally. This is a problem when you think it is turned off and something brushes the keyboard and turns it on. I expect this is probably why the battery was dead when I got it, so you can’t really carry it around with you. Even the box has some flex to it, enough that it wouldn’t prevent this accidentally turning on when in your bag, even in its box. It functioned for what I needed it for, but I don’t see using it or the batteries I had to buy for it very much in the future. . It’s a simple, inexpensive calculator, but it does just what it’s supposed to do. I purchased it for an upcoming exam where I would not be allowed to use the calculator on my phone. This has no trigonometric nor statistical functions, but does the basic math I need. I like the big, easy-to-read buttons! One thing to watch out for if you put it into a bag or backpack, it may be inadvertently turned on. The ON button is positioned and constructed where it can be pressed by other items in your bag. . I needed a primitive calculator for my math class as my accommodations. What i like: Quiet keys, the keys feel nice, it’s a skinny calculator, the color of it, has +/- feature, square root & percent, along with normal 4 functions. What i DONT like: no solar power, only battery, no cover so it can easily turn on in my bag for who knows how long, the fact i have to type a number and then hit the – option. Example: -4, to get this into the calculator u have to do 4 then hit -Overall: If you want a black four function calculator and want to pay more than it’s worth, buy on amazon, i found the same one with solar option for $3.99 at target. . I mean I guess I don’t really know what I was expecting, but for the price I thought it would at least be made of better material. It’s no different than a $1 calculator and I am disappointed. If it had been $1 I would feel fine about it but it’s just grossly over priced for a not worthy product. Read more
