1 – Casio AQ-230A-1DMQYEF Mens Combi Bracelet Watch

I almost rated this a 3 instead of 4. It really should have a light. But, it would still be difficult to read the LCD display as it is very small. I have several inexpensive digital and analog Casios, a Citizen ECO drive rockin’ a NATO strap (great watch) as well as a Bulova (gold hands on white face that I can’t read without glasses so it stays in the box). Once in while a watch with a more formal appearance is warranted and I got this purely to have a dress watch with digital capabilities. Part of that capability should be a light but oh well. Other than that shortcoming this is a very decent watch. The silver hands and markers on the black face are readable for the most part to my late 50’s eyes. The digital display below them is not readable for me without glasses. But I can’t read the date on most digital watches nor the date window on most analogs so, not complaining too much about that. However it does have dual time, alarm, date and stopwatch. I wish the gold version of this watch was available with a dark face, I would have preferred that but, this a very handsome watch for the price. It is a resin body so, I would expect over time the chrome with wear off but, for the price that’s ok. It doesn’t look like resin it looks like polished metal. I would prefer a light and slightly better water resistance but it is what it is. Size wise this is a small thin watch that is designed to slide under a shirt sleeve without catching. It is the size dress watches used to be. Just large enough to read without getting in the way of anything. This watch does pack a lot of features into a minimalist package. Haven’t tried it but, I suspect this watch could be paired with a thin leather band as well .
Just what I was looking for. I have a rather slim wrist and big pilot style watches irritate my wrist bone. This watch fits nicely without irritation. I was looking for the digital feature in addition to the analog face and controlling the digital features is reasonably simple and intuitive, unlike many others. The black face and silver hands are easy to read for older eyes and the wristband is easy to adjust (no tools needed) and use. Timex made a watch similar to this years ago and I am glad I have finally found a nice replacement. .
Love this watch, I wear it everyday that I am not wearing my Gold version of this watch which also looks freakin’ amazing! Tons of compliments and its so classy and efficient for it to be as inexpensive as it is! The resizing locking clasp was easy to use as I have slightly smaller wrists and it only took a pocket knife to the little arrow on the inside of the clasp to resize it. SOOO much easier than the little pins in each link like most metal band watches. That was definitely a plus. This watch is a great gift for someone who is a beginner to wearing metal watches or just for anyone to add a piece to their collection that they could wear in between their other expensive watches cause it could definitely compete! The digital and analog faces are effortless to set using the buttons, my favorite feature of this watch is the hourly chimes which you can set to have on or off in case you do not want that. If you’re hesitant on buying this watch just pull the trigger and get it now, you won’t regret it! This watch grows on you quick, Trust me! .
Watch has a number of nice digital displays, Either time (12 or 24 hour), date (month, day, date), Countup timer, or Dual time. It doesn’t have a backlight or glow in the dark hands. Trying to advance analog was hit and miss, most of the time just wearing out my fingers. It took about 10 minutes to get the analog time set because it came needing to be advanced 11 hours. The booklet (extremely small print) that came with the watch did not have any information on how to adjust the band, but the internet has the answers. I got a similar watch in the 80’s, and the gasket for that watch is no longer made. This one has a smaller face, so if you have a large wrist, this might look less “manly” than expected. I think this is a nice watch with good features at a bargain price. .

Out of the box I’m thrilled with this new addition. Love the color. Just wish the links on bracelet were solid rather than folded. Easy fix though and I think this will look great with a dark leather band. Definitely happy with it. .
Buen producto .

A very good qulaity watch. Gold colour is good (doesn’t come across as a tacky layer of gold) but not too ostentatious. Great durability, had to look up how to adjust strap but found videos online when searched up adjust mesh watch clasp. If you’re wirst are very very small the bracelet can begin to flex in a slighlty rigid way. Overall few complaints and would defeintiely recommend. .
Beautiful slimline ladies digital watch, looks and feels great with proven Casio reliability. The slim profile sits well on the wrist and very comfortable to wear for any occasion.Great value for money highly recommended .
Looks great! My wife she loved it! Arrived on time!!!The bracelet gives the watch a smart look! .
Just a gorgeous watch to wear. I don’t wear this all the time as it’s one of my favourite watches. Very, very happy with it. .

Would only wear this watch at night so people don’t notice the color difference in the band. The top layer is a nice gold but the under layer that actually touches your wrist is silver and does not have the gold color. Wouldn’t be such a problem but the sides are silver as well its not all gold plated. .
I love to accessorize and dress my boys. This inexpensive watch put a nice touch when they get dressed up or dress down. It’s a an essential pieces that could complete any look. Quality and color materials is on point. .
Beautiful watch. Band is very bad and too large. Links are really weird and can not be taken out. .
So I bought this watch thinking if I spent 40 dollars that the watch would not look or sound like plastic. Around the inside isn’t even plated it’s just his ugly plastic silver color. Other then that there’s not anything wrong but not worth 40 .

I ordered this watch for my wife, watch was pretty good and had no issues but had to return it since it was little big for my wife’s wrist. Now on the product page it says free shipping and return but it doesn’t really clarify that they will charge to 10% restocking fee if you return. So, please note this before you order. .
Great color .

6 – Casio Men’s AQ-230GA-9D Gold Analog & Digital with Index Watch

I bought this watch because anyone with a watch collection needs at least one classic Casio!Casio has proven its reliability time after time and this is no exception. You can expect a 10-year battery life and for it to not lose time at any point throughout those 10 years. I bought this time piece in early May and it has not faulted once. Casio is synonymous with quality and reliability! The design is classic Casio styling. I would go out on a limb and dare say this is the epitome of retro cool! Be warned that, like most classic Casio watches, this time piece is on the small side and very light compared to more modern-styled men’s watches. Consequently, this watch’s face is smaller than what most would expect from a man’s watch. In fact, taking into account today’s fashion trends, I would say that this timepiece can be classified as unisex. Women can wear this; no problem! There is absolutely no bulk to this design. Also, don’t be turned off by its light weight. Unlike many other brands, this is not an indication of low quality. It is simply what Casio is; the maker of small, light, practical watches that will last years. The gold tone is visually soft and not the exceedingly bright gold that cheap watch makers use in a failed attempt to make their product look “blinged out.” Accordingly, this watch exudes class and sophistication whether it is worn for business or leisure. I love wearing this watch to the firm and have been known to sport it at galas. When you pair Casio’s minimalist design with its time-tested reliability, it does the job, while looking good!I highly recommend this watch! However, if you like big, manly watches with large faces, it is not for you. It is the smallest watch I own but ultimately I love it.Pairs well with a blue, black, and grey suits. .
The watch really goes with my personal style so I really like it, though it feels a little TOO cheap. I read other reviews that had the same complain but thought I’m paying like $40, why worry? But even for that price I’m not convinced of the build quality if it wasn’t because it’s a part of the vintage collection, I’d only be willing to pay around $15 for this watch I’d also like to mention that I’m not sure how to verify if I got an authentic product because I’ve seen on youtube that these get shipped in vintage edition boxes, but mine came in with a basic cardboard box. .
I loved my old Seiko that looked just like this one. A belt & suspenders watch, with both digital and analog displays. I keep the digital display set to the date so I always know what day it is (I’m retired and they tend to run together).I actually owned two Seikos like this over the years, both costing over $100. This one is the equivalent, except the dial doesn’t light up.The only annoyance is that the wristband clasp sometimes unlocks completely and I have to put it back together again. Guess I’ll just have to be more careful when I take it off not to dislodge the clasp. .
I saw this watch and pictured a heavy, sweaty man with hairy arms and an eastern-European accent hustling a Mercedes out of a used-car/car-wash combination parking lot. I had to have it.The wrist-band is adjustable, using a fangled locking contraption which can be slid up and down the wristband. That’s a plus! .

8 – Casio Quartz Resin Sport Watch, Color:Black (Model: AW48HE-9AV)

This watch is one I wear 24/7. I loosen it for bedtime , but I don’t remove it. It stays on in the shower, during cleaning, cooking and heavier tasks, which is why crystal is all scratched. It actually got scratched pretty early on.I’ve had and worn mine about a year now.And I do wear it for heavy duty tasks. I wanted a watch I didn’t have to worry too much about in water too. This watch is reasonably priced and of course it’s not the best, you can’t expect the best at this price, but do realize the crystal will get scratched if you’re not careful. My other problem with the watch is that the gold dials do not contrast against the gold background so it is not always easy to see the time. .
great little stylish watch. i just bought my second one. the first one lasted me about 3 years and only needed to be replaced cuz i snagged it on something and broke the retainer pins for the strap.for the price, i give it 5 stars. only drawbacks are there is no light to view the digital clock, setting the analog hands is annoying, and the “PM” and “alarm” indicators are nearly impossible to read/decipher without a magnifying glass and the proper angle. ive gotten a few compliments on this cheap little thing, definitely worth the money especially since Amazon offers a warranty on them rather than the seller. .
I purchased it for using on daily basis and it did not fail my expectation. Even though the whole watch is plastic but it looks decent on my wrist. I have so many Casio watches and this brand worths every penny I spent. One downside thing is the watch doesn’t have the stopper which keeps it not tickling while waiting at the warehouse so I am wondering how long the battery lasts (since it has been working the whole shelf time). I love it so much that I am now wondering of purchasing the other one for back up, but I realized the price has already raised from $13 to $22. ( I just bought it 3 days ago) :)) May be I should buy it before i goes up to $30, $40 :)) .
Attractive. I bought the men’s watch because I have a large wrist for a woman. Easy to see during day, impossible at night. Set up took 45 minutes. I downloaded the instructions from the internet because the Casio booklets print is tiny. Set up fine, everything works, I use it for swimming, shower, dishwashing. Looks nice. I wish the hands glowed so I could see it in the dark. Nice watch, nice price .

9 – Casio Men’s Classic Quartz Watch with Stainless-Steel Strap, Silver, 22.7 (Model: B650WD-1ACF)

I own a number of Casio digital watches. I am a big fan. But this is not worth your time or money. I simply do not understand the Casio strategy here. The body of the watch is plastic, painted in silver. Why not make a real metal watch and charge ten bucks more? People will pay for quality. If people want an affordable plastic digital watch, there are at least a dozen high quality Casio watches to choose from. This watch looks so cheap in person, it’s almost a laughable. Come on Casio, prove to us that they do make them like they used to. .
Definitely the best Casio watch I ever owned. The band look just like the classic 80’s watches without losing the qualities of an A168 or A158. The watch case is a 1/10 inches bigger than the A168. And it is like 0.2cm more in size than the A168. Believe me this is an amazing watch and I received many compliments for wearing it. you won’t be disappointed because it is simple, modern, and has all the features you need daily. The watch light is also better than the previous models because instead of the light coming from the side of the screen, it’s coming through the numbers. Just Amazing. Purchased it for myself after a lot of hesitation and now I am very satisfied by this purchase. I am also Willing to buy the black edition of the B650. Need I say more .
Being a mechanic I never bothered buying an expensive watch and from the dawn of cheep digital watches I had always bought Casio since 1978. They were made of some kind of cheep alloy but were durable and reliable. They never broke! only problem was the case would rot from sweat after 4 or 5yrs. My last Casio I left in the junk draw and was still working some 3yrs later. This new Casio is made of plastic. The band can’t get any cheaper and the watch is not worth buying another one. I bought this watch for the nostalgia and I give it 2 stars. The look and operation are the same from years ago although the price has come down but unfortunately so has the build quality .
Since I’m a bit long in the tooth (yes, I’m older) my eyes don’t work as well with close up vision. The majority of these types of watches have displays too small for me to read them adequately. I can read them if I stare and concentrate but that’s not how watches are supposed to be used. I need to see the information at a glance most of the time. As I researched all kinds of watches (digital only), I concentrated on the larger watches with the larger displays. I discovered that I could easily read the display but hated the large, bulky and sometimes garish housings. Then I discovered this little cutie 🙂 It’s till embodies the slim and efficient design of the small display watch but with a slightly larger display, somewhere about half way between the other two options. As such, it is perfect for me. It’s unobtrusive and functional. I wasn’t crazy about the metallic snap band but compared to the plastic and velcro bands of my previous watches, it’s great. The plastic bands dry out and simply break in about a year while the convenient cloth velcro bands soak up all your wrist sweat and smell like dirty socks after a couple weeks. Washing your watch strap every two weeks is an unwanted but necessary process in my mind. .

10 – Casio Men’s Super Illuminator Quartz Watch with Stainless-Steel Strap, Silver, 21 (Model: MTD-1079D-1A3VCF)

Top Reviews
Just got this, so I have no information about long-term performance. So far, it is as promised. Just a few notes:• It’s big. The photograph and description don’t really do it justice. It’s a wide diameter and high bezel.• It’s a bit heavy. This is good sized hunk of stainless steel, so be aware, it’s not a watch you’ll forget you’re wearing.• The light is very good, but it’s not a backlight the way a Timex Indiglo might be. It’s two blue LED lights on the top and bottom of the interior. Still, it lights up the face very clearly.• The bracelet is HUGE. I needed to have several links removed, and you almost certainly will too. I would suggest factoring this into the price of purchase.• It has a nice big face; both time and date are easy to read. All that being said, I like it. I like it a lot. .
I have worn this watch for about a week and it has a only lost about 2-3 seconds compared to the clock on my desktop Mac. The built in light is about as good as it gets for low light or dark time check. It’s a little thicker than my older Illuminator, but not clunky. Feels solid. Mineral crystal, not plastic like old illuminator. I replaced the bracelet with a Barton nylon band. Makes the watch a little more comfortable and not as flashy. I’m very pleased. It’s a keeper. Highly recommended. .
This is about the biggest watch I ever had, all my previous had been thin. The first thing to say this watch is nice looking, as you can see in the pictures not flat at all, feels well constructed, a bit heavy but easy to get used to it, I really like the super illuminator function. About brazalet is stainless steel, feel robust, easy to put on and off . its simple, hour, minutes, seconds, day in english or spanish its your choice to select, and day of the months, 100mts water resistan, Overall nice watch, well made, feels like a more expensive watch, and casio its a proven quality brand, gives you more than enough for the money you pay for . so far so good. .
This is undoubtedly one of the best value watches I’ve ever owned. I’ve had 400 dollars Helsons/Armida automatics, nice Citizen Eco-Drives, etc. and the fit and finish of this watch still impresses me. It’s also incredibly practical with the built in light. The only caveat is the band, which is made of folded steel links, and will be difficult for the lay man to resize themselves. Replace it with a $20 leather or rubber strap and you’ll have yourself an incredible watch. .

12 – CASIO Men’s MW600F-9AV 10-Year Battery Sport Watch

Top Reviews
This is my 2nd of these, although it’s a 10 years battery the first one has a broken strap and non adjustable date # after 3 years, but I wore the heck out of it so getting another was easy. This one is the same watch, but chose this gold color face this time. This watch face is virtually invisible to differentiate the hands from the face, the colors blend together. There is no contrast to separate the hands. There are some times it is OK, but at night, dusk, dim light it’s a real problem. This purchase was mistake but I’ve worn it hard for two weeks so I think I’ve maybe missed the reasonable return policy. .
I’m glad I took a chance on this wristwatch. Like others reviewers have stated, it looks so much nicer in person than the online picture depicts; my own photos don’t even do it justice. The gold/champagne-colored dial is a really handsome feature that lends an air of quality and semi-formality to the wristwatch. It makes all the difference in it being deemed a casual timepiece, as opposed to a sports piece. This is an accessory that could easily transition from the boardroom to the locker room. Bottom line—at its current price, one would be mistaken to pass on purchasing this wristwatch. .
My other Casio I bought for $10 for snorkeling has been with me for many years and had to replace the 10yr battery in three years, so don’t believe what is hyped. The watch did me well until the band broke and cost of a new band was almost the price of a new watch, so, the reason for this Casio watch with a classier look. Its excellent for the price paid and who cares if it breaks but it won’t ! I own close to a dozen watches of all makes with many Seiko and Pulsar in the collection, funny thing is I wear the cheap Casio watch the majority of the time. I will probably pick up another one for snorkeling next year as this one will attract Barracuda with its shiny face, meanwhile a good every day watch you don’t mind wearing. .
I bought this watch as a back-up while my good Swiss watch was in for repairs. I had an old Seiko for that purpose, but the last time I pulled the stem to save batteries while in my drawer was the last time it ever ran. So this watch having a 10 year battery, a mineral (rather than plastic) crystal and a throw-away price impressed me. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now (the Swiss is still waiting for parts) and it is keeping accurate time and so far only a few scratches on the crystal (I am very hard on watches, a plastic crystal would be a joke on my wrist, I even manage to get a few nicks on my good watch’s sapphire crystal). There are a couple cons though:1. Plastic wristbands cause and trap sweat, and won’t keep the watch face where I would like it. That of course would happen to me on any watch with a plastic band.2. The watch dial is attractive, more gold than in the picture, but the hands being a color match to the face makes it almost impossible to read the time in dim light. If I were to do this purchase again I would opt for one of Casio’s other dial/hands color choices. But I have given it 4 stars because for the low price it is an excellent timepiece. One more thing: I’d seen some comments on Casios that the date setter at the half-out pull seemed broken. If it seems to happen to you, just turn the knob in the opposite direction. .

13 – Mens Analog Digital LED 50M Waterproof Outdoor Sport Watch Military Multifunction Casual Dual Display 12H/24H Stopwatch Calendar Wrist Watch

My cousin loved this! He was in the military and loved that it has so many features and was easy to set up as long as you read the instructions- the backlight is really nice as well, he loved his new toy and it is a very nice quality watch. He even loved the little pillow it came on! nice! .
This is a CHINESE made watch. I LIKE THIS WATCH. Delivery was no more than a week, unlike many Asian merchants. They offer a small version for guys with smaller wrist like myself. Needless to say, I have the smaller version. I don’t know how long it will last, but as it stands now, I would buy it again. THIS WATCH DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE CHEAP FOREIGN CRAP. It is even well packaged for delivery. .
First of all, it is very cheap but attractive. The watch is set directly, I have no problem at all. The watch actually looks like a higher value, so I am very interested. The design of the watch is at the top level, I really like it. I bought this watch, especially since my previous watch didn’t look so attractive, I was shocked by what I didn’t expect. .
I don’t expect much from this watch, but I have been amazed. It has time, day of the week, date and month, stopwatch, countdown, alarm. That’s it. In my opinion, everything else on the dial is a waste of LEDs. The LED color option for backlighting is amazing. I got wet, but he continued to work like nothing. No drop test, but this watch looks durable and sturdy. I recommend it as a daily watch. .

14 – CASIO DATABANK DB-360G-9AJF

I like the watch very much. It came with a band which would come off easily. i spent about $22 to get a new band, which was a big % considering the $35 cost of the watch. The date is not as easy to read as I would like and the year is way more prominent than needed. I use the stop watch over an hour every day when I exercise. While using the stop watch the time can be read but with difficulty. I like the watch although it could use improvement. I found no way to set it to the second but it is very accurate. .
I had this watch and I was in the hospital when someone stole it. I had it for 4 years no problems. I have always worn Casio watches because they are worth the mone and I love ❤️ the fact that it holds phone 📱 numbers a timer etc. try it you will love it and you won’t have to replace the battery for over 10 years. It says 10 years but I had one for over 10 years and I only replaced it because I wanted a newer model. LOL. .
I ordered this watch for myself since I am a big Casio fan. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived exactly on the date that it said because I live in Cyprus and it shipped from Japan. The item arrived in a very good packaging with extra protection. The watch seems to be original with Casio guarantee, however it is in Japanese but this did not bothered me since I was aware that it meant to be sold in the Japanese market. The colour is beautiful and the watch looks exactly as it is in the picture. Easy to set, with nice buckle and adjustment. It works really well. The seller has put an extra care when dispatching it. Everything was first class, I did pay the VAT but I already knew that so no surprises here. I am very happy with the product and I will gladly buy again from Evans21. A big thank you for being professional and prompt. .
The watch looks very nice and everything is working OK, but the alarm and hourly chime sound are not very loud. Also the back light to light up the watch face is very dim. These were two features that were important to me and both are not what I had hoped for 🙁 .

No matter how much money you spend, you will never find a watch that gives you the time of day better than this one. I love it. No one is going mug you for it. It’s simple, cheap, no-nonsense design speaks for a beautiful minimalist aesthetic in full defiance of consumer corporate marketing that suckers people in spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a time piece. I wear it proudly. I love that every hour gets to have it’s own readable number, like an old school wall clock, or the first watch you ever owned as a child as you were learning to tell time,This less-than-ten-dollar watch will last for years. The band will break after two years, and the battery will need replacing in three years, I have replaced bands and batteries on mine, but that does cost more than just buying another damn watch here on Amazon. At this price can just throw the thing away like you would a worn pair of socks, or you can replace those two items as a matter of principal, which is what I like to do. Someday, maybe I’ll learn how to darn socks too. .
I came across this watch after muddling through hundreds of watches online, looking for just the perfect one for the clinical classes I’m about to start in nursing school this coming summer. I needed a watch that was comfortable, cheaply priced (I’m a broke college student), easily replaceable, with a secondhand and for personal tastes, one that looked simple and sweet. This watch has fit all of my expectations, plus it’s comfortable. It’s so light, and I can’t even feel the band pulling or tugging or irritating my skin or anything like that so I’m pretty happy because I hadn’t even thought of the comfort myself before previously buying it. Moving on, I saw a review on here that gave it a bad rating because they thought it was difficult to set the time, and honestly, I would say ignore that review! It’s literally so easy to set the time, and it even has the manual telling you how in one sentence. But, basically all that you do is pull out the little silver crown on the side (which by the way don’t be afraid to pull, I was hesitant to pull it to roughly at first also) until you hear or feel a little click, and then simply rotate it to the time you want, push the crown back in, and tada! All done. I was so fearful because of the one review I saw but I was surprised to see how it easy it was. Anyways as to durability, water resistance, and all that, I’m not sure yet because I’ve only had it for a an hour in a half but even if it’s not that great, I don’t think I’ll be upset because the price tag is so low that I can tatter it up in clinical classes, and easily get a new one without feeling so down and out about the money being spent. But that being said, I do plan to check back in for you guys at the end of summer and let you know how It fairs after all the hand washing, and heavy use. I’d also like to mention that I’m a woman and that if you’re thrown of by the title because it says “Men’s,” don’t be! This watch looks equally as good on women, it’s not to big, it’s in just the right spot to be what I consider unisex. I’d even lean on the side of saying that it’s kind of small as many reviewers have mentioned. But I think that people with medium sized wrist can get away with it, I’m not 100% sure because I personally have small wrists. Adding to this, If it’s of any help to anyone, I wear mine on the 7th hole as someone with small wrists, so I think that for people with medium wrists there’s still plenty of room on the band. Overall, I think that if you’re thinking of going for this watch you should! It’s a great value for a simple and classyish-looking every day watch. .
If you’re like me, maybe you’re debating if you should go with this inexpensive watch or shell out a little extra money for a fancier timepiece? I ended up choosing this one because it’s super simple with no frills.it literally just tells time, it looks cool, it didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and I’m happy with it. You might also be debating if this is a worthy investment, as you might have to keep re-buying the watch in the future, which may add up over time, as opposed to getting an initial more expensive watch that will last much longer. With that in mind, this watch gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that if I was to lose it or if it was to get stolen then I wouldn’t really be bothered too much, and I bought it with the intention of not babying it, so it suits my needs. .
I’ve been wearing this type of Casio watch for about 5 years now, and it’s become my favorite. Never paid more than $10 for one, each one last about 2 years before battery or band needs replacing, and unless it’s pitch black out the watch is the easiest to read that I’ve found. I basically never take it off, even in the shower or swimming, until the battery finally dies. The crystal does get scratched up with time, but the watch still remains easy to read. I especially like the fact that it’s not huge and has no extra features, because once the time is set that’s all you have to do. In this day and age where every device has to be “Smart”, I’m glad this great little watch is out there for those of us who just want to know what time it is, and don’t need to impress others with our bling. .

17 – Casio Men’s Mud Resistant Stainless Steel Quartz Watch with Resin Strap, Black, 27.6 (Model: TRT-110H-1AVCF)

Very good value for the money! I was looking for a watch with vibrating alarm and was deciding between the Casio GD350, Casio W735, and the Timex T49851. And then I came across this. I ordered this watch and I love it! I believe it was made available late 2018.I went to Walmart and compared my TRT-110h alongside the GD350, the size and vibration are so similar. Some of the differences between the two are GD350 is a G-Shock, water proof to 200m, better glass face, and I’m assuming it has better timer/stopwatch/alarm functionality. This TRT-110h is pretty much the little brother. Waterproof to 100m, acrylic watch face, and is mud resistant. It’s mud resistance consist of thick resin gaurds completely covering the buttons. It makes the buttons harder to push, which I personally like, eliminating accidentally activating a button. I wish my TRT-110h had snooze alarm and the vibration lasted longer than ten seconds. It only has a single daily alarm.I really love the bright white super Illuminator lights and the vibration feature. I also appreciate that the watch face has a no-nonsense utilitarian look. It doesn’t have those stupid second/minute bar counters or pie graphs cluttering the face. What I was looking for was a good beater watch to wear around on a daily basis. And this fits the bill. I don’t really mind if the acrylic face gets scratched up. The price is so good I’ll be buying another when this one bites the dust. Casio claims a 10 year battery life, but we’ll see.Buy it, it’s a great value. .
This is a decent Casio, especially for the price. Yes, the buttons are the smallest bit more difficult to push, but this not only has serious water resistance but also mud resistance. It is meant to be worn in heavy duty conditions. My complaints have to do with the alarm.First, the watch only has one alarm, not 4 like many other Casios have or 3 like similar Timex watches.Second, the alarm alerts the wearer at a small fraction of the volume of other Casios; perhaps I am also used to the volume of Timex watches (much louder!).Third, the vibration alarm is also very weak, and it only lasts 10 seconds. (I now know this is the case with all Casio vibration alarms.)I am still hoping Casio will get its act together and make a G-Shock or even a standard Casio version of the Timex Expedition Grid Shock (TW4B02500) or Timex Expedition Scout (T49851): all the functionality, vibration, and volume of these Timex watches combined with the durability and illumination of a Casio. The Scout (T49851) is hands down the best and most reliable vibration watch available anywhere (that isn’t a smart watch and still possibly better than many of those), BUT it is also one of the most uncomfortable to wear due to its poorly designed case shape and watch band. .
I bought this watch for my husband, who loves it. Casio has always served him well, the watches themselves are just about indestructible. At first we were concerned that the face would be too big. It turned out to be just right for him to be able to take a quick glance while doing paperwork, but not uncomfortable or taking up too much space as he moves his wrist. The price is right, especially for as long as the watch face holds up. .
Watch is much thicker than other digitals. Adjusting and mode buttons take a lot of pressure to use, but maybe that’s good, so if you happen to bump something they don’t activate a change in settings. Was hoping for more accuracy, loses almost a minute in a month. Seems to be made well- we’ll see as time goes on. First Casio I’ve ever owned. .

Watch looks great. The only thing that is a little irritating is the band cannot be adjusted small enough to be a correct fit on my wrist. Will wear it a little loose as such. Keeping time great so far. .
This is a great watch and it looks great. I’ve had it for about 2 months and it is still accurate to within about 1 second! I checked it against a very accurate time standard. Comfortable and easy to read. Can’t go wrong. .
Just gotta shorten the band then it’ll be perfect .
I bought this watch because I wanted a gold watch for ethnic dresses! And this is the only nice looking gold watch in casio. For some reason casio doesnt make many gold colored watches. The bezel quality is good and its heavy. But strap is bit average. seems to be made of thin gauge stainless steel. Not as sturdy and heavy as higher end casio watches. Time will tell how long the gold pleating will stay on. But I trust the casio immensely. Mineral glass and the black dial give it a killer look! .

It’s the watch your dad had in 1989. It is cool for this fact because you are now the same age as your dad in 1989. You never understood this basic watch in your younger years since you always wanted a Rolex or Omega. You always wanted a Lamborghini or Ferrari too but guess what? You are older and drive a paid off Camry and just like that Camry this little beauty is the most practical thing ever and can probably survive WWIII. It can get beat up, neglected, you can leave it on at the neighbor’s pool party and it will always be there to tell you happily that lunch time is in 10 minutes.Yeah 10 minutes can you believe that the morning went so quick for a Tuesday? Also remember it is now March. Yeah February kinda flew by right? It is a certain confidence that lets the world know you aren’t compensating for any lack of character. It’s not even solar. Keep of the light button and the battery will last 11 years no problem but, you will probably drop it on a cruse before then and have a archaeologist in 3789 C.E. find it in the now drained ocean and think it is a ancient symbol of our god ‘Casio’. Yeah it is tougher than nails. And yes button ‘A’ is recessed more than the other buttons so your grubby mitts won’t accidentally hit it and engage the ‘change time’ mode and eff up you perfectly synced quartz Feng Shui. Casio has got you bro. .
When I joined the US Army we were given a cheap army branded watch to use. It sucked. It didn’t survive a week. I wrote home and weeks later got what I asked for. A Casio g shock, the same model the I saw many others in my platoon use. It survived thousands of push-ups on pavement, dirt, rocks. It survived low crawling hundreds of meters through thick Georgia brush. It survived all the mud, sweat and moisture and bangs the army could throw at it. Now it’s in Afghanistan with me. It’s comfortable to keep under the cuff of my OCP uniform. You will forget it’s even there. I though about swapping the band out with a nicer one but it’s really not needed, it’s durable and comfortable. I never take it off, wear it in the shower and never had an issue. Before deploying I swam in the ocean with it and worked fine. If you need a watch that can survive any life style this is the one. .
It’s cheap, it’s waterproof and it tells time. This thing will likely outlast me. And when the battery dies in a few years, I can just replace it with a new one for $1. You can’t go wrong with this. .
I had a last-minute revelation that the cost of a new one would be about the same as a new (original Casio) band and the cost of the additional outer shield (which says “G-Shock) and a jeweler’s labor. So I decided on simply getting a new watch, complete with strap, for just a tiny bit more. I read the reviews first, some pretty scary in talking about non-stainless steel cheapening, or non-functioning (“overly recessed”) buttons or faulty light.I’d say this under oath (and have no vested interest in Casio!) – I’ve had at least 3 of this exact same model over the past 3 decades or so. All the watches still work, even if a few pins and casings got beat up eventually. Two have had the batteries changed every few years and a new strap once a decade. This watch is virtually the same exact watch in terms of appearance and function. I was concerned if the calendar included the 2010’s, but no worries there. Set it right up, tested that buttons and light-feature are working (they are) and the countdown timer too. Just now I set an alarm and it also worked fine, as always. So that is my experience – an exact-same watch, my “old friend” for snorkeling and day-to-day work – with stopwatch, countdown, and clock all working just fine. As for manufacture, my last one (whose strap and front harness finally broke) was manufactured in Malaysia, and the one before that in Japan. All are marked with the same model # (different factory codes) and this Chinese incarnation is marked “St. Steel” rather than “stainless” and a few other minor shifts in the back engraving (adding info on the shock casing too). But, so far, wherever it was pieced together or however the parts are procured, this is a standard-issue G-Shock Casio watch, so far exactly the same in appearance and function as my others. The last thing I’d add is about the comments on skin irritation. Well, I’ve at times ended up with a red or dry patch on my wrist (especially underneath, as I’ll flip the watch to see the front when snorkeling/diving underwater). It’s a big piece of steel which may get warm (not from battery; from sun or activity), and the steel back and/or buckle is what has sometimes done a number on my skin too. So I give it a brief rest. For the moment (two days constant wear), no irritation, no difference than any other Casio G-Shock. It’s true (but no doubt individual) that the watch and band (bulky and metallic as they are) can cause a rash or dryness, “for some of the people some of the time”, but I’m only one person. I don’t think it’s that common or so big a risk for most people. I wear this watch 24/7 (as it can shower or swim with me and I’m not connected to a phone). Love it still. Time will tell, but so far, so good! .

The price went down to $26 so I pulled the trigger and I don’t regret it; This is basically a more dressy but still understated 158 version, plus it’s made in Japan, it still has the same weak green light on the middle left side of the dial which you operate with the top left button (just like the f91w and the regular 158), so that’s the big down side of this watch (the poor light) it’s kind of difficult to see all the info on the dial in the dark with that puny little light, I would have preferred the illuminator (indiglow type light) found on other Casios, but I suppose they wanted to keep it as close to the original as possible, and I knew about the light before I bought it, it’s what it’s and I guess I’m Ok with it.I recommend it as an add on to your retro Casio collection. .
Fair warningAttached photo is what received at the doorHow do you expect to provide this as gift? It looks like evidence bagged in police drug and money laundering bust. .
they say in the description that the case is metal. Casio Vintage Line, Unisex A159WAD-1DF Silver Tone Stainless Steel Watch. this is why i purchased this watch. but it feels like it is plastic and i checked on casio world website and i saw it’s not a metal case.i love the look of the watch, nothing to say, but as far as i can see it’s an incorrect product information and the reason i purchased it, it’s gone. .
I’m a fan of cheap Casio watches. This one arrived in a Casio box. The watch uses the same Casio 593 module as in other watches in this range – terrible backlight and all.The raised plastic lens seems like it will be susceptible to scratches and chips. .

Pro:- Cheap. I lost watches before on holidays. For this money, I am not worried.- 10 year battery (No costs changing battery or making it water resistant again)- Casio quality; meaning hacking, accurate and reliable- Looks good wearing it with jeans or under a jacket. Ideal if you are on a business/seminar trip (fits under dress shirts) and want to visit the bar/market, go swimming or attend evening dinner. Unless you need to impress folks.- Bonus: two-tone, so it matches gold or silver/metal accessories- sunburst blue dial- Indices are put (not painted) onCon:- I’m a hairy guy and this sucker pulls armhairs. The more lose the band is, the more it pulls.- Date winow is a just ok.- Lume is of no use. This is no Seiko dive watch.- it does not ship with the plastic see through case (see picture). Might be an issue if you decide it’s a gift.In the end I love this practical cheap watch as much as my Rolex, Baume mercier, Omega, Eterna etc. Just hate the hair pulling.Update 2018:I got tired of this watch yanking at my hairs. I am going to get a Orient Mako or Seiko Padi .
I am a Casio and Citizens watch buff. This was a little smaller than I expected and the date can be a little hard to read and it has no gizmo value whatsoever. But for $35 who am I kidding–it looks like a piece of jewelry, I love the two-tone band with blue face look, the crystal is of a type that is very hard to scratch or damage, the battery will last 10 years, it is waterproof unless you do something really odd with it, and it keeps great time, and it is extremely easy to set. Five stars plus. I should add that I understand the people who are frustrated in adjusting the band. I have adjusted several types of bands so it was just an interesting puzzle to me. What makes this one very unique is that it has the key-style instead of pin-style mechanisms to hold the links together, AND horizontal bars around which the ends of the links are secured. The band should be really really hard to break once you adjust it (or get it adjusted) anyway. .
I have alot of watches and for 35 bucks it a decent yet classy dressy watch ,my only gripe is not that I am a big guy but the watch could be bigger not giant heavy, but bigger then it it iam gonna keep it oh the glowing is the hands the glow marker on numbers dont glow that much they should have glowed same as hands anyway I will keep it recommend it but if u have big arms it will be lost on wrist .
I bought this so that I would have something that was somewhat dressy to wear with my nicer clothes, and this fits the bill perfectly.PRO TIP: If you are going to take links out of the watch band I would recommend that you get two blocks (wood, books, legos, just something sturdy and square) that you can brace the band against (instead of using your thumbs). Then have one person hold the watch against the blocks and the other push against the pin with a finishing nail locked into some locking pliers. Using this method taking out the pins is relatively easy (it still takes a pretty hefty amount of effort though). One other thing that I really love about this watch. The luminescent dials will stay lit all through the night dimly, but you can still make them out pretty easily. I’ve never had to get another light source to read the face when I was in a dark room. .
