I know nowadays nobody wears watches, and those that do usually have something expensive like a Rolex or whatever. I’d be lost without this watch though. I never know what day it is or what the date is and I’m always wondering what time it is. All I have to do is glance down at my wrist and all of that information is right there plain as day. Without it filling out paperwork really sucks.If you’re going to have a watch you may as well have one that is actually useful to you, I say. For me, this is the perfect watch. It’s better than all of those new smart watches because this one has a 10 year battery and let’s be honest here if you have a cellphone you really don’t need to watch videos on your watch. All you really need is the time and date, and this does exactly that in an easy to read way and it’s not going to die on you when you forget to charge it at night. .
I received my watch today. It’s a nice looking watch, it’s new, but luckily it wasn’t broken due to the horrible packaging. It didn’t come in the protective case, only a box and the watch band holder. It didn’t even have the protective film over the screen. I’m surprised that the face wasn’t scratched. This is the first item that I’ve ever ordered from Amazon that came poorly packaged such as this item. Other than that, the watch seems to be working fine. I am disappointed with the packaging because it is a gift for someone. Im giving four stars because I can’t give 3.5, and its only because of the packaging. .
Excellent replacement for an old Casio I wore everyday that just got worn out, this one is the perfect size and easy to read day or night. I get compliments on it all the time, would recommend this as a casual night out or every day watch. .

While surfing through my phone, I found out that I had taken photos of this watch and other products that I purchased from last year. I had forgotten that I had bought this watch, so I decided to stop by and talk about it. This was a gift for my grandpa, and I don’t have the watch anymore. Therefore, this review won’t be very detailed. I am going to lay my cards on the table and write my first impressions anyhow.The watch looks really gorgeous. That gold color is really eye-catching in such good ways. The digital display is big enough to tell the time, let alone the orange backlight which is bright and very attractive. The band is adjustable, and you just have to pull a small clasp and then fit it to your wrist size. I am grateful to Casio for including a detailed manual because this watch has a lot of features. It would be a pain to try to figure out all the different modes by ourselves, especially for the elderly. The watch is small, perfect for those who have small wrists. I suppose that the world time feature would be good for people who travel a lot.The only thing I complain about is that the metal band doesn’t have plating inside. I mean you still can see the original gray-metallic color underneath when you extend the strap. If you’re not so nitpicky about this, you probably won’t have any problem with this watch.All in all, this is a pristine watch, and I wasn’t expecting less. My first watch was a Casio, and I know that these things last quite a while. You see there why I bought it. Believe me when I say that it looks better in person than in the photos. If you like a classic design watch from the 80’s, don’t think it through and go for it. .
Casio World Timer replaces my trusty 38 year Seiko World Timer.Not as perfect as my 1978 Seiko World Timer but close enough. After 38 years and multiple times around the world having so far visited 124 countries my old trust Seiko original World Timer finally gave up the time ghost. With trips coming up I frantically searched for a replacement and discovered the Casio Gold World Time Stainless. Although a wee bit complicated I quickly got the hang of it and now (Hopefully) have another timer friend to travel with this planet with.Simple classy design and best of all it keeps military style 24 time. Lots of helpful youtube videos. Very simple to set adjustable band clasp. Easy to read face. DO NOT lose the accompanying operations manual.All in all a perfect watch for the international traveler–NOT big, bulky and flashy, but slim, attractive and lightweight. Also has stop watch, timer and multiple alarm features. Button controlled light illuminates the face if needed. .
Very nice watch. I travel a lot (got 2 million air miles on me) and this is just what I need. It can display up to four different city time zones, and you can switch which one is your “home” city very easily. The little map showing the displayed time zone is also a very nice feature. It’s easy to set up and adjust. Once your home city, time, day, date, month, are set, all other time zones in the world are automatic. You can even individually set daylight savings time by city–a very nice feature. Has extra functions like alarm clock, stop watch, etc., which I don’t use very much. The internal light works well, and you can set it for either 1.5 or 3 seconds duration. The band looks great, is easy to adjust (does not require removing links), and does not pinch & pull arm hairs like other metal bands I’ve had. The clasp works fine on mine. There is a wide “hook” that catches over a bar first, then you press the clasp down and it snaps in place. It works very well, and the hook would probably serve as kind of a safety, in case the clasp ever popped open–which is not likely. Over all, looks very handsome–like it’s a lot more expensive than it really is. I love it. If you’re a road warrior and need a good, full featured, easy to use world-watch that looks great and works great, this is the best one I’ve ever found. .

I wear this every day. I love the display, easy to read, and the light is very convenient. I had to stop wearing it to work though because my job is too rough for it. I must make one comment though, I was very disappointed when I figured out that I couldn’t change the watch strap. The metal scratches my wrist and has the potential to scratch other surfaces. .

I’ve worn the black plastic version of this watch for many years and always liked it except that the strap always seemed to break, and it was silly to pay almost as much for a new strap, as for an entire new watch. Decided to try this design, and like it well so far. The strap, obviously, is different and is taking some getting used to. Easily adjusted it to be a better fit than as it arrived, but I wish I could get it just a little bit tighter. Overall–seems fine, and is much better looking than the old one. .
As a long-time wearer of Casio calculator watches with resin bands, I tired of tossing the watches when the bands broke. So far, this metal-banded version has been working fine and looks great. I was surprised by how much heavier the metal band is, but that’s on me, not the watch. After wearing it a few times the weight was no longer noticeable. Recommended. .
My husband has worn this style of calculator watch for 20 years but with the black plastic band. This is the first time I’ve seen it in the silver so I got it for him for Christmas. He loves it! He feels like he is dressed up when he wears it. I got him this one and a spare black band one. He has only worn this one. I have a feeling I will be replacing the silver one over the years as we have replaced his black ones every few years. They don’t last forever if you wear them every day. He is very hard on things like this and he is pleased with the performance. This is a great watch and my husband loves it. He won’t wear anything else for everyday use. I would recommend it for any guy that likes having the calculator functionality. Come on guys, dress yourselves up a bit. .

All in all, despite some minor flaws this is a great watch. Its minimalist design makes it a great formal watch and a great street wear watch. I’ve had several compliments and i think having the world map really gives it a nice look. i have a thicc wrist and this has more than enough adjustment room. i could make this extremely loose fitting if i wanted. so if you think it might be tight on your wrists, don’t worry!only two issues. when you adjust the strap it can kind of damage/ scuff the finish of the strap. this isn’t a huge deal and some of the scuffs come out but it is a consideration.another is more of a knit pick but the “light” function on it lasts like 2 seconds max before it cuts off. it feels way too short imo. idt that’ll influence most people’s buying decision but just a note regardless. .
Let’s be honest, you’re buying this because you either collect digital watches, you’re a hipster trying to look the retro part, or this is a watch you remember wearing back when you were young.I picked this up to see what the hype was about, and I was not disappointed AT ALL.It was reasonably easy to setup, and looked great on the wrist. I personally scooped this up because I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and immediate understood. It’s lightweight, fun, and infinitely retro. You certainly won’t be using this to pick up ladies in bars, so at the relative low cost of the watch makes it a no-brainer to pick up if you’re looking for a retro faux-“gawdy” digital piece of wrist candy or a conversation with the elderly about what they used to wear when they were kids. .
This watch is very awesome it has a lot of features such as: world time, cronometer, night light, shows the date and month, u can also set the watch for example: U can set the watch for u to complete a task within an hour or 2 etc which is the best thing that I like in my personal opinion. I strongly recommend this watch if u like a watch that includes all this features that I mentioned .
I love the look of this watch. The green colored world map is a lot of fun and is functional to use for adjusting time zones quickly. It’s cool to see what the time is in places you travel to and get the visual of the map being highlighted. It also has typical Casio functions like alarm, timer, stopwatch. It is lightweight and once you adjust the size to the wrist is very comfortable.Overall I am very happy with it, but people should know that the gold tone is very cheaply applied and on the part of bracelet that you will rest you arm on, there will be paint loss and it does not take much time to lose it. Top and sides still look good but I don’t see this holding up to daily wear for years and years. .

I was on the search for a cheap great watch that I could use as a daily beater. Well I have found it.Pros:Its inexpensive yet has a great build quality. Keeps great time, has an easy to see lume option, timer is great for work, and the alarm is just loud enough but subtle enough to keep you on track.Cons:The only con that I experience is that the clasp on the bracelet was hard to adjust and I still have trouble getting it to a perfect fit. I would advise buying another strap to put this on. .

I ordered this for my middle son for Christmas, he is a watch Connoisseur meaning he loves watches and I know for a fact this one is going to be at the top of the list of his favorites once he receives it.I have been letting it run to see if it keeps good and accurate time and so far it seems to be right on the money so that is a must with him, which it is with most everyone that wears a watch.This watch has a nice heavy duty band which is made to where you can fit the right size as your wrist, it also includes a band adjuster so you can take the links out if you need it smaller.It has a nice big watch face which I personally really like, it is very stylish and also includes stainless steel, sapphire crystal lens and is scratch and water resistant. This is a larger watch styled in the manner of a classic chronograph. The sub-dials are all functional, and the movement is a medium-to-high quality Japanese one. The sapphire crystal ensures that there will be no scratches. So what’s not to like? This is a piddle, AND a matter of taste, but I’ve always found that the more complicated the watch dial, the better off the watch is with an uncomplicated band. In this case, both the dial and band are complicated, and the whole looks just too busy. I replaced the stock metal band with a green rubber “sport” band from my spare parts box (a standard 20mm size), and the watch now looks MUCH more elegant and also looks like a far more expensive watch. A simple leather band might look even more elegant, but i didn’t have one at the time. Of course, looks are a matter of taste, and you may like the looks just as is. Looks aside – Considering the quality of this watch (including its sapphire crystal and screw in back), you just can’t beat the price. I recommend the watch highly. .
The watch is acceptable quality for the price and seems accurate. It is very large (as seems to be the trend these days) and looks kind of gaudy to me because of that. I will say that it’s very readable, but it just looks “cheap.” it looks nicer in the pictures.The band is kind of awkward as well; it comes with an adjusting tool to take out the links which works well but you have to make the adjustment in full links – most bracelet type bands have a way to do smaller adjustments in addition to full links. For me this means the band is either just a little too tight or way too loose. It’s also a strange double clasp system that can be kind of difficult to snap closed. The chrono functions seem to work ok. .

I just received this watch in the mail and I could not contain my excitement. However upon inspection, I noticed that the watch had many flaws. For one, the watch band was scratched and felt very cheaply made. The clasp that allows you to adjust the length to fit your write was also a bit bent out of shape and thus made it difficult to adjust the watch to my wrist size. It was also almost impossible to pry the clasp open and shut. The metal band was also very loose – there were noticeable gaps between the metal. The face of the watch also had some weird defects. There were these little chips along the glass(?)/plastic face.I’m not sure if I got a defective watch or anything, but I know I won’t be buying from this seller/company again. Be wary when making a purchase. .
Very nice watch, im not sure if it’s adjustable so if you have slim wrist it might not fit you nicely. It looks very nicely in rose gold, the backlight works perfectly and the digital feature is great for people who don’t like the analog or can’t read analog.Edit. You can adjust the strap. I ordered this after my old Casio watch finally broke and the new one I ordered arrived with a broken clasp. I really like how the style of this watch is so similar to the Casio Men’s A158WA watch (I’ve been wearing that same style Casio forever and always just reorder after it breaks every 4-5 yrs).When it arrived I instantly regretted choosing gold! I think this could be an issue of personal taste though (I guess gold looks especially awful with my skin tone?), but regardless, I had no watch so I was resigned to wearing it despite its ugliness (although I immediately ordered yet ANOTHER Casio watch w/o even waiting to return the broken one I’d just been sent). For reference, the 2 Casio style watches similar to this one are usually only a couple $ more, but I figured I’d just keep this one as a spare after the new watch arrived.Unfortunately, I can’t even do that! I guess I’m allergic to something in the metal or paint b/c this watch gave me a rash! To be fair though, I do seem to have sensitive skin and tend to get weird rashes from jewelry (never been able to figure out what it is I’m allergic to b/c it only happens with some metals).Most people probably won’t have that issue. The main problem people might run into with this watch is that the watch face is extremely shiny (extra cheap-looking) and the LED numbers are like the digits on a cheap solar calculator! You have to look it from a certain angle and distance to see the time rather than a bunch of unlit digits. And I don’t know what material the face is made out of but it seems to be easily scratched (I only wore this watch for a day and it already somehow acquired a scrape on its face), which will eventually make the time even HARDER to tell!The only good things I can say about this watch (and there actually ARE some good things about it) is that I really like the nightlight function and the colors they offer. The nightlight function on this watch is actually better than Casio’s b/c instead of the whole screen turning blue only the digits turn blue (wish it was like that all the time!). And even though I didn’t like the gold color, I think the rose gold shade would’ve looked better.This watch also has a nice slim, low-profile, just like the Casio model A158WA watch! For some reason, it’s really hard to find a watch like that. Sadly, I think Casio has actually stopped making the A15 model in favor of their newer vintage electro luminescence (A16) watch, which is almost exactly the same only it has a slightly thicker casing (I prefer it slimmer so it doesn’t stick out and get caught on stuff). .
When I say this watch saved me, I mean it lmao. I had bought a watch from H&M over the summer that costed $30 (I only paid $13 for it) but anyway that watched broke in the water when i went swimming and i was so upset, it was terrible and my heart was broken. Finding a watching like this on the internet for this price is honestly very hard so feeling more discouraged than ever I took a chance on this guy and holy crap im glad I did. this watch not only tells time but it is shows date, has a stopwatch, alarm, is waterproof and freaking lights up?!?!? does it get better than this??? I ordered this sucker in July and have no joke put it on my wrist every single day every single time I’ve left the house since and this babe still works like a dream. did a couple rhinestones fall off.? sure, maybe like two . and is the rose gold coloring just barely scratching off to reveal a silver sheen underneath ? i mean i suppose but i would myself at fault for those much more than this watch i one time dead ass dropped it out of a car window (on accident of course) but let me tell you, if you order this watch you probably (I have no idea the likelihood of these chances) receive a watch the same quality as mine and it too will save you. .

After a few uses it became loose and one day the whole watch fell off during rush hour commuting on the london tube and was never seen again. So disappointed and upset to loose it after only 3 weeks. .

This is a very nice watch for the price that you can wear every day. Just a couple of notes:1. The band is quite long and I had to remove three links which is something I have never had to do with any other watch and I have a 9 wrist.2. Removing the links is very simple using the included pin remover. A couple of light taps and the pins fall out.3. The instructions for removing the link pins shows a tool that is not included but also not needed. The shown tool is available on Amazon if you care.4. As with other watches with the same type of band, I wish that the band had a couple of smaller links for finer adjustment.5. NOTE. Unless the stem is screwed back in after adjusting the time/date, it is not water proof. .
I was looking for a watch as a gift for my cousin who is in his early 20’s. I had a little more budget than this ones price but I liked the brown color , square shape and the texture of its belt . Hence I went ahead. I was still a little skeptical about the quality but with amazon, return is always an option.But i was overwhelmed with its classy looks and shiny texture. Surely looks more than its price and I am happy I went ahead with it. The dial is perfectly sized. Not big and not small for a normal wrist. The packaging is impressive as well.Overall a perfect gift. .

Was looking for something other than the extremely common round-face, and since I prefer right angles and horizontals, so to speak, I was drawn to this design. Keeps time like a champ, isn’t cumbersome or bulky or heavy, and didn’t cost me the souls of my relatives. I wear it with a polished steel and black carbon fiber bracelet I bought, and they complement each other well, along with a ring that shines some light, so all 3 wear well together. Received several compliments within first week. Of note: the link removal pin doesn’t work well so I bought a $6 link removal tool and that did the trick. .

Setting time and alarms works well. Strangely, instructions stress the importance of keeping strap sweat and oil free several times. Battery supposed to last 5 years. I was informed by milennials that this is a VINTAGE rather than a RETRO watch. .

Also noticed that with gold hands and gold watch face it is somewhat hard to see the time in dim lighting. Overall though I must give it a 5 star rating considering price and appearance. .
Was a gift .and they liked it alot .

This is my go-to everyday watch. If you have a thin wrist, this watch will probably be a great size for you because it’s not overwhelming at all. I especially love how the face of the watch is black, displayed white numbers – I’ve never seen that before, and I think since it matches the black border, it really harmonizes the face of this watch. Just a great, classic looking timepiece that matches everything.The only small issue is that the band is quite long for a thin wrist, and if you adjust it for length, the long tail might awkwardly slip out from under the band. To fix that, I suggest removing the excess watch band and then adjusting it to your length. .
I had a different Casio and upgraded to this. But I am not happy because the cheaper watch was clearer. With this it is necessary to use the light to read the time clearly. Also, miss the timer feature. The band and face look high style but the utility features were disappointing. Too dark to read the time and date. .

Great retro vintage casio watch, great color and I didn’t expect to noticed that this model is a Japan unit, this module (593) is lighter and smaller than the module (3298) I have a A168WE I love that oversize. About the light it is very poor but keep in mind that this model was released previous years Casio introduced the illuminator, so don’t expect a great light buy yet an awesome retro look, I definitely want to buy the plated version the A159W-N1DF, unfortunately the watch didn’t came with the plastic case to storage like the last picture, just came with the casio carton box .
The watch itself is fine. My problem was that I was unaware of the bracelet style: It’s the type that opens into 2 parts, so you to fumble with the links to have it re-connect in order to close it. I took it to a watch repair and replaced this 2 part bracelet with one that stays together, for much simpler closing of the bracelet. I paid almost as much for the new band as I did for the original watch, but it was worth it to get rid of that cheap bracelet. The watch seems to be very accurate, having compared it to WWV for several weeks at this point. .
Nice watch design but pretty sure it’s not genuine the red flag is the light is a little bulb that doesn’t light it even enough to read in the dark off to the side, instead of an actual illuminated screen from behind. Sending back. .
My wife wanted this specific watch I guess its kinda retro but hipster now but well it works well (Casio’s always do) battery last a long time and she likes the looks.Quality its so so, I mean this is the budget line of Casio so you get the quality intended for that price point. The lock mechanism is a pain to use but once set you can get used to it. .

As a pediatric registered nurse, I need a durable watch that is water resistant and easy to read. I am so glad that I found this one. It is exactly what I have been looking for. The large multi-colored numbers stand out clearly against the white background, making them easy to read. I really love how the bright colors coordinate well with all of my different brightly patterned scrubs. The watch is definitely water resistant. It gets wet very frequently as I wash my hands throughout my shift. I have had no problems with moisture getting in to the watch. It has been very dependable and maintained the time and date accurately. The date however, is a little hard to see because it is so small. The plastic watch band is corrugated by the watch face and has lots of sizing holes so it doesnt get water trapped under it. The band feels nice and strong but it is flexible, making it very comfortable to wear. It is a great watch for nurses or other medical personnel. .
My wife loves this watch. She has been looking for a simple watch to run, work, and do life with. She is very satisfied. The watch is small, lightweight, and comfortable. It is also easy to clean. .
This watch is awesome! I am a pre-nursing student and got this watch so I can use it at the hospital. It’s got a 24 hour clock and has the date. It’s waterproof and works very well, plus it’s aesthetically pleasing. I took it with me while vacationing in Hawaii, swam with it several times in the salty Ocean and it still works! I love it! .

This is a fantastic looking watch! Granted, the bracelet is thin stainless steel, not heavy duty. But what do you expect at this price thick, heavy links? Get real. At this price point, this is a beautiful watch!The band has a single fold, with button, clasp again, not heavy duty but it does the job just fine.I like this watch so much, I’m ordering the silver one with black dial.Also, be aware that you will probably need to remove some of the links for the best fit. You can pay a jeweler to do it. Or, you can order a very inexpensive watch link remover. I ordered the SE JT6305A Watch Link Remover with 5 Pins, from Amazon, for $3.97 and yes, it worked just fine. You might also want to purchase an inexpensive watchmaker’s hammer. I got mine at Harbor Freight for $4.49. You don’t really need the hammer but it did come in handy and I can use it for other purposes.In addition, when you need to replace the batteries, you can see that the stainless steel back is a screw on back. I searched YouTube on using a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the back, if you’d like to do it yourself. Or you can also purchase an inexpensive watch case opener. Or, you can pay a jeweler.Again, this is a really nice watch for the price. I have no regrets having ordered it, and like I said I’m even ordering the silver and black one. .

Nice tough watch. I’ve gotten it mildly wet, I wear it every day, and I’ve only had to wind it once since buying it probably about a year ago. I am so in love with this watch that I don’t wanna take it off! It suits small wrists in my opinion, since it’s small. The golden color is not too flashy yet not too off. I bought this watch in November 2017 from Amazon. The band is supposed to be leather but it is leather only on the top. The under part of the band is not leather and is falling apart. I called Timex and they said the warranty on the band is only for 1 month. Therefore I would have to buy a new band. These bands are hard to find because they are so small. It is too bad that I cannot wear the watch because the band is broke after only 6 months. Buyer Beware! .
I’ve been looking for an oval watch and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I am a fan of small watches so this is perfect size for me, but beware this is smaller than most other small watches on the market. The strap is especially thin, maybe only ~7mm where it buckles and ~9mm where it joins the watch face. For its price it’s definitely good value. Simple and dainty, I like it! (FYI I’m 5’5, 125 lbs) .
I love the classy vintage look of the oval watch face. I bought this and then bought a 9mm brown “alligator” texture strap to immediately replace the black strap as I think the gold goes better with brown. There is an oval timex on Amazon with a brown strap, but it’s double the price! So if you want the oval face and brown strap just buy them separately. You will need to use the pins that come with the original strap though—don’t throw them out till you know if you need them.The watch came with the turner pulled out so the battery wasn’t running, but there was not the usual plastic stopper like on most timex watches so I realize I may need to replace the battery within the first few months. I usually buy timex from Target, but I can never seem to find this face style.So far this is a nice watch. I’ll edit if I have problems with it.See pictures to see the size difference between this watch and the Timex Easy Reader. .
I liked the trim design and simple look. That’s why I bought the watch. But I also wanted the watch to tell time and it has not done that reliably. The watch didn’t work when I received it so I bought a brand new battery. The watch then worked for a short time but again stopped. I wish I’d simply returned this Timex while I still could. But I thought maybe I’d been sold a bad battery since I believed Timex to be a reliable brand. But yesterday’s brand-new battery allowed the watch to work for only a few hours. Now it has stopped again. It was a mistake not to send it back immediately after it stopped working the first time. It is extremely frustrating and annoying to waste money this way as I am a senior on a tight budget. .

I looked up the model number of this watch here on Amazon to try to find out what replacement battery the watch takes, because after 2+ years, mine died. I had to laugh when I got the search results page and started looking at the MQ-24’s .I can’t believe the face varieties! Descriptions tell what replacement battery it takes, but as far as I can tell, there’s no way to open the case without demolishing the watch! :DNo matter if it lasts 2 years, it’s probably worth just getting another watch, at the current cost of batteries. I paid $6 for mine when I got it, and I have to say it was worth every penny! $3 per year ain’t bad for a watch! It’s gone up a little, but I’m ordering another one.Being retired, I rarely wear a watch anyway, but it kept pretty accurate time when I needed one. Yes, it even LOOKS cheap too, with its rubber wrist band and obviously plastic case. And the plastic crystal scratches very easily. But who cares?! I have jarred, abused and mistreated this watch, and it kept on going.This is definitely the one to get if you just want a CHEAP watch!(For those who want to take this watch seriously: It is small the plastic crystal is 1-1/16 in diameter; its weight is 6/10 oz. The maximum wrist diameter it will fit is 2-1/2, and the smallest is about 1-5/8. The thickness is just a hair over 1/4.) .
My original intent for buying this watch was less for the fashion side of it — but that’s a plus! Seeing that the primary building I’m in at my university didn’t have visible clocks (There are some but they’re in rooms) and I had lost my phone a few times over the year, I thought a watch would be a great investment. Overall this is great watch for the price. It might get a little bit scratched, but that’s to be expected — especially if you do lots of moving around. It’s nice though.As for those with thick wrists or huge arms/hands, this may not be the best watch for you. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the size. For me, my wrist is small and this fits nicely. It’s also an extra perk that the band isn’t metal of any sort and the battery holder is stainless steel. Quality control should ALWAYS be able to determine a watch’s functionality before sending to a customer.The watch itself feels like any Casio resin band/plastic face watch. Does feel a bit flimsy, but it’s part of the charm for the price.I am a woman with a small wrist who tried this style after reading some negative reviews that it was too small in band size and face size for other men. But it was still very large. I could definitely find a band hole that worked, but the watch laid in a weird spot on my wrist and the tail of the watch band barely had enough room to double over on the inside of the band. If you have a smaller wrist, this band may be problematic. As far as looks go, it was a very normal sized watch face. Not overwhelming, but not as small as some gigantic customers have implied who must be used to incredibly clunky watches. .
I do not know how many of these I’ve purchased over many years. Not for myself, they hold up amazingly well, but for others. Mine have been admired for their style, their flexibility, one person even asked if it was from Cartier. I had to tell them “no”, really, not but from Casio and available at a most attractive price. To young men who seemed to live in a time warp, this wasn’t just a nice gift, it was a desperately needed gift as it had the effect of bringing them back, or at least closer to our earth bound 24 hour day, the one divided in to minutes etc. I’ve lost them, destroyed them (harder to do than one might think) and I keep buying them. I have a perfectly fine dress watch but .this is just as good (remember the comments about style and Cartier?). I’ve worn it swimming, whether one was supposed to be able to or not. This watch is poorly designed. When I bought it, I thought it was a direct replacement for my old small-size Casio stopwatch, but it is not. The whole watch is larger and clunky, which is not in itself a deal-breaker. The real problem is that the function buttons do not work reliably. First of all, they are buried between raised ridges, so that it is necessary to carefully push them with a fingertip, at a particular angle, or with a stylus. Even then they only work about 30% of the time. A a stopwatch must function reliably, as soon as the button is pushed, and if one is running intervals or other workouts, there’s no time to stop and examine the button in order to push it exactly the right way, and even then have it fail more than half the time. On my old watch, the buttons worked 100% of the time, no mater how they were pushed. My rating on timer function would be zero, but this is not an option. I do not recommend purchasing this watch. .
This is my second time purchasing this watch. I bought it for the 1st time at Walmart for basic training and then I miss placed it. I’m now on my second deployment and switched out my Apple Watch for this one. And it’s doing the job. I’m kinda petite and the size is great both the face and the wrist size not big and bulky at all. Some times it even hides under my uniform. It makes my Apple Watch feel big and heavy now. But it’s great!!!! .
I LOVE this watch! It’s so cute and is so functional! I’m a nurse that needs a watch with seconds but I also wanted something that I could wear every day and looks cute and I definitely found it. It’s a bonus that its so inexpensive and I’ve had it for over 6 months now and it has held up the entire time. You can switch between military and regular time, add alarms, use it as a stopwatch and theres a button you can press to illuminate the screen. I have a small-medium frame and the watch does not look too bulky at all on my wrists.UPDATE: watch is still perfect and i still love it after a year and a half. I collect watches, and particularly love the women’s Casio with the countdown timer. This yellow gold / turquoise model is really a looker, and has that amazing countdown timer that you can’t really find on any other watch. It’s prettier in real life, and I get more compliments on this than I do on my Rolex (honest). It’s pretty flashy, and that turquoise really pops. It’s fun, and you can’t beat the price. This Olevs watch is pretty good looking. Like usual I had to remove a couple of links to make it fit my wrist. It’s kinda old school looking but still has the it factor. My wifey doesn’t like it as much as my other ones but I still wear it a lot. The date and day is very easy to set contrary to what others said. Make sure you set the time early in the am like 8-9 am to properly calibrate the watch. Overall, it’s decent and they give you a couple of spare batteries which is nice. They usually last a couple of years so you should be fine. That’s it folks!!! .

This is a nice looking watch. I took three links out of the ‘lower’ half of the bracelet to fit my 7 1/8 wrist. Mine came with both the pick as well as a pin vise. The ring of diamonds glitter nicely in the light. I feel a little guilty getting so much watch for so little money. It is a welcome addition to my growing collection. .
