tslide rule, one step duct size calculator was fine except for one problem. THE BACK SIDE HAS AN INVENTORY STICKER APPLIED TO THE LOWER BOTTOM, THAT IS UNREMOVABLE MAKING THE FORMULAS UNDER THE STICKER UN-READABLE. THEY NEED TO USE STICKERS THAT ARE EASILY REMOVABLE WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE CALCULATOR. .
I had a duct calculator for about 10 years, but with time it wore out. I was hoping to get one similar to the one I had and took the risk in getting this one. I was glad when I got it, because I was able to read this one as if it were my old one. I am very well pleased with it. Has the same features as my old one did. 👠.
Similar to the many on the market; however, this does have a scale for flex duct which most do not. .

I use it at work, almost everyday. I don’t like that it’s on both sides. Makes it more difficult to use but it’s still a great product. .
husband used this to calculate the installation of our new AC the AC works so I guess it did too! .
I’ve been doing HVAC for 30 years the Trane Ductulator I just bought has two rivet s it slides on for settings the one rivet is loose therefore giving you an inaccurate reading, they’ve also made it smaller than what it used to be probably saving on paper not happy with this so-called professional device. .

Dryer vent warning light was on so I got out my dryer vent kit with fiberglass shafts and brush. I am moving down the vent line adding lengths of the fiberglass shafts as I go. The shaft started to bind so without thinking I switched direction on the drill (major bonehead move on my part). You know of course when I did that and hit the trigger my shaft unscrewed somewhere in the dryer vent shaft. So, there I sat with my drill, a piece of fiberglass rod, and a threaded tip with nothing attached to it. I am now in full panic mode as I have lost my dryer clean out brush and about 10 feet of fiberglass shaft, but even better I have succeeded in completely blocking the dryer vent. My wife was so happy with my performance really, she was almost speechless save for a few colorful metaphors.I ordered the camera kit in an act of desperation and to save face. When it arrived, I found it very easy to set up and operate. I had located the end of the shaft and the resolution was so good I was able to reattach it and remove the brush. I then examined the clog and used the camera in conjunction with my drain clean out snake to remove the blockage. I removed the camera and ran my clean out brush to completely remove any build up in the vent line.I cannot say enough about the camera and how great design and layout is. .
Amazing value for what you get. It works exactly as advertised and saved us $1000s of dollars by not having to hire someone at $200/hr! .
Works as described. Good focus and very clear picture, including underwater. Pretty much works out of the box. Recommended .

We were looking to replace a 20 year old one that my husband had – this one is on a 8 1/2 by 11 – but it does fit in a binder – to protect it.It came in with a crease in it – I assume during the shipping. .
This is a wonderful product, it helps you understand how the AC duct works and how to build your own duct, it takes the pressure off of knowing how big to make it and what the dimensions you need for house to buildings. Plus I asked the seller if he can send it sooner than its due date and I got it early and was thrilled. Thanks you .

The Air Conditioning Sizing Based On Demand chart is backwards, it has the High & Low demand figures reversed thereby applying more square feet per ton to the higher demand and less to the lower demand. .
Air conditioning sizing based on demand looks like it has the data backwards. the High Demand column shows higher sq. ft./ton than the Low Demand column. For the same size building this would result in lower overall tonnage for a High Demand building versus the Low Demand. .
Visiting retail, commercial or at your desk this sturdy information sheet will be used daily. Makes a great gift of junior or senior members of your HVAC team. .

16 – Leon Must Die
Top Reviews
1st this was apparently German (as I heard a lot of ”nein” when no was meant. I hate having to watch subtitles as you end up having to watch that instead of the video. Especially when the English CC was small even on my 55” TV and the actors spoke so fast that the CC couldn’t stay up for more than a second or two. Felt like I was in a speed reading class. You may think you don’t want spoilers but believe me you want to know how lame this movie is! But stop here if you don’t want to know more. So Ill just warn you away from this movie ahead of the spoilers.***SPOILER ALERT***I do know that even with the translation, the dialog was like listening to spoiled teenagers talk, not adults. I think someone very juvenile wrote the story and scripts. And of course, in the 1st 30 seconds after meeting the guy she was supposed to kill, the hitgirl falls instantly in love and decides not to kill him but yet kills some other guys that might well have effected the time line badly by disappearing. So we are supposed to believe that in those first few seconds after meeting the nerd, she decides to betray her people, (who she clearly was friends with) and side with this guy she just met, who’s invention will mean the end of her people. You’ve got to be kidding! No one would fall in love that fast or make a choice like that! Then even as she tries to unsuccessfully convince him not to upload his mind to the computer and with her own people telling her it must be done right away as they are in danger, she not only doesn’t kill him still but kills the next one sent back in time to kill him. (A former lover of hers.) And boy was that actor playing his part badly weird! The fight scene between her and the next one sent to kill him was moronically bad. She shoots the guy and can easily finish him off and then throws her gun away to fight him by hand instead. Then the fight is one of the worst ones I’ve ever seen. Just barely wrestled a bit as each falls or is thrown with fly soft pushes. Just absolutely awful choreographed and acted fight!Lots of holes in this movie:How are her people communicating with her through time by video on a laptop? Also if he uploaded his mind to this computer/machine in the basement of his house just before he dies of cancer, how would that make him live forever? He would have to have had a huge computer being maintained by some corp or after he died someone would just come in and shut off the computer not seeing or caring if his mind was inside. Yeah right! Immortality! Just another silly story hole in this movie and there were tons of them! Now could the actors act? Its hard to tell because the translated dialog made them all sound like 14 year olds. Maybe in German they were better but I don’t speak German so don’t know.Normally I would have given this awful movie a single star. But I upped it to two stars for two reasons. The female lead was beautiful and seemed to play her juvenile hitgirl part well enough. The nerd guy also seemed to play apathetic well enough too. And 2nd the plot itself could have been much better if a budget had been attached to the weak story. I think the director had only about a hundred dollars or so to make this and probably paid his actors with a meal or something. It was pitiful in low budget and ruined whatever the pre-Matrix like plot could have been.I highly advise, even if you speak German, not to waste your time with this movie. .
Leon Must Die — After watching the first seven or eight minutes of silence while watching Leon eat breakfast, I was ready to kill him myself. I settled in for a terrible movie. I wasn’t disappointed, but I ended up giving four stars because it made me laugh. It was so bad, it was funny. I laughed out loud during the fight scene between the two assassins (and former lovers). You will likely never see a more terrible fight scene: very amusing.Advisory – it’s in German with English sub-titles, and it is rapid fire. I had to pause frequently to keep up with the flying sub-titles.The movie was 95% improbable. For instance: the guns were obviously plastic toys. And young people roaming the streets of Hamburg waving handguns around – yeah, that might happen. And the first assassin appears on the street a la Terminator and two guys who saw her appear in a flash of light just go over to hit on the new arrival (she is cute). And why not, time travel is so blase anymore, right? The trivia says this was a no budget film completed in two weeks. It does have that feel, which is partly why it’s funny. The lead actors were likable, and there seemed a little actual chemistry between them. The camera work was not bad. The movie did not flow well, there are a number of dead spots where we watch the actor(s) doing nothing for long seconds. The script? It was in German, so I don’t know. In the midst of all this mess the writer or director tried to insert something of relevance – a discussion of life and death and what there might be after death. No new ground in broken there, but it isn’t silly or frivolous.I recommend the movie. Don’t go in looking for something grand. Just let it amuse you. .
This is a fun charming indie film reminiscent of recent time travel movies such as “Safety not Guaranteed”. Aqua from the future is sent back in time to kill the titular Leon and as opposed to forcing some ludicrous sci-fi action plot this is simply about human relationships.Breezy fun and easy to watch and the chemistry from the two leads definitely helps lead the way on this one. .
This is a low budget German film with a theme that has been done many times. The acting isn’t very good and the story is predictable. It’s not bad but there really isn’t much reason to watch this. .

Great tool and very easy to use. I used it for R22 recharging my home AC. Never even had to read the instructions.First one I received, the digital display did not fully display. Some of the pixels did not work. Amazon quickly sent UPS pick up very next day to pick up at my door, one more day later, next day shipping, my replacement was at my door only a day later. Replacement works perfect.Would recommend tool to anyone . Comes with a Duracell 9 volt battery. .
I brought this product as used and what I got was something entirely different. The right package but the yool inside was a different brand and not near as expensive as the item I was trying to purchase. Highly disappointed. .
i have ordered 2 of these although they do work . they only seem to last about 1 year ??? .
If you do HVAC on an everyday basis, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!! When I ordered this it did not come with any instructions on how to calibrate it properly. Had to look online. When you do finally get it calibrated, it doesn’t stay calibrated. Massive waste of money. I wound up giving it to a homeless guy so at least he’d have something to play with and look at. Would not recommend. 0 stars. .

18 – BTMETER BT-100 Handheld Anemometer Digital Wind Speed Meter Gauge for HVAC CFM Tester Air Flow Velocity, Wind Chill, 14℉-113℉ Wind Temperature
Top Reviews
I bought this to use while sailing, both for wind speed and barometer readings for weather forecasting. It does both those tasks well enough. However, it comes with about the poorest user’s manual I’ve ever seen. The one feature that most interests me is the ability to record barometer trends, but the manual only mentions it without explaining how it works. Useless! In the specifications section, there is a table of altitude vs. pressure, but without any indication of the units that are used. (They are meters and millibars.) It would also be nice to have some idea how long a set of batteries will last. The manufacturer should spend a few bucks and get someone who has something more than a Sesame Street grasp of the English language to write the manual.Aside from the documentation issue, I like the product and would recommend it.UPDATE: I ran some checks on this unit and found the following:The battery indicator is misleading. Using the supplied batteries (carbon-zinc, not alkaline – throw them away!), the battery indicator showed zero bars (discharged) after about 10 hours, but the unit continued to run (it does NOT shut itself off automatically) for nearly three more days. During that period, I periodically copied the stored barometer settings into an Excel spreadsheet and plotted the results. Contrary to what is said in the manual, the unit records the barometric pressure HOURLY as long as it is turned on, not every two hours as the manual states. The most recent reading is stored in register one, and earlier readings are shifted up one place when the new data point is stored. So, assuming the unit was powered on for the period of testing, the data in register 16 would be 16 hours old, and the data in register 5 would be five hours old. When I replaced the batteries, the stored data did not disappear, nor did the barometric calibration change. There is no obvious way to clear old data. When the unit is off, no changes to the stored data are made. When the batteries reach a certain discharge level, the backlight will no longer illuminate, and the screen will display Er2 instead of the usual data. That’s your cue to change batteries. When attempting to calibrate the barometer, the settings are made in millibars, not inches of mercury. So, if you know your local barometric pressure, you have to convert it to millibars to get the reading right. (1mb = 0.03Hg, and 1013mb = 29.92Hg) If you plan to use the instrument at sea level, and you are somewhere higher than sea level when you do your calibration, you can adjust your local barometer setting downward by 1mb or 0.03Hg for each 30 feet above sea level your are at the moment. For example, my local barometer setting is 29.92 and I am 150 feet above sea level. I therefore set my barometer to 1008 mb (1013 – 150/30, or 29.92 – 0.15Hg.) get 29.77Hg at my elevation. If I then go down to sea level, the pressure will rise to agree with the local barometric pressure. The altitude readout on the instrument is effectively useless because there is no easy way to determine sea level pressure ahead of time, so the altitude reading won’t be corrected for sea level pressure. The issued cited above would be problematic for a professional-grade instrument, but, for the price of this unit, you can easily ignore the problems and you can still get useful info. Enjoy! .
I used this product to determine wind speed during the spraying of agricultural pesticides. The device was very easy to use and gave me the confidence to spray. During my first use I thought the wind was at least 10 mph and gusting much higher than that. I tested the wind and the wind was only blowing 4 mph and gusting to about 9 mph. With this information I was able to spray. .
Ok so firstly, I bought this because I run a Youtube channel about cars, motorcycles, and technology and I like to do reviews that are fact-based with actual test results. For example, I am using this anemometer to review a motorcycle windscreen (to measure wind force before and after the windscreen on various parts of the human body). The BT Meter anemometer was perfect for the following reasons:1. High accuracy.2. Clear digital display so my camera can easily see the results before and after the windscreen.3. Nice high quality back light with auto deactivation to save batteries if you leave it on by accident.4. It has a mounting port that works with tripods, etc. on the bottom (this was essential for me because I had to connect it to my motorcycle).5. Portable and light weight, yet has a solid build quality.I also plan on using this for other reviews (aerodynamics on cars, etc.). Great product at a great price that every car guy/gal/DIY’er should own!!Given their quality, I also bought a laser thermometer from them, which I also recommend.PS – I will upload my windscreen review here in the coming days. .
Purchased this for checking the airflow on my dust collection system. User be warned: Keep a firm grip on this tool, as it may very well get sucked into the dust collector! Only downside, is that it max’d out beyond 60+ mph and 5700+ ft per min. Otherwise, it’s a really nice device. .

23 – Miracle Math: How to Develop a Calculator in Your Head (Flowmotion Book Ser.)
Top Reviews
If you look around for books or websites about arithmetic shortcuts, most of them will be about doing math problems mentally. But what about pen & paper math? What if you’re happy & comfortable working on paper, and you just need easier alternatives than you were taught in school? So far, this is the only book I’ve found, that focuses specifically on doing math problems, Left-to-Right, on paper. There might be others, but search engines don’t make them easy to find. There are sufficient drills here, to help you understand the techniques. But if you want to make it second nature – and specifically, if you want to experience a ‘flow’ where your hand and brain are coordinated and each step takes place smoothly, you will want to print out some math worksheets from some websites. If it’s available, print out the answer sheet, as well. This is one of two main brain exercises that I perform, daily. One of them is memorizing 20-30 playing cards. The other is doing arithmetic drills, with the techniques that Harry teaches here. Neither of these exercises are intended to help me perform ‘feats’. They are intended to relax oneself, while exercising the brain, and to generate a flow state.Harry’s book makes the process of calculation natural & enjoyable. .
There are few books available that are as good collection of tips and tricks for performing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division rapidly either in your head or on paper. IMHO, there are no _better_ books. I suggest copying the exercises in the book onto paper before solving them, since you will probably want to pass the book along to someone else and keep doing so until the covers fall off. The book’s that useful. (You can always duct tape the covers back on and keep going, too!)This is an excellent resource for people who avoided math in school and now wish they hadn’t. Like free throws in basketball, practice is necessary to develop the skills. But there’s no pointy-headed nerd sitting behind you to snicker if you get it wrong the first couple of times, so dig in! This book is the cure for calculator-itis. Amaze yourself by effortlessly spotting the (intentional?) inaccuracies in the price-per-oz. estimates at the grocery store as you walk along the aisles. It’s amazing how much more often you actually perform and benefit from calculations when you can perform them on-the-fly and don’t have to take time to dig out a calculator or cellphone app and enter equations. .
I loved this book so much, I recently bought 4 more copies for a friend of mine, so that they could work with their kids as if this were a school workbook I actually bought my first copy of Miracle Math a few years back and I was hooked from the beginning. Harry Lorayne’s writing style makes it seem as if this approach to calculation was a hidden secret that once discovered would make math seem so simple. I loved studying math in school but I must say that if math were this fun and exciting, I would have have become a mathematician. I do remember one of my Algebra teachers performing amazing calculations in his head and it always amazed me But now I know his secrets! If you want to brush up on your math skills, this is NOT the book. If you want a new, faster, easier, better way to perform calculations this IS the book. This will work for children who are struggling in mathematics, but it will teach them an entirely different system than they are not teaching in school, but I guarantee you that they will be getting straight A’s!I truly believe this should be a book taight in our school system. .
I owned this book years ago but lost it during a move. I bought another copy and it’s worth its weight in gold. Mr. Lorayne has rethought all the basic skills of arithmetic and come up with powerful and practical new ways to calculate. The prose is crystal clear and assumes almost nothing from the reader. His new way of doing division alone is worth the price of the book. His quotations are a bit strained perhaps but there’s so much material here – all of it practical. I can’t say enough good things.Curtis Stotlar .

I cleaned my keyboard, leaving it over-night. When I returned, the keyboard was clean, but the glob was much larger. Also , people turned up missing in the neighborhood. a Week later, the glob was the size of a house , and more people in my town were missing. I think it was just a coincidence, but because this thing grows and grows the value can’t be beat. .
I purchased this to clean the silicone electronics mat on my workbench. I also tested it in my car. Total use so far is 4 times(see picture)Pros: Its not too sticky. It does not leave a residue. There is no odor. It does a really good job of cleaning up dust, crumbs, hair, Etc.Cons: It can not be cleaned out and will eventually become saturated with the stuff you clean up(somewhat disgusting). The length of usefulness depends on how much cleaning you do. It will eventually have to be disposed of. .
I was skeptical at first. Was afraid my keyboard would be all gummed up with yellow slime! The opposite, it cleaned it as good as new. Got all those dog hairs between the keys! No smell lingering on keyboard or my hands. No sign I even used it except a clean keyboard. Kind of fun to play with. Squeeze it between your fingers! LOL My next task for it will be those dust return air vents on our heating system and use it on my dusty window blinds. This stuff works and I highly recommend! .
I purchased this product to clean those little spaces in my car filled with random crumbs from my husband and dog hair and it works amazing. Picked up everything and didn’t leave a residue. The lemon scent was faint and didn’t over power the vehicle while I was cleaning it. But this definitely got in all the little knooks and crannies .

30 – HVAC Technician Troubleshooting 2 Pack for Furnaces and Refrigeration

The Furnace Troubleshooting card was a tremendous help in trying to locate a start and stop issue I was having with my 25-year-old Lennox G40UH-36A Furnace. I tried several avenues of information gathering to fix the problem myself, but I was utterly surprised how the HVAC industry doesn’t offer that much information to us DIY’ers. YouTube was definitely a great help, but just like anything else on YouTube, you have to weed out the bad to find the responsibly safe videos. Kudos to YouTube Channels Word of Advice and Sam on showing the HVAC hands-on aspect of troubleshooting using a DMM. I felt there wasn’t a step by step procedure to follow, so I ordered the troubleshooting card to make sense of it all. And boy, was I surprised when I received the card, I immediately retrieved my DMM and followed the Steps on the card and determined that it was my control board. After 25 years, the board finally failed. I’m glad that I bought this as a set of 2 because I feel that I may have problems with the AC unit later on. Your purchase of these two cards is well worth the money in the long run. .

I have used this HVAC monitoring meter for about a week and it seems well made, accurate and surely easy to read and use. I am impressed that the battery box is sealed from moisture by an O-Ring gasket and two small screws. Shows attention to detail by the designer and manufacture. A week of use is too early to say much more but I expect it to have a long and useful life in my tool kit.Alan .
I just bought the BT-846A . I want to balance my HVAC system in my house so I can distribute my furnace air more evenly thru out the house. I’ve taken readings from each register and was able balance the lower floor to get better heat control. Before I was just guessing when adjusting the registers, this tools takes the guesswork out and Im really having fun experimenting with it. The instructions could be made a little simpler for us novices, but it’s still good instructions. I gave it four stair only because I just started using it. .
This is a professional quality meter. For me, the primary purpose was for home HVAC testing/balancing. It performed its job well. Also helps to know temperature of air flowing. One downside was the instructions provided – not well written and not easy to find what you may want to do; even if all the functions are present. .
While its not a very high quality, I bought it in Oct.2019, it is still working and it hasn’t been a pain to use. I think its a bit over priced but it was at least affordable and is getting the job done. if anything associated with it’s quality becomes an issue I’ll come back and add it to this review. .

34 – Broan MD10TU Motorized Universal Make-Up Air Damper with Pressure Sensor Kit, 10″
Top Reviews
The inspector made us install this because he said our range hood was too big and the doggy door didn’t count as an air intake ! .
Installed this to provide make up air for a 900CFM fan. Broan as a calculator on their website to help you figure out howe of make-up air damper you need. This was easy to install and work with. Many appliance vendors sell their own branded version (like Wolf), but they are the exact same thing. Just buy the Broan version. They work with anything that blows air since the sensor is just an air sensor. The 24V wires need post adapters for the wires, so make sure you buy some of those too when installing the wire to the sensor. .
This installed correctly and works well with our high-cfm range hood. Rather than set it up with our furnace, I put it in as a stand alone vent that adds air through the pantry, which was an easy setup. .
Per my Hvac contractor, this is a great product and does a great job bringing in makeup air to avoid a negative pressure situation. Excellent customer service! I would definitely purchase from them again. .

37 – Yellow Mountain Imports Vintage Style Wooden Abacus -13.9 Inches – Professional 17 Column Soroban Calculator with Reset Button
Top Reviews
My mother made me go to Abacus school when I was younger. Even as a child, I was fascinated and impressed by my school mates who were able to perform very complex calculations all in their head. Unfortunately, I never reached their level during my brief schooling before having to move, but I suddenly decided that I wanted to pick back up where I left off after over 30 years of hiatus. This abacus made of wood is surprisingly large. Because it is so much bigger (3 1/2″) and heavier than more standard abacus I was used to, I was initially turned off by it. However, I decided to try it out and then I started appreciating it more by day. Because it’s heavy, I don’t ever have to steady it with my other hand and the Reset mechanism that I initially thought was unnecessary came in very handy because of the heftiness of the device. The beads move well and stick where you place them fairly ok. The beads are a bit looser than the abacus I had as a youngster, but for all intents and purposes, this is a good device at a reasonable price and probably would work out better for men with larger hands. Although the corner brass bracings could be done better (mine are lifted and wrinkled), It has an interesting antique look to it. For those of you looking to learn Abacus, there’s no need to purchase expensive educational books. You can find many great free resources on the web –for one just search for “ABACUS: MYSTERY OF THE BEAD” and you’ll learn all necessary concepts, and the rest is for you to practice practice practice. I add 1 through 100 daily (sum 5050), and subtract back down to 0 multiple times. There are more exercises you can perform like games in the aforementioned tutorial and other online resources. Like everything else, the more you practice your speed and coordination improves and you’ll be able to visualize calculation in your mind without having to use the device. .
This is not my first abacus, but it is the first with a reset button, and I like it.First one I ever got was a “transitional” soroban which I picked up from an antique dealer in Korea. It has one bead “topside” and five “below decks,” with the former owner’s name painted on the back. This one is about the same size – somewhat large, meant to stay put and not be carried around. For the true old-timers reading this, imagine the difference between a pocket calculator and an office adding machine. As I recall abacus use from my time in Korea (1990-1991), examples in this size were what you’d see at the cash drawer of the small restaurants and stores in the little village just off-post.Among the things to like about this abacus, a few things stand out:o It has rubber feet to help it stay put. Another reviewer said the arrangement of the feet makes it wobbly and perhaps it does. The obvious solution is to not lean one’s hand on the thing. Proper technique discourages leaning on it anyway.o The placement of the little brass brads BETWEEN the rows of beads rather than in line with every one-in-three makes designating a “unit” column that much easier. It makes the brads appear to be where the decimal point and commas ought to be, which is visually easier to grasp.o Materials and workmanship imply practical utility over aesthetic beauty. It is built to be used.In the same way exercise makes the body stronger, use of the abacus makes the mind stronger. One of the advantages of archaic aids to calculation such as the abacus, the slide rule and the log table book, is that of instilling in the operator an intuitive sense of the relationships between the numbers he or she is working with and the things those numbers represent. In other words, one develops a sort of “sixth sense” regarding quantity, spatial relationship, magnitude, etc. by working with these old devices, which in turn makes the operator better at the math he or she is called upon to perform. Calculators and computers are more convenient, certainly, but we lose something valuable when we rely on electronic devices to do our thinking for us all the time. .
This is a decent soroban for the price. It is a good deal larger than a standard Japanese soroban, and thus may be better for large-handed folks or those simply not used to fiddling with little beads. The finish a little rough: you can tell this thing was meant to reach a price point. Inner wood surfaces are not varnished/treated the same, and the fittings are cheap sheet metal. That said, the beads are smooth, consistent enough, and the clearing mechanism works well enough. The beads aren’t exactly all the same size, so the clearing bar can’t quite push every bead clear perfectly, but it’s enough for practical use. I also had to tighten down a couple screws on the clearing mechanism by hand: they simply weren’t driven in all the way out of the box.Finish and detail aside, this soroban is very sturdy, and seems like it could take a good deal of punishment. I could see this being the soroban at a cash register in a market.I wish the brown beads that mark unit columns was a little lighter: in some lighting it’s hard to differentiate it from the black ones.If you’re just getting into learning a soroban, this would be a fine choice. The beads are heavy and satisfying, and the rubber feet and sheer weight mean it stays put on a table. Someone unfamiliar with using a soroban may find the standard-sized ones too small.I would NOT get this soroban if you’re looking for an “authentic” Japanese soroban. The smaller, black-framed, brown-bead soroban is the “standard” size and design. This is more like a Chinese abacus made in the style of soroban. If you’re going to transport your abacus (say, to school), you may also want to look for a smaller, lighter one. .
Satisfait, fait solidement et le bouton reset est très pratique. Maintenant reste il me reste juste à bien comprendre le fonctionnement! .

39 – General Tools 55 Heavy Duty Circle Cutter. Adjustable 1-3/4 Inch to 7-7/8 Inch
Top Reviews
I few things to help others with this really good circle cutter. The allen wrench that comes with it is metric. So unless you have metric wrenches. SAE will not fit. Another thing is the blade will need to be resharpened after a period of hard use. The router plate I was cutting a hole in was made of a phenolic material. I found that keeping a small container of water to dip the cutter in extended the time between sharpenings Replacement blades are available, but I found (if you are able to grind your edges) 1/4 key stock from McMaster-Carr . 8630 Alloy Steel Machine Key StockOversized, 1/4″ x 1/4″, 12″ Long . part # 99020A425 at a cost of $1.92 was the best way of replacing the blade. You can get at least four blades out of a 12″ length. You will have to grind them to shape using the old blade as a reference. Best to order several 12″ lengths because shipping is higher than the part.Update: Since the key stock was inexpensive I bought several different types to see which kept it’s sharpness longest. Here is my opinion on which seemed the best. The Alloy Steel Machine was the least expensive at $1.92 for a 12″ piece. It appears to be closer to the what the original cutter in holding up to wear. The Spring Steel Machine Stock part # 98535A150 at a cost of $3.23 for a 12″ length and a Rockwell min hardness of B-91, in my opinion is worth the cost in a replacement. Holds it edge longer, but still like any other steel. You have to keep water close by to keep them cool while cutting. The Stainless Steel Key Stock 98493A136 at a cost of $4.91 for a 12″ length may be the hardest to grind to shape even though they don’t give a min. .ardness for it. I just made a bit out of it and used it on the last disc I made. It held the edge great, but I only used it for a short time to finish a cut, and haven’t used it since. I use a belt sander upside down in the top of a 5 gal. bucket as a base to finish shaping my bits shapes. To polish them to a extremely sharp edge I use stainless steel compound on a tight cotton stitched disk on a buffing grinder. The last buffing part isn’t necessary to get an edge sharp enough to make a cutting edge since a sanding belt of even 120 grit on belt sander will give you the edge you have on the original blade. I finish off now with a 400 grit on the belt sander, but only had the 120 grit on hand in the beginning and it did just fine. I will try and download some pics later on when I get a chance to help understand the process I used.Rachels Dad .
PRODUCT REVIEW:I used this to cut plastic rings (7 1/2 outside diameter, 6 inside diameter) out of 3/4 thick, heavy kitchen cutting boards to be used as surrounds for marine speakers. This required two cuts which sounds easy but I wish I had this advice in retrospect. Before I begin with the advice, let me say this circle cutter is EXCELLENT! It’s HEAVY DUTY, SHARP, but does make an ungodly whirlwind of shavings from whatever your cutting so lay a big plastic tarp down before you start your first cut and be sure to limit your drill press to no more than 500 RPM. Now the cutting advice.IMPORTANT CUTTING TIPS:First, consider the width of the blade. When you’re cutting OUTSIDE a circle-shaped line be sure to ADD the blade width to the width of this cutter. When you’re cutting INSIDE a circle-shaped line, be sure to SUBTRACT the width of the blade from the circle you want to cut. If you forget this or do this backwards then your circle will be 1/4 larger (or smaller) than you intended.Second, select your cutting method and consider carefully whether your cutting RINGS or CIRCLES. You’ll be able to cut a perfect RING with this tool but if you’re cutting CIRCLES you’ll have to choose between having small holes in the middle of your work product or a slight lip on the outside edge of your circle.WHY DO I NEED TO CHOOSE – I JUST WANT TO CUT A SIMPLE CIRCLE?!The reason you cannot have a perfect circle cut is because it’s impossible to secure both the INSIDE and the OUTSIDE of a circle at the same time using this type of tool and a drill press. If you just secure a work piece from outside the circle and try to cut all the way through you will find your circle breaks from the work product when you are just about through to the other side and the circle will SPIN WITH THE DRILL blade. You’ll also have a GIANT LIP on the outer edge of your work product and you’ll be scratching your head trying to figure out what went wrong. So select from one of these methods (I prefer method B for circles and you MUST use method B when cutting rings):CIRCLES:Method A: Secure your work product from OUTSIDE the circle and simply cut 1/2 way through one side, flip it, then cut 1/2 way through the other side.PROS: Easiest method to use, will not leave holes in your finished circleCONS: This will result in a small but distinct seam in the middle of your work product. Your outer edge will also be slightly rounded. It’s simply impossible to perfectly match your cuts after you flip your work piece so your seam size will vary.Method B:Drill 3 screws through the center of your work product (spaced in a small triangle pattern) and into a piece of wood about 1/2 inch thick (secure your work piece from OUTSIDE the circle too). Begin slowly cutting the outer ring and cut ALL THE WAY THOUGH the work product until you’re into the underlying wood.PROS: You’ll have a nice, clean, flat outer edge on your circleCONS: You’ll have 3 small screw holes in the center of your circle that you’ll need to fill.WARNING: Don’t forget to back what your cutting with a 1/2 piece of wood and make sure your 3 screws go all the way THROUGH the work product into the wood behind it securely.RINGS:Cutting Rings is the same as circles, but you *MUST* use method B. Also be sure to cut the OUTER ring first and then progress to the smaller INNER ring or you’ll have to scrap it and start with a new piece.PROS: Perfect rings, both inner and outer edgesCONS:
I got this because I had an issue with a Freud hole saw that I got here on Amazon (and they made it good). Decided to look around for something else and bought this. I’m glad I did. This is a solid, heavy product that should last a long time. I’m using it to cut Plexiglas on my drill press. I’ve also used it to cut some plywood and it works fine for that too, but be prepared for some smoke. :-DThis is a slow-speed cutter with a max safe speed of 600 RPM, and you DO NOT want to use this on a hand drill. It will get away from you and hurt you or someone. So anyway, it’s good overall and I’ve been pleased. It adjusts by loosening an Allen screw and moving the cutter tool in and out of the bit. It tightens securely, and you can also reverse the cutter tip – as I did – for cutting circles instead of using it as a hole saw. Works just fine. The cutter is just a piece of tool steel sharpened with a cutting profile. That’s great because it means I can resharpen with my CBN wheels, and this thing will probably last forever.I almost gave it 3 marks because the scale on the tool is off, but then I remembered that I reversed the cutter. If you do the same, remember that the scale will be off by the thickness of the tool. .
Only good for a pedestal drill, although to be fair it states as such in the description. .

40 – Insulation Removal Vacuum Bags (1), Bulldogvacbags, Holds 105 Cubic Ft, 400 lbs
Top Reviews
I bought three of these bags to use in combination with a dust blower to remove insulation from a low slope attic for some renovations (no attic access so was part of a ceiling removal). I immediately had lots of issues:1. No clear opening for attaching to a vacuum. This bag has a perforated side so you can open it up as much as you want. Sounds great in theory but in practice the bag just rips as you use it so frequently have to come back and tape it.2. Holds little to no dust in it. The holes in the bag that hold the fabric together allow a ridiculous amount of dust to escape. After using these bags for a short time, my whole place was covered in dust from the bag! Doors were open and fans going too. As you drag this bag around, it also left dust3. It’s cheap, both in feel and function. I hated using these things. Unless you just hate your life, pay more and get something that has a no to low dust and has a opening that’s reinforced to attach to your vacuum (it’s here on amazon as well).TLDR: Pay more for something better. You’ll thank yourself when you’re not covered in dust from this sub-standard bag. Look for a black insulation removal bag on amazon and your life will be much happier. You’ll need more bags then you think you’ll need. Barley did the ceiling of a small kitchen of a 776 sqft place and used 3 bags filled to the brim (Applies to really any bag you go with). And DON’T LEAVE INSULATION BAGS OUTSIDE UNCOVERED. Once water gets to these they become so heavy it’s game over and you have to shovel it out. .
I used two of these bags for an insulation removal project, along with some more expensive bags that the rental stores sell.Pros:1. These bags are very strong. They do not tear when move them, like some of the other bags I used for this project.2. Fiberglass insulation doesn’t leak out through the material and make you itchy when you move them.3. These bags are easier to move around and stack when transporting them.Cons:1. The opening of the bag does not taper down to the 8″ diameter insulation vacuum, so they are harder to attach and change.2. The design does not allow the insulation to pack into the bag very well, so you have to continually kick the bag and shake it down to pack it. The guy doing that said it about wore him out.3. The bags didn’t wind up holding as much insulation as the 4′ x 6′ bags that I wound up buying for $35 at the local rental store. Those bags advertise only 75 cu ft. capacity, but they seem to hold more. .
I had to remove the insulation from 1300 sq ft of attic space and wasn’t sure which vac bag to get. I purchased these long bags from bulldogvac bags and also some from Midwest Filter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FNZJWPP?ref_=pe_2629610_415349410) which are shorter and larger in diameter. I used both and found Midwest Filter bags to be far superior to these from bull dog.PROS- Strong; very difficult to tearCONS- More difficult than the Midwest bags to connect to the vacuum- More difficult to get the insulation into the bag- Terrible at keeping the dust in the bag. The woven material of the Bull Dog bag leaked a fine dust everywhere. Everytime youi touched the bag there was a cloud of dust. Virtually nothing by comparison with the Midwest bag.- Questionable capacity. These bags are rated at 105 cu ft and the Midwest bags rated at 75 cu ft. In reality, I was able to get much more into the Midwest bags in spite of the size being smaller.Had I only bought these from bulldog I might have rated them higher, but in comparison I think I am being generous with two stars. .
Let’s start with the pros. I thought the overall strength of the bag material was very good. This was my first time using this type of bag, and had only ever used the lightweight polypropylene style before. These bags definitely can withstand some abuse. I also like how these bags are longer than the other style of bag. They’re not as big around, but these are much easier to stack and I’m not afraid that they’ll rip open while trying to move them. Now the cons. While I much prefer these bags to what we had used before, it seemed like I had to constantly keep an eye on the bag to make sure it was filling up evenly. Lots of compacting the insulation to get full use out of the bag. Also, having a 2-1/2’ opening is a little on the tricky side when it comes to closing the bag up. I think my vacuum hose is no bigger than 8â€, so there is a lot of bag material falling loose when you’re switching out bags and trying to tie it off. I’m sure it’s something I’ll get used to, but a narrower neck would make things much easier for one person. All in all, a great product that I will continue to use. .

Top Reviews
I liked everything about this calculator, I’m a chief electrician on a offshore heavy lift vessel and this instrument has helped me out tremendously, I would highly recommend it to all electrical engineers, electricians and maintenance personnel. .
The calculator is great for the electrical purposes. It have everything that an electrical contractor may need. However it is not good to do complex mathematical calculations because of the lack of mathemathcal functions. I believe it could be a better product if the manufacturer adds some more math funcions on it. .
This calculator was not recommended while my husband was studing for his electricians test. But, when he took the test it was just what he needed for the calculations. He saved so much time with the calculator that he could concentrate on all the other questions. Great for any electrician. .
This is the Calculated Industries5065 ElectriCalc Pro Electrical Code Calculator. Handy! I mean Handy!! Just walking a project and making preliminary plans this jwewl is handy. Just flip the top open and instantly figure lengths, sizes and etc. Get you one ! You wont regret it. Here’s a handy aside It’s upgradable !!! So you never have to use obsolete info. That’s all .

44 – Mengshen Digital Temperature and Humidity Meter – with Dew Point and Wet Bulb Temperature – Battery Included, M86
Top Reviews
*Update 12/20/17*:On further review (I was re-reading manual to look for any calibration information I might have missed) I note a passage stating that accuracy cannot be achieved outside of 64F-82F (18C-28C), or below 20%/above 80% humidity so broad swathes of common conditions (at least where I live) it cannot be counted on. The web page says 20C to 80C (-4°F – 176°F) which is *very* different, though it does note a margin of error +/-3%RH. What it all boils down to is this unit is workable for my application, and things like checking storage for wine/cigars or greenhouse conditions, but not for circumstances requiring wide operating range and fine accuracy.Original Review:I noted accuracy issues mentioned by another reviewer. Fortunately I am not in need of precise readings as I am using this to establish which areas of my home are too damp and need additional dehumidifying as I live in a tropical area in an older home with later additions. I wanted to be able to tell not only which areas are in trouble, but also progress and relative effectiveness of different dehumidifying methods (crystals, powered dehumidifier, forced air, etc,). This serves this task, as I only need to track trends, but still disappointing. .
Ordered about 9 of these for use across many client sites. They work well, but are not all consistently reading the same temperature upon delivery, and that is a problem. Would be great if they were better calibrated. .
I wonder if there are counterfeits. It is not as pictured. My unit, packaging and instruction sheet have no name on them (other than a small inventory label haphazardly stuck on the back of the package), no country of origin and no warranty information. It does not meet the specs provided. It also exhibits what I call the “jitters.” Leave in a stable location for an hour, turn it on, and the temperature will ramp up for minutes by several degrees F then bounce around over a 2 degree range, never stabilizing or coming close to a calibrated lab thermometer. Similar problems with humidity and dew point. If given any two out of three (dew point, temperature or relative humidity) I can calculate the third precisely online. This isn’t in the ballpark and does not even agree with itself. (I am obtaining dew points and RH from an international airport 5 miles away from NWS pilot information and temperature from a lab thermometer.) RH from wet bulb and dry bulb? Unless used as a paper weight, my unit is useless in practice. .
I’m a H.V.A.C technician, and this seems to be good quality for price, seems solid ,dont want to have it loose in toolbox ,but in a holder ,it seems like it will hold up .backlight would help, but seems to be accurate. Only used once to check wet bulb temp at return duct. Got the other one of this brand off Amazon ,it’s the 35dollar one and only difference i found is the backlight,if you don’t need light ,this $25 will do just fine in my opinion. .
