The case was unscratched and felt as if it had just come out of its original packaging; it works flawlessly and was at an extremely good price, plus it came in a nice color. Don’t get me wrong- this NOOKO Architect & Engineer set is high quality and a great value! But who really thinks you can read white marks on black background (against white paper) better than black marks on a white background??Now maybe I am using negative psychology but for real: I cannot read this new black ruler as well as my 25 year old beat up & yellowed Staedler! So I am returning it. But if the negative works for you- by all means get it- this is otherwise as good as it gets for the money.But if you need to charge a few bucks more for old school white background with black etchings- I will gladly buy from you!!! Now that would be a product I could enjoy working with!! .
I am no drafting professional but often I like to put my ideas down on paper. This set allows me to be much more precise with scale.This set of drafting rulers are top notch. They are solidly constructed, with impeccable imprinted scales, and are easy to read. Each comes in an individual protective sleeve, that can also be used to store them in. And, the black color gives them a distinctive look. A great value I am happy with my purchase .
I like the color black (easier to find amongst a bunch of white papers) with contrasting white measuring divisions and the sturdiness of the metal. Happy to find these in a set with engineering and architectural, plus a bonus clear ruler/straight edge. .
These are nice solid metal scales, you get all three, one ruler, one engineers scale, and one architectural scale. Everyone who picks them up likes their solidity. They are also easy to read.UPDATE: one of my co-workers was admiring these, so I bought him a set. .
