I was on the market for a new calculator for my work desk. Shopping for something with large keys and a fairly sizable screen, (didn’t necessarily need the screen to be a huge screen, just one of a decent size) I can’t lie, I was a little disappointed last week when this piece arrived. The buttons are an okay size, however the screen is tiny. Also, the 9 and the 7 keys both stick when I punch them, so there is really no fast calculating Anything with one of these two digits involved.I normally don’t do this sort of thing over an item that’s less than $10. However, I specifically received an email this morning requesting my opinion.Unfortunately, this is all I have to share.I will be purchasing a new one at some point this weekend to take to work next week. .
I gave this calculator 3 stars. It is accurate for basic math (which is all I needed it for). The display screen is not as described and for the size it should have a larger display screen. Amazon charged $6 but I found it in my local dollar stor for 2 bucks. .
first one received did not work. this was replaced free. second went out after a few months.addendum: i put the unit in a sunlit window one day and the next day it started to work . go figure, is the dark area on the right, above the keys a photovoltaic cell? .
