1 – Calculator, XINPENGFA Standard Function Desktop Calculator ?12-Digit Battery Dual Powered Handheld Electronic Business Desktop Office Calculator, Simple Desk Calculators with Large LCD Display Black
Top Reviews Nice big buttons, large display with plenty of digits. Not really sure why it needs a battery, this one is replacing a little smaller calculator that stopped working that ran just fine off of solar power only. I’ll keep it at 5 stars as long as I’m not needing to replace the battery every month. . This calculator is perfect for my office use! It is easy to use with big buttons & a large font. I like that there is an OFF button instead of just turning itself off like others do. . I really like the size of this calculator for my small desk space. Large buttons and screen makes it very easy to use, no squinting! . Great desktop calculator, especially for the price! The large display and big keys make it a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend it. Read more

Top Reviews There are many nice things about this calculator, but there are also a few things that I don’t like. I like the size of it, and I like the nice large buttons that are easy to use. I love the bright orange and white colors of it. I also really like the large display that is eye-angled. I like that it has dual power, and that you can use a AA battery in the compartment, which is very practical. The OFF key is also a very nice feature that many calculators don’t have.rnrnWhat I don’t like about this calculator is that it is very lightweight plastic, so it tends to move around while in use, even though it has anti-skid pads on the bottom of it. The tiny pads are useless when it comes to keeping it in place while using it. I find that very annoying. . Bought it August 11, 2018, it sucks. I put a battery in which wouldn’t fit properly and the plastic piece broke so I taped it shut. I love the size it was similar to one I had for years. This worked well a few times then it started only showing partial numbers remember that’s with a battery to assist the solar. . I must have gotten a different calculator than the other higher reviews – does not fill in the numbers ever! have changed batteries and tried everything short of standing on my head to read it but I know I will donate to the garbage man – I depend on my calculator at craft shows so will look for one that will work for me!!! . I am so tired of multiple fake Amazon reviews, it is evidently the norm. Do they think that folks won’t bother with the hassle of the return ? Wtf.rnrn Unreliable and freezes up. Read more

Top Reviews I figured this would be a bit of a crap shoot quality-wise, but it’s a desk calculator. At my job I need to make basic math operations with large numbers. The calculator on my computer is never as fast when you have to switch between screens. Enter this sucker.rnrnI don’t like the non tactile keys on many calculators, so I specifically chose one with this style of keys. It works well. The display is clear even in direct light and the keys offer good feedback.rnrnI have no use for memory keys, but they are there.rnrnOverall would recommend. . I ordered one for my desk at work – we were told to use the calculator on our computers so the company wouldn’t have to buy us a calculator! I spent my own money – this is a good size for my hand.rnrnAlso bought one for my home desk. . Suddenly my substandard old push button calculator walked away. Every time I sat down to do my bills I’d have to go get my phone and use the iPhone calculator. Two problems with that. 1. Distractions from texts and noties interfering while mathing. 2. Severe disappointment and lack of satisfaction resulting from no buttons to push, no click to be heard, no spring back when releasing the button.rnEvery month I’d say, “Ok I will stop at Staples or next time I’m in Target I will take a look and check out the actual calculators.†Never got around to it with all the hustle and bustle of more pressing issues like taking my dog to his psychologist and doing hot yoga and such. So I took a gamble and bought this calculator, SIGHT UNSEEN. I won. These buttons do not disappoint. I love paying my bills now. I love to do any math now. Thank you for making calculators great again. This unit occupies a place of honor in my home. Highly recommend. . My hubby uses a little calculator for big math for work. A big calculator was in order. I didn’t even know if he would care, but he’s thrilled! Very easy design. Large, smooth buttons. Remember when we were kids and we’d try to write notes with them? 0.7734 upside down now I leave my hubby notes on his big screen calculator. Appreciated the fast receipt. Very happy with this order. Top Reviews I was trying to find a calculator to replace a Sharp Elsi-Mate EL-2135 which is no longer made. This one is quite similar in most respects but is just enough smaller that I can’t “speed add” by touch like I can on the Sharp. The plus sign is hard to reach with my pinkie and I have to make a conscious effort to be sure I am pressing it enough. By contrast, the plus sign on the Sharp goes all the way up to the top of the 6 key. But, this is a nice calculator and I’ll get good use out of it.rnrnIt has the feel of a computer keyboard, which I prefer to stiff buttons on small hand-held calculators. . This is a review of the medium-size model .rnIn the age of thin, lightweight designs, this one seems bulkier and heavier than necessary, but that’s the point. The idea here is something like an adding machine without paper — a number-crunching device that’s more fitting on your desktop than the puny little calculators you usually find. But the design falls short in two aspects. First, there is no nub on the “5†key to orientate your fingers for 10-key use. Second, the buttons are difficult to push, as t
hough they have stiff springs. (Use it for 5 minutes and your fingers will be tired. Use it all day and you might risk joint issues.) And yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, the User Guide is a mostly unreadable translation of something that was obviously meant for another product. Bottom line: find something else. . This was shipped to me only 2 months ago. The numbers on the screen are only half lit and unreadable. I changed the battery even though it is supposed to also work on solar, no change. It is totally useless. It seems you only have 30 days to return it. It is gong in the garbage as i cannot use it. Thank God it was less than $ 20. . Very delighted with quality for only 15 bucks, has nice feel to keys, very large LCD display and nice weight to stay put on desk, amazed with the quality of this product and best of all it takes one AA Battery, plus if battery is dead, solar light will power it, % stars all the way, I am ordering another, only Negative is Manual, very poor instruction in various languages a Xerox, a small copy piece of paper and tells you how to replace the Button Battery which it does not have! 5 – Casio MS-80B Standard Function Desktop Calculator,Black
Top Reviews Key action is good. Extra large display is good. I deducted two stars because of the incorrect product information which says that it takes a common AAA battery which was the main reason I chose this particular model. I don’t like button batteries because you have to buy a twelve pack of batteries (for nearly the same cost as that calculator) that you will probably never use to get the one you need and every device I have takes a different type battery. Then the instructions say, Always leave battery replacement up to an authorized dealer. There is no easily accessible battery compartment on this unit. Two of the screws to open up the unit are underneath the base pads which would have to be removed and then glued back on. And as stated, the battery life is expected to be 3 years. Bottom line is that it is a 3-year calculator. You would pay more money to replace the battery than just buying another calculator. So you end up tossing out the calculator when the battery dies or dealing with only using it in a well-lighted room. . It gives wrong totals when adding a percent (%)rnexample: 100.00 + 10% is 110.00 on this calculator it gives you a total of 111.11111 . I just received and used this calculator, and it’s a steal. It replaces a much pricier HP 12C Platinum Calculator , which I’d gotten about five years ago when I needed the more advanced functions. I’d bought two of the HP 12C’s, to have one as backup, and they were nothing like the 12Cs of before — the keys malfunctioned on both of the 12Cs within just 25-50 uses (sticking and more often, not registering at all) and there was no easy fix. I’ve been tolerating them for the last few years, assuming that was just how calculators were made these days, but finally had enough.rnrnI just need basic calculator functions now, and for that, the Casio MS-80B is perfect. The interface is incredibly user friendly, the keys work flawlessly (so far), the display is large and clear, and the solar power is a bonus.rnrnI also wanted to clear up several question re: the MS-80B’s keypad functions. This model does indeed have both an ‘off’ key and a delete/backspace key, which prior reviews said this calculator doesn’t have. The picture currently displayed on Amazon’s official product page (as of this review, 6/21/15) is wrong and shows model MS-80S, which lacks these two functions. It’s possible that prior reviewers got the wrong model (?).rnrnThe MS-80B has both an off key and a delete/backspace key, which sit on the top row of the keypad. The backspace key looks like a right-pointing arrow. I’ve attached a photo of the MS-80B so you can see for yourself.rnrnIn sum, this is a great basic calculator, for an amazing price. I did a quick search of the other basic models available on Amazon, and this appears to be the best in terms of value, build, and reviews. I can’t speak to its long-term durability, but for this price, I don’t think you can go wrong!rnrn4/7/16 UPDATE: This calculator is used at least weekly and is still going strong. I especially love the large buttons and display, and the solar power. I highly recommend this calculator for anyone who doesn’t need advanced functions – from a quality perspective, it easily outperforms my high-end financial HPs (the HPs look more premier, but as I mentioned previously, the models as currently made fail quickly). . I often use the calculator app on windows with the keyboard num pad, but I thought it would be nice to have a calculator on my desk so I don’t always have to open an app or switch between apps. Something that I didn’t consider when ordering was the placement of the buttons. On a standard keyboard num pad, the decimal is under the 3 key, as is the case with most standard calculators I’ve ever used. On this calculator the decimal is under the 2 and = is under the 3. My muscle memory from using the num pad for so long keeps making me hit the = sign instead of the decimal and the + sign instead of the =. I find switching between this calculator then back to my num pad is a hassle. I will be ordering a new calculator with the button layout more similar to a standard keyboard num pad, so I can switch between the two with ease. Read more
6 – Calculator, ONXE Standard Function Electronics Desktop Calculators, Solar Dual Power, Big Button and 12 Digit Bold Font Large LCD Display, Handheld for Daily and Basic Office (DC2133)
Top Reviews This is exactly what I was looking for! I hate calculators with squishy keys and these are just like ones on an adding machine but without the bulkiness. I love that it is solar and battery operated as well. . Best calculator I have ever bought. Reasonable price and very easy to see the buttons. Love the computer style keys. . Perfect size for desk, easy to read . Love the raised keys. Read more
7 – Calculator, Slim Elegant Design, Office/Home Electronics, Dual Powered Desktop Calculator, Solar Power, 10 Digits, Tilted LCD Display, Inclined Design, White (Slim2)
Top Reviews As other reviewers have said, this is a pretty calculator if you just want something to sit on your desk and look pretty. Functionality is a whole other thing. The keys are not easy to push, and it just feels like they have cheap springs beneath them. It’s very easy to make a mistake, because the keys don’t always register the number you pressed. You definitely have to check your work a second time. Also, the CE key on mine does not work at a
ll. I just wanted a regular old calculator that would do its job. Looking pretty was an added bonus. More fool me, this calculator is a ‘pretty’ problematic waste of money. I’ll have to buy a different calculator now. . Who knew that happiness could come in the form of a calculator?! I’m very particular about my office products and they’re all themed to be gold and white. When I found myself constantly reaching for a calculator that I didn’t have I was so stoked to find this one! The calculator is sleek, very easy to use, and there’s an off button (my favorite). The numbers are big and it’s slim, so it takes up very little space. . It is beautiful, the keys are big, and it is the exact colors I wanted for the size. The keys can be a bit stubborn. I find that I have to be extremely international in my pressing which can be cumbersome during my attempts to work speedily in tax and accounting classes.rnEdit to write that at 30 days in, the display is faulty and will not properly show a digit in a certain spot. . Love how stylish this is. And I love anything that makes work even a little more fun so I took this to my office. I get many compliments on it. Bigger buttons are easy to use and it’s easy to see the screen. Read more
8 – Calculators, BESTWYA 12-Digit Dual Power Handheld Desktop Calculator with Large LCD Display Big Sensitive Button (Black, Pack of 5)
Top Reviews These are simple and nice calculators and a good value. At first I found one for sale and then I seen this package of 5 on here for less than the price of two single ones. I figured I can use them everywhere so I ordered this. These are really nice for the price. I figured if one breaks I have a spare, well they are all nice. Each one is in its own box and they come with a battery. They are solar also. Actually, I never put a battery in the one we are using on our desk. I usually don’t comment unless Amazon asks for one but this one I took the time and looked up the product so I could write a review. . I use calculators professionally. Although it does its job, It doesn’t show you what math symbol you just pressed. I end up pressing + – * / repeatedly so I can be sure. Also it doesnt remember your answer after going into power save. My other calcs allow me to press CE to wake up and show the last number on the display. This is a feature Iv grown to rely on because distractions require my attention until the calc goes into sleep mode. Each 1 comes with a battery that you have to take the plastic off. It will work without a battery but your display may not work well until you connect the bat. . I bought these for my clients at work. They are adults with special needs and never have an issue seeing what’s on screen or seeing the buttons. Exactly what we needed! . I wish I could return these calculators, they suck! The display is garbage, at normal angle all you see it dark 88888888888 on the screen. You have to pick it up and tilt it to see what you punched in. garbage! Read more
9 – Victor 12-Digit Check and Correct Desk Calculator, White
Top Reviews This is a great little desktop calculator. I say desktop-only because its size is along the lines of a graphing and/or scientific calculator You remember, the kind you used to attach to your belt to lug around in college. But this Victor is very well built and exudes quality. If this is the kind of calculator you’re looking for then you’ve found it. . Love the sleek design, large buttons an dollar . Initially this worked great. I’ve had this probably 3 months. After a month i noticed it wasn’t working. It spent most of the time in mt drawer so I figured maybe it needed full light to charge. Its been in the office lighting, window for full solar, and under a lamp. It won’t charge or turn on. . My 12 year old son is in honor math and has tons of homework that requires the use of calculator almost every day. This calculator is great in size and perfect in displaying the result. We love the quality of the buttons, not sticky or wobbly like those in cheap quality calculators.rnThe only down side is this is not a calculator to take to school, far to big for most binders. 10 – OFFDIX Large Office Calculators Office Desktop Black Calculator for 2018 Gift, Solar and Battery Dual Power Electronic Calculator Portable 12 Digit Large Office Calculator LCD Display Desk Calculator
Top Reviews I chose this little calculator for its clean look, large display and large keys. The number keys are a contrasting color so that, at a glance, I can differentiate them from the function keys. (After all, not all these little devices are created equally with standardized displays.) I like the dual power function (both solar and battery) and the tilted screen makes it easy to read the bold 12 digit display, or show figures to others. It’s small enough to fit in my hand but also stays put on a flat surface so I don’t have to constantly chase it around. Also fits nicely into a bag or briefcase. . purchased on june 5th . it worked great! after a month i noticed if i didn’t keep the calculator 100% in a light source the screen would dim immediately. annoying but not a big deal. after the second month pressing the buttons became a -hitor miss – situationif it actually registered or not.rn3rd month could NOT get the decimal point to work! after oressing numerous times a zero would appear instead of decimal pointand the two other issues increased. i tossed the calculator out withouta secondthought but the took it out of the garbage. im really getting tired of the poor quality in thingspurchased today. i knowevery generation says it .but reallly 3 months?! its a calculator ive owned ones that lasted over ten years rnon a side note co cernong amazon why is it sometimes easy to contactseller and other times hard to find where to do that ?rni was planning on contacting seller first to see if theyd honor a 1 year implied warranty but after searching for 20 minutes i gave up and came here. actually even the help bar ,,,,,,, im sure i coukd of searched “contact seller†somewhere but after a brief lookfor that one i gave up as well, ,,, maybe i was supposed to type “ contact seller “ in the search for items bar .idk . maybe thecontact seller button disappears when the return policy expires . . VERY NICE STABLE TABLE CALCULATOR. The number key pads are a good size and avoid the accidental pressing of adjacent numbers especially when one is in a hurry. The bright contrast color of the keys make the calculator attractive and easy to s
pot in a crowded desk. Nice size and not cumbersome. . I guess it’s my own fault for not looking closely but this thing is made of a cheap feeling brittle plastic, it looks cheap & feels cheap to the touch. Even the dime store calculators have the soft touch silicone buttons. This has hard plastic buttons like a child’s toy. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is it works fine & I do like that it uses a aa battery vs a low capacity button cell. Even the colors are washed out & faded.rnI should measure it but it seems small compared to the description.rnIf it wasn’t so inexpensive I’d return it but it’s not worth the hassle.rnThis is a rare occasion for me but I cannot recommend this product.rnThis was purchased for my elderly mother. 11 – Comix C-2135 Large Computer Keys Calculator 12 Digit
Top Reviews I bought it because it strongly resembles an older Sharp calculator that has worked well for years. I believe the Sharp model has been discontinued. The Comix, however, requires 1 AAA battery whereas the Sharp requires none. Both have the photoelectric charger which raises an issue with the Comix. Is the AAA battery in the Comix charged by the photo cell? If so, it should have a rechargeable AAA battery because, as I understand it, standard alkaline batteries should not be charged and it can be dangerous to do so. If it has a separate rechargeable battery built in and the removable battery is not charged but acts only as a backup, then a normal alkaline battery should be OK. The included instructions are in Chinese and, as such, worthless to me. If there is a potential danger, then this issue should be addressed both by the manufacturer and by Amazon.rnAs far as the calculator function is concerned, it seems to work OK but the overall fit and finish do not appear to be quite as refined as the old Sharp. Coming from China, I guess that is to be expected. . I like to have a real calculator but not one of the big ones and I like to be able to put it away where I have access to it but it’s not always in the way. This is a perfect sized calculator, light, excellent buttons and since there is no cord, easy to move around and work with. This is my second one. My kitty cat watered my first one with soda, and, while it still worked, it was a bit sluggish. But I liked it so much, I found this one just like my old one and I am very pleased with it. I have got years of experience using calculators for many, many long columns of numbers. When I use a calculator, I don’t look at it while entering the numbers. It feels just like the big expensive calculators of old, and the buttons are not tiny and have a nice click to them, enabling speed and accuracy. . I’ve used this for about 8 months now. I work from home. I use it daily. I needed something bigger than a calculator but didn’t need the printing of an adding machine – this seemed great. I am now looking to buy something better. For me the read out display is hard to read, I don’t know if it’s the angle or that it’s not bright enough. I wanted something cheap – and you get what you pay for. So I am now going to pay more for something better and brighter. I think it’s an okay product and if that’s all you need then it will do that job. I use it too much to have just an okay product. . General Summary – It’s a decent calculator for the price, however I don’t think I would buy again because I think the shipping cost is what made this product not worth it. In total I paid almost $18 for this calculator, when there are cheaper options that would have worked better for me personally.rnThe Good:rn- Has multiple functions, seems like it’s a good calculator for accounting / personal finance work.rn- Does not need to be plugged in, solar power and battery powered.rn- Keys are big, resembling a standard 10-Key accounting calculator (which is why I initially purchased it).rnrnThe Bad:rn- There’s no marking on the “5” key. This is crucial for touch typing.rn- The LED screen is dim, like another reviewer has said.rn- If you type fast, more often than not a key will get missed in the calculation. For some reason it doesn’t register when you are doing faster calculations. This negates the whole reason I bought it – I wanted to calculate things quickly and efficiently to make homework problems go by faster. Read more ~~ best calculators ,
